Then, the related strategies mast be put forward improving the teaching facilities of multimedia. This paper mainly discusses the related strategies in order to create a better teaching environment and facilitate the training of teachers. After studying this paper, we will have a good knowledge of the multimedia teaching. Consequently, we can apply the multimedia into the traditional teaching. Multimedia resources are also very useful for teachers to meet the requirements in our modem society. Many people believe that media have an obviously bad effect on children. More than 1000 studies conducted in the past 40 years show that excessive exposure to media violence causes the violent behavior in real life. Some other researches prove that media contain heavy messages that promote unhealthy habits or antisocial behaviors. This might be true. However, people often overstate the effects of media on children. Media are not the only elements that can lead to children's violence, antisocial behavior and bad habits. Other factors, like society, parents, communities, can also influence their behavior. In fact, if we can control the exposure to media in moderation, our children can benefit a lot from media culture. 展开更多

Unquestionably, anyone born to Urhobo parents, being biologically Urhobo, should speak the Urhobo language. But does everybody born by an Urhobo parent speak Urhobo? From our observation, the answer to this question ... Unquestionably, anyone born to Urhobo parents, being biologically Urhobo, should speak the Urhobo language. But does everybody born by an Urhobo parent speak Urhobo? From our observation, the answer to this question is clearly "no". Many of the Urhobo people in the Diaspora as well as those at home have chosen to shift from their own language to other languages. Hence Urhobo language has gradually acquired the status of a second language. Therefore, its teaching would also veer away from language teaching methods that are used for first languages. Based on Noam Chomsky's theory of Generative Grammar, aspects of the Urhobo grammar will be treated as we present specifically the verb "edia"/"to be". As it is, it is being presented as a second language bearing in mind the great population of Urhobo people in the Diaspora as well as Mowarin's "miguo generation" of Urhobo children back home in Urhobo land. This being so, the methods applied in this study are the Grammar Translation Method Approach as well as the Direct Method Approach. The educational project prepared for students of High School 15-17 years old with the subject of Biodiversity in Minoan Period and Nowadays. It was an interdisciplinary approach of ecological and cultural views of biodiversity. Special educational material was prepared with photos and texts of archaeological excavations and field sampling which was used in real and virtual environment, in t~ discovery teaching of Natural Sciences and History subjects. Students, in a scientific research project with constructive teachings, followed the procedures by which scientists gather, analyze, synthesize, process and evaluate information of organisms of Crete since 4000 years. Crete is located between the natural limits of three continents, having the unique privilege to host permanently or in migration, distinctive species of these three continents. After having the research questions, teachers collected the educational material, organized the work groups, implemented the didactic intervention in the classroom, had the field sampling of plants, recognized the synchronous local and scientific names of the plants, constructed the botany book, photographed the collected organisms and all the concentrated material was delivered to the team members. 展开更多

基于词汇的网络关系模式有利于语言学习者通过聚合和组合的联想模式回忆并产出恰当的词汇的理论,本研究设计了一系列课堂教学活动,试图证明词汇联想的教学模式在很大程度上能促使学习者在写作中使用更加多样化的、词级更高的词汇。本研... 基于词汇的网络关系模式有利于语言学习者通过聚合和组合的联想模式回忆并产出恰当的词汇的理论,本研究设计了一系列课堂教学活动,试图证明词汇联想的教学模式在很大程度上能促使学习者在写作中使用更加多样化的、词级更高的词汇。本研究采用了教育部新近发布的积极词汇表,对重庆大学非英语专业的两个自然班进行为期16周的实验。在实验前期和后期收集受试者作文共计500篇并输入计算机,建立电子语料库;然后将作文逐篇输入经过修正的LFP软件,得出每篇作文中各级词汇所占比例以及每篇作文的总词汇、不同词汇和词条的数量对比。对两个受试群体的对比研究发现两个群体之间存在显著差异(P=.00) ,证明词汇联想教学法能够丰富学习者写作中的词汇。 展开更多
