提出了日用陶瓷、玻璃制品外部装饰面铅、镉、铬、锌、钴、钡6种重金属元素释放量的测试过程及仪器分析方法。本文研究确定了擦拭纸要求,擦拭过程及消解过程等优化的前处理条件,用湿润的无菌纱布对制品测试部位进行擦拭,将擦拭后的纱布... 提出了日用陶瓷、玻璃制品外部装饰面铅、镉、铬、锌、钴、钡6种重金属元素释放量的测试过程及仪器分析方法。本文研究确定了擦拭纸要求,擦拭过程及消解过程等优化的前处理条件,用湿润的无菌纱布对制品测试部位进行擦拭,将擦拭后的纱布进行微波消解后,消解液采用等电感耦合等离子发射光谱仪进行铅、镉、铬、锌、钴、钡测定。方法检出限在1~24μg·L^(-1)之间,各元素线性相关系数r≥0.999,相对标准偏差(RSD,n=6)为0.87%~2.61%,可以有效应对美国加州65法令规定的擦拭测试要求。 展开更多

Effect of Dermabrasion and ReCell on Large Superficial Facial Scars Caused by Burn, Trauma and Acnes 被引量:9

Objective To explore the effects of dermabrasion combined with ReCell on large superficial facial scars caused by burn, trauma and acnes. Methods Nineteen patients with large superficial facial scars were treated by the same surgeon with dermabrasion combined with ReCell?. According to the etiology, patients were classified into post-burning group (n=5), post-traumatic group (n=7) and post-acne group (n=7). Fifteen patients completed the follow-ups, 5 patients in each group. Healing time, complication rate, the preoperative and 18-month-post-operative assessments using Patient Satisfaction Score (PSS), Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS), and Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS) of each group were analyzed to compare the effect of the combined therapy on outcomes.Results The healing time of post-burning group (19.6±4.0 days), post-traumatic group (15.8±2.6 days), and post-acne group (11.4±3.1 days) varied remarkably (F=7.701, P=0.007). The complication rates were 60%, 20%, and 0 respectively. The post-operative POSAS improved significantly in all groups (P〈0.05), where the most significant improvement was shown in the post-acne group (P〈0.05). The post-operative PSS and VSS improved only in the post-traumatic group and post-acne group (all P〈0.05), where the more significant improvement was also shown in the post-acne group (P〈0.05). Conclusions The combined treatment of dermabrasion and ReCell has remarkable effect on acne scars, moderate effect on traumatic scars and is not suggested for burn scars. POSAS should be applied to assess the therapeutic effects of treatments for large irregular scars. 展开更多

This paper presents a suite of techniques for spherical terrain and slab corrections for a finite spherical shell based on the analysis of conventional external corrections and deduces an equation for spherical terrain correction. The processing of gravity data acquired in the ZJJ area, South China shows that this technique significantly improves the accuracy of terrain corrections, and the quality of the data reaches or approaches the data acquired on plains. 展开更多

Like the hard surfaces of streets and sidewalks in an urban environment, the vertical and horizontal surface area on the outside of urban buildings contributes to the constant heating of large cities around the world. However, little is done to design this surface to benefit the public sphere. Instead, the facade of a building performs either as a component that focuses only on the quality of comfort for interior occupants, while ignoring effects on the exterior of the building, or as an identifiable aesthetic for the building's owners, This essay proposes the rethinking of the building facade as a steward of outdoor pedestrian welfare, and the conception of public health as an added function of the building envelope- a concept that may fall into the jurisdiction of public works. If the huge total surface area of a city's buildings is thought of as part of the city's infrastructure, then its public contribution may not only make outdoor areas comfortable, clean, and enjoyable, but also help to alleviate the bigger problem of rising temperatures in cities. 展开更多

The method for calculating wall surface heat storage coefficient was introduced,and the coefficients of several common walls with light-weight external thermal insulation materials and the traditional solid clay brick wall were calculated.In order to study the impact of light-weight external thermal insulation materials,a contrasting experiment was carried out between an external insulated room and an uninsulated room in August,2010,in Chongqing,China.The result shows that outside surface heat storage coefficient of the insulated wall is much less than that of the traditional wall.However,during sunny time,the surface temperature of external walls of the insulated room is obviously higher than that of the uninsulated room.In different orientations,due to different amounts of solar radiation and being irradiated in different time,the contrasting temperature difference(CTD) appears different regularity.In a word,using light-weight external thermal insulation materials has a negative impact on building surrounding thermal environment and people's health.Finally,some suggestions on how to eliminate the impact,such as improving the surface condition of the building envelop,and plating vertical greening,are put forward. 展开更多

The aim of the article is to present results of research that was performed with 97 Polish students of the second and third year of English Philology. The purpose of the research is to examine how conscious manipulation of facial expressions aids acquisition of foreign vowels by learners, regardless of their native language and the culture they have been brought up in. Taking advantage of achievements derived from such disciplines as psychology of emotions and phonetics depicted as a physical process, an attempt is made to find a tool that improves teaching/learning of foreign vowels, that is to say, an effort is put in search of a useful method to make the phonetic process faster and more accurate. Teachers of English are encouraged to put the method, which is described in detail in the paper, into practice with their own mother languages and to share opinions about the method with colleagues. Similarly, it is believed that it can be applied to courses of other languages than just English. Teachers of those languages are encouraged to try to use it, too. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE To investigate the feasibility of employing a modified midfacial degloving in maxillectomy. METHODS Eight patients with carcinoma of the maxillary sinus underwent a modified midfacial degloving operation. The tumors were classified according to the 2002 AJCC system. The TNM staging of the cases was as follows: 1 T4aN0M0, 2 T3N0M0 and 5 T2N0M0. Of the 8 cases, 1 patient underwent extended maxillectomy; exenteration of the orbit; tumorectomy of the sphenomaxillary and infratemporal fossae. Two patients received a total maxillectomy, and 5 a partial resection of the maxilla. Postoperative pathological report: 4 well-differentiated squamous carcinoma, 2 moderately-differentiated squamous carcinoma, 1 mucoepidermoid carcinoma and 1 adenoid cystic carcinoma.RESULTS A modified midfacial degloving operation can sufficiently expose a field of operation, resect the tumor within a safe margin, and leave no facial cicatricles. One patient died of intracranial metastasis 8 months after operation. We observed no recurrences or metastasis in other patients during the period of follow-up.CONCLUSION The major advantages of employing the modified midfacial degloving in maxillectomy is that a facial incision can be avoided. The contribution of the resonant continuum to pairing correlations is investigated in the relativistic mean field theory plus Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer (BCS) approximation with a constant pairing strength. The resonance states with their widths in the continuum are considered explicitly. The numerical study is performed in an effective Lagrangian with the parameter set NLSH for neutron-rich nucleus <SUP>84</SUP>Ni. The results show that the effect of the proper treatment of the resonant continuum on pairing correlations for nucleus close to neutron drip line is important. It is found that the problem of an unphysical particle gas could be overcome when the pairing correlation is performed by using the resonant states instead of the discretized states in the continuum. 展开更多

Carbon dots(CDs) are potentially useful in many areas such as bioimaging, light-emitting diodes, and sensing because of their excellent optical properties, high biocompatibility, and low toxicity.Knowledge of their photoluminescence(PL) mechanisms, which have been widely studied, is of significance in guiding the synthesis and promoting applications of CDs with tunable PL emissions. However,the intrinsic mechanism of PL emission remains unclear, and a unified mechanism has not been found because of differences in particle structures. This review generalizes the categories of CDs, noting their structural diversity. Three types of PL mechanism pertaining to structural differences are outlined: internal factors dominated emission(including the conjugation effect, the surface state, and the synergistic effect), external factors dominated emission(including the molecular state and the environment effect),and crosslink-enhanced emission. Optical applications of CDs are also briefly mentioned. Finally, the prospects for research into PL mechanisms are discussed, noting the remaining challenges and directions for future work. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of temperature on different facial areas by suspended moxibustion at two points,Zusanli(ST 36) and Hegu(LI 4),and probe the phenomena underlying self-regulation in the human body after thermal stimulation.METHODS:Thirty healthy volunteers accepted moxibustion over Zusanli(ST 36) and Hegu(LI 4),and the order of moxibustion points was randomly determined.Moxibustion method:suspension of moxibustion over Zusanli(ST 36) and Hegu(LI 4) on both sides was performed using an ignited moxa stick stuck in a support for 20 min.Observation method:An infrared thermal image of the face was taken before and after suspended moxibustion using a CK350 medical infrared thermal imaging instrument.Data analysis:A thermal microscopic section view system(TMTSys) was used to analyze the change in temperature in special facial areas.Statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS 14.0 software.RESULTS:Before moxibustion was suspended,the facial thermal image showed a T-shaped thermal area related to the vascular distribution with even temperature and good symmetry on both sides.Suspended moxibustion over Zusanli(ST 36) have a very significant increase in temperature at the forehead,around the nose,at the corners of the mouth,and at the cheeks and lips(P<0.01).Suspended moxibustion over Hegu(LI 4) also have a significant(P<0.05) increase in temperature around the nose,the corners of the mouth,the cheeks,and lips,where has a new high temperature area was formed(P<0.01).Suspended moxibustion over Hegu(LI 4) raised the temperature at the middle point of the lips more obviously than did Zusanli(ST 36) in the same person,(P<0.05).After 10 min of moxibustion over Zusanli(ST 36) and Hegu(LI 4),the change in temperature in the facial area reached its peak value.CONCLUSIONS:Facial infrared thermography of healthy people revealed a T-shaped thermal area reflecting a physiological thermal area.Moxibustion over Zusanli(ST 36) or Hegu(LI 4) raised the temperature in this facial T-shaped thermal area.Hegu(LI 4) led to the formation of a new thermal area in the lips.The time required for moxibustion to regulate human body temperature was 10 min. 展开更多

Molecular dynamics simulations have been performed to investigate the structural properties of hydroxyl-substituted alkyl benzenesulfonate monolayers formed at the water/vapor and water/decane interfaces.We report a detailed study of the interfacial properties-liquid density profile,hydrogen bond structure,surfactant aggregate structure and order parameter-of the novel anionic surfactant,sodium 2-hydroxy-3-decyl-5-octylbenzenesulfonate(C10C8OHphSO3Na).Simulation results show that:with increasing number of surfactant molecules,the average number of intramolecular hydrogen bonds per surfactant molecule in the monolayer decreases,but the structures forming the intramolecular hydrogen bonds still play a dominant role;the hydrophobic part of the alkyl tail chain,especially the decyl substituent on the third carbon atom in the benzene ring,becomes straighter,and more ordered towards the external interface at higher surfactant coverage;two-dimensional radial distribution functions can describe the characteristic of surfactant aggregate structures and highlight the decane phase effect on the orientation of the hydrophobic part of the surfactant;the surfactant molecules readily form long-range hydrogen bonded structures.Our results are an important complement to experimental studies.We used the all-atom model by employing the GROMACS and ffAMBER programs in the simulations,which provides a new way to simulate the interfacial behavior of alkyl benzenesulfonate surfactants. 展开更多

The experimental results showed that by applying an external magnetic field of about 300 Oe to film during deposition, a fourfold cubic magnetic anisotropy on Mg O(001) substrate and a twofold uniaxial magnetic anisotropy on Mg O(011) substrate were generated, compared to the isotropic magnetization of Fe film grown without applying the external magnetic field.Our results suggested that external magnetic field during preparation effectively induced relatively higher surface mobility of sputtered Fe atoms and further promoted the crystallization of Fe film and the enhancement of magnetic anisotropy. 展开更多
