A procedure revealing the joint eigenstructure by simultaneous diagonalization of. A with simultaneous Schur decomposition (SSD) and balance procedure alternately is proposed for performance considerations and also for overcoming the convergence difficulties of previous methods based only on simultaneous Schur form and unitary transformations, it is shown that the SSD procedure can be well incorporated with the balancing algorithm in a pingpong manner, i. e., each optimizes a cost function and at the same time serves as an acceleration procedure for the other. Under mild assumptions, the convergence of the two cost functions alternately optimized, i. e., the norm of A and the norm of the left-lower part of A is proved. Numerical experiments are conducted in a multi-dimensional harmonic retrieval application and suggest that the presented method converges considerably faster than the methods based on only unitary transformation for matrices which are not near to normality.展开更多

Our previous study found that Yamanaka factors regulate a developmen...The role of Yamanaka factors as the core regulators in the induction of pluripotency during somatic cell reprogramming has been discovered recently. Our previous study found that Yamanaka factors regulate a developmental signaling network in maintaining embryonic stem (ES) cell pluripotency. Here, we established completely reprogrammed induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells and analyzed the global promoter occupancy of Yamanaka factors in these cells by ChiP-chip assays. We found that promoters of 565 genes were co-bound by four Yamanaka factors in iPS cells, a 10-fold increase when compared with their binding in ES cells. The promoters occupied by a single Yamanaka factor distributed equally in activated and repressed genes in iPS cells, while in ES cells Oct4, Sox2, or KIf4 distributed mostly in repressed genes and c-Myc in activated ones. Pathway analysis of the ChiP-chip data revealed that Yamanaka factors regulated 16 developmental signaling pathways in iPS cells, among which 12 were common and 4 were unique compared to pathways regulated in ES ChiP-chip dataset in iPS cells and observed similar results, cells. We further analyzed another recently published showing the power of ChiP-chip plus pathway analysis for revealing the nature of pluripotency maintenance and regeneration. Next, we experimentally tested one of the repressive signaling pathways and found that its inhibition indeed improved efficiency of cell reprogramming. Taken together, we proposed that there is a core developmental signaling network necessary for pluripotency, with TGF-β, Hedgehog, Wnt, p53 as repressive (Yin) regulators and Jak-STAT, cell cycle, focal adhesion, adherens junction as active (Yang) ones; and Yamanaka factors synergistically regulate them in a Yin-Yang balanced way to induce pluripotency.展开更多
As the manufacturing mode focuses more on network and community,the orders and production processes are becoming highly dynamic and unpredictable.The traditional manufacturing system cannot handle those exceptional ev...As the manufacturing mode focuses more on network and community,the orders and production processes are becoming highly dynamic and unpredictable.The traditional manufacturing system cannot handle those exceptional events such as rush orders and machine breakdowns.Nevertheless,the multiagent manufacturing system(MAMS)becomes a critical pattern to deal with these disturbances in a real-time way.However,due to the lack of universality,MAMS is difficult to be applied to industrial sites.A new multiagent architecture and the relay cooperation model based on a positive process relation matrix are proposed to address this paper’s issue.An optimized contract net protocol(CNP)-based negotiation mechanism is developed to improve the efficiency of collaboration in the proposed architecture.Finally,a case study of self-organizing internet of things(Io T)manufacturing system is used to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the method.It is shown that the proposed self-organizing Io T manufacturing mode outperforms the traditional manufacturing system in terms of makespan and critical machine workload balancing under disturbances through comparison.展开更多

However, direct imaging of simultaneous-source data or blended dat...The technology of simultaneous-source acquisition of seismic data excited by several sources can significantly improve the data collection efficiency. However, direct imaging of simultaneous-source data or blended data may introduce crosstalk noise and affect the imaging quality. To address this problem, we introduce a structure-oriented filtering operator as preconditioner into the multisource least-squares reverse-time migration (LSRTM). The structure-oriented filtering operator is a nonstationary filter along structural trends that suppresses crosstalk noise while maintaining structural information. The proposed method uses the conjugate-gradient method to minimize the mismatch between predicted and observed data, while effectively attenuating the interference noise caused by exciting several sources simultaneously. Numerical experiments using synthetic data suggest that the proposed method can suppress the crosstalk noise and produce highly accurate images.展开更多
Cooperative driving around intersections has aroused increasing interest in the last five years.Meanwhile,driving safety in non-signalized intersections has become an issue that has attracted attention globally.In vie...Cooperative driving around intersections has aroused increasing interest in the last five years.Meanwhile,driving safety in non-signalized intersections has become an issue that has attracted attention globally.In view of the potential collision risk when more than three vehicles approach a non-signalized intersection from different directions,we propose a driving model using cooperative game theory.First,the characteristic functions of this model are primarily established on each vehicle’s profit function and include safety,rapidity and comfort indicators.Second,the Shapley theorem is adopted,and its group rationality,individual rationality,and uniqueness are proved to be suitable for the characteristic functions of the model.Following this,different drivers’characteristics are considered.In order to simplify the calculation process,a zero-mean normalization method is introduced.In addition,a genetic algorithm method is adopted to search an optimal strategy set in the constrained multi-objective optimization problem.Finally,the model is confirmed as valid after simulation with a series of initial conditions.展开更多

In the open and changeable environment on the Internet, it is of great significance to research a system flexible and capable in dynamic evolution that can find a collaboration method for agents which can be used in dynamic evolution process. With such a method, agents accomplish tasks for an overall target and at the same time, the collaborative relationship of agents can be adjusted with the change of environment. A method of task decomposition and collaboration of agents by improved contract net protocol is introduced. Finally, analysis on the result of the experiments is performed to verify the improved contract net protocol can greatly increase the efficiency of communication and collaboration in multi-agent system.展开更多
Objective: The aim of this study was to study the short-term curative effects and adverse reactions of docetaxel (DOC) in concurrent chemoradiotherapy compared to DDP plus 5-Fu (DF) combined with concurrent radio...Objective: The aim of this study was to study the short-term curative effects and adverse reactions of docetaxel (DOC) in concurrent chemoradiotherapy compared to DDP plus 5-Fu (DF) combined with concurrent radiotherapy in patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: Thirty-three patients in the experimental group (DOC group) were given DOC 25 mg/m2 ivgtt, dl, 7 times, concurrent radiotherapy was performed from dl. Thirty-three patients in the control group (DF group) were given cisplatin 25 mg/@ivgtt dl-3 and 5-Fu 550 mg/m2iv, dl-5, 3 weeks a cycle, 2 cycles, and concurrent radiotherapy was performed from dl. Six MV X-ray and 9 MeV electronic line for external irradiation were adopted in concur- rent radiotherapy. Results: The response rates of DOC group and DF group were 90.9% and 93.9%, the rates of neutropenia were 45.45% and 67.74%, and the rates of oral mucositis were 60.61% and 90.32%. Conclusion: The difference of short- term curative effects between DOC group and DF group was not statistically significant in patients with advanced nasopha- ryngeal carcinoma. The rates of adverse reactions were lower in DOC group. DOC combined with concurrent radiotherapy could be a new choice for patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma.展开更多

The proposed EPEN exploits the existing capabilities of the MAC layer in the ethernet passive optical network (EPON) for reduction of cost of the HFC network. As the MPCP (multi-point control protocol) is introduced in the EPEN, bandwidth control and higher efficiency can be achieved. The experimental results exhibit the throughput of system up to 100Mbps, which meet the requirements of HFC network. To improve the performance of EPEN, frequency division multiplexing (FDM) can be used for further increase of the throughput and more hardware processing modules in the future. can be implemented to enhance the capacity展开更多

The construction of the reservoir will affect the natural geological conditions of the slope of the reservoir area, slope rock under the joint effect of the waves and the reservoir water level changes, which will cause the reservoir bank collapse and even landslides. The occurrence of landslide will cause some loss. In this paper, the types of landslide generation, disaster classification, research methods and existing problems are reviewed. It makes people understand the basic research ideas of landslide surge. Through the analysis and discussion of the different research methods of landslide surges, the shortcomings of these analytical methods are analyzed, which provide important basis for future research and indicate the future research methods and direction.展开更多
A combinational therapeutic system that simultaneously administrates various pathways is preferred for anti-cancer treatment.In the present study,we successfully constructed a co-delivery system,multivesicular liposom...A combinational therapeutic system that simultaneously administrates various pathways is preferred for anti-cancer treatment.In the present study,we successfully constructed a co-delivery system,multivesicular liposomes(MVLs)co-encapsulating doxorubicin(DOX)and luminespib(AUY922).A simple and accurate dual-wavelength spectrophotometric method was established for the determination of DOX and AUY922 in liposomal formulation.MVL-loading drugs were prepared by a multi-emulsion solvent evaporation method,which exhibited excellent physicochemical properties,such as particle size of 3–8μm and high entrapment efficiency above 95%for DOX and 73%for AUY922.The synergetic cytotoxic effect for these two drugs was evaluated in MDA-MB-231 cells.The in vitro antitumor studies demonstrated the superior anti-proliferation activity of DOX and AUY922 with a combination index of 0.43,indicating a great synergistic effect.The experimental data suggested that combinational use of DOX and AUY922 within liposomes could be an effective way to develop efficient treatments of cancers.展开更多
