This study was conducted to investigate the characteristics of meso-scale combustion.The technique of electrical capacitance tomography(ECT) was used to locate flame position and monitor the effect corresponding to va...This study was conducted to investigate the characteristics of meso-scale combustion.The technique of electrical capacitance tomography(ECT) was used to locate flame position and monitor the effect corresponding to varied air/fuel ratio in a meso-scale combustor.Combustion phenomena including igniting,quenching and unsteady combustion have been visualized using ECT.The method of metallization protecting ECT sensor from high temperature damage and the novel calibration method adapted to ECT monitoring of unknown permittivity flame have been shown to be successful.At the same time,electrical nature of combustion and dielectric characteristics of hy-drocarbon flame were studied.The relationship between flame permittivity and state parameters of combustion gas was demonstrated preliminarily.展开更多
An analytical potential for cylindrical pores has been derived by introducing a variational method into the integration for the calculation of the interaction energy between the wall molecules and a test molecule, all...An analytical potential for cylindrical pores has been derived by introducing a variational method into the integration for the calculation of the interaction energy between the wall molecules and a test molecule, all of which are represented by Lennard-Jones potential. The model proposed gives good fit to the results from the cylindrical surface model and the pseudoatom model. To test the potential proposed rigorously, we have carried out grand canonical ensemble Monte Carlo(GCMC) simulation of nitrogen in the MCM-41 pore at 77 K, and compared the simulated adsorption isotherm with the experimental data reported in the literature. The simulated isotherm from our model is in almost qualitative agreement with experiment. Consequently, the model proposed provides an explicit and accurate description of cylindrical pores represented by the Lennard-Jones potential. Moreover, the model can be easily applied to a variety of cylindrical pores, ranging from cylindrical surface to finite thickness walls, in both theoretical studies and computer simulations.展开更多

A questionnaire survey was conducted on 4...With China's rapid economic development, corporate social responsibility (CSR) plays greater impact on its direct stakeholder employees' organizational commitment (EOC). A questionnaire survey was conducted on 426 employees of high-tech enterprises within Jiangsu Province. Multiple regression method was used to test the hypothesis based on the questionnaire reliability and validity analysis. The results show that the four dimensions of CSR including employees responsibility, products responsibility, environment responsibility and charitable responsibility have positive effect on the affective commitment;while the continuance commitment might be more influenced by the environment and charitable responsibility. The regulatory focus plays a moderate effect between CSR and EOC. Promote regulatory focus have positive impact on affective commitment and negative impact on continuance commitment. Defense regulatory focus is just on the opposite.展开更多

The results show that: first, channel contention, channel areal differences and channel perception differences have a negative effect on financial performance and channel communication has a positive effect on financial performance significantly; second, market benefit has a positive effect on financial performance significantly; third, channel contention, channel areal differences and channel perception differences have a negative effect on market benefit and channel communication has a positive effect on market benefit significantly; forth, market benefit has a partial mediation effect on the influence of channel areal differences and channel communication on financial performance. It has also been confirmed that interindividual variations in IL-10 production are genetically attributed to the polymorphisms of IL-10 gene.Therefore, this study was designed to investigate whether the polymorphisms of IL-10 gene were associated with susceptibility to GC in the Chinese population.METHODS The serum levels of IL-10 were measured by radioimmunoassay. The single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) at positions -1082A/G, -819T/C and -592A/C in the IL-10 gene promoter were analyzed using polymerase chain reactionrestriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP).RESULTS 220 patients with gastric cancer and 180 healthy controls were included in this study. The serum levels of IL-10 were signifi cantly higher in GC patients than healthy controls (Z = -19.13, P 〈 0.001). Single SNP analysis showed that the -1082G allele, -1082AG and -819CC genotypes significantly increased in patients with GC (P = 0.029, 0.021, 0.039 respectively). In a logistic regression analysis adjusted for age and sex, the -1082AG genotype was associated with an odds ratio of 1.974 (95% CI,1.14-3.391; P = 0.014), and the -819CC genotype with an odds ratio of 2.496 (95% CI, 1.222-5.102; P = 0.012) for GC. Furthermore,haplotype analysis revealed that at least five haplotypes (ATA,ACC, GCC, ACA and ATC) were existent in this population.Also that the GCC haplotype was associated with a signifi cantly increased risk of GC as compared with the ATA haplotype (OR =1.90; 95% CI, 1.11-3.27; P = 0.02).CONCLUSION The results indicate that the gene haplotype of IL-10 may contribute to the susceptibility to GC in the Chinese population.展开更多

Satisfactory agreement with th...We present an analysis of π-^20Ne elastic scattering at intermediate energy basing on the α+^16O model of the ^20Ne nucleus and in the framework of Glauber multiple scattering theory. Satisfactory agreement with the general features of the experimental data of pion elastic scattering on the neighboring 4N-type nuclei is obtained without any free parameters. Compared with the experimental angular distributions of pion elastic scattering on ^12 C, ^16O, ^24Mg, and ^28Si nuclei, the diffractive patterns and the positions of the dips and peaks in the angular distributions of ^π-^20Ne elastic scattering are reasonably predicted by the calculations.展开更多
