We use 9 sequence-specific primers and 2 group specific Primers to define the HI-ADRB1 specificities DR1,DR2, DR3, DR4,DR5,DR6, DR7, DR8, DR9 and DR10. The HLA DR3, DR5,DR6 and DR8 can be amplified by the two primers of DR3568 and DRB1. The DR6 specificity can be identified by excluding the DR3, DR5 and DR8 when the DR3568 are positive. Any individuals can be typed with some exception: the three pairs of phenotype DR3/DR3 and DR3/DR6, DR5/DRS and DR5/DR6,DR8/DR8 and DR8/DR6 cannot be discriminated from each other. We typed 106 unrelated healthy people from Beijing locations in two weeks. We think this typing method is suitable to replace the error-prone serologic HLA-DR tests in routine clinical practice, including the Prospective typing of cadaveric organ donors.展开更多

The hand is much similar to the adult hand. Three motors actuate the thumb, the index finger and the other three fingers each. The hand comprises 13 joints. Actuated by a motor, the thumb can move along a conic surface, which is superior in appearance. Driven by another motor with springs as transmission elements, the mid finger, ring finger and little finger can envelop objects with complex shape. The sensory system and the appearance design are introduced. It was verified by experiments that the hand has strong capacity of self adaptation and can accomplish accurate and powerful grasp for objects with complex shape.展开更多
Platichthys stellatus is an economically important marine bony fish species that is cultured in China on a large scale.However,very little is known about its immune-related genes.In this study,the transcriptome of the...Platichthys stellatus is an economically important marine bony fish species that is cultured in China on a large scale.However,very little is known about its immune-related genes.In this study,the transcriptome of the immune organs ofP.stellatus that were intraperitoneally challenged with the pathogen Edwardsiella ictaluri JCM1680 is analyzed.Total RNA from four tissues(spleen,kidney,liver,and intestine) was mixed equally and then sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 2000 platform.Overall,28 465 813 quality reads were generated and assembled into 43 061 unigenes.Similarity searches against public protein sequence databases were used to annotate 28 291 unigenes(65.7%of the total),368 of which were associated with immunoregulation,including 188 related to immunity response.Additionally,the transcript levels of immunity response unigenes annotated as related to tumor necrosis factor(TNF),TNF receptor,chemokine,major histocompatibility complex,and interleukin-6 were investigated in the different tissues of normal and infected P.stellatus by real-time quantitative PCR.The results confirmed that the unigenes identified in the transcriptome database were indeed expressed and up-regulated in infected P.stellatus.To our knowledge,this is the first report of the sequencing and analysis of the transcriptome of P.stellatus.These findings provide insights into the transcriptomics and immunogenetics of bony fish.展开更多

Unfortunately, the release of ...Reduction of graphene oxide (GO) is a promising low-cost synthetic approach to bulk graphene, which offers an accessible route to transparent conducting films and flexible electronics. Unfortunately, the release of oxygen-containing functional groups inevitably leaves behind vacancies and topological defects on the reduced GO sheet, and its low electrical conductivity hinders the development of practical applications. Here, we present a strategy for real-time repair of the newborn vacancies with carbon radicals produced by thermal decomposition of a suitable precursor. The sheet conductivity of thus-obtained single-layer graphene was raised more than six-fold to 350-410 S/cm (whilst retaining 〉96% transparency). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Raman spectroscopy revealed that the conductivity enhancement can be attributed to the formation of additional sp2-C structures. This method provides a simple and efficient process for obtaining highly conductive transparent graphene films.展开更多

In this work, the thermoresponsive gelatin-functionalized polycaprolactone(PCL) films were proposed for improvement of cell adhesion and intelligent recovery of gene-transfected cells. Functional copolymer brushes(PCL-g-P(NIPAAm-co-MAAS)) were first prepared via surface-initiated ATRP of N-isopropylacrylamide(NIPAAm) and methacrylic acid sodium salt(MAAS) from the initiatorfuncationalized PCL surfaces. The pendant carboxyl end-groups of the PCL-g-P(NIPAAm-co-MAAS) surface were subsequently coupled with gelatin via carbodiimide chemistry to produce the thermo-responsive gelatin-functionalized PCL surface. The thermo-responsive gelatin-functionalized PCL film surface can improve cell adhesion and proliferation above the LCST of P(NIPAAm) without destroying cell detachment properties at lower temperatures. The dense transfected cells can be recovered simply by lowering culture temperature.
