Two concepts, multi agent system architecture and multi agent system architecture prototype are brought forward, and the method of descrbing the relation between agents using the concepts is explored. The structure and components are designed. Based on the fact that cooperation between distributed agents is erratic, a controlled natural language communication function is designed and realized. Applying the offered interfaces, the user′s workload consumed in agent communication and management is reduced, and at the same time, robustness of the multi agent system is improved.展开更多
To improve polishing quality and cope with the shortage of skilled workers for aluminum wheel-hub surface polishing, an automatic surface polishing system with hierarchical control based on the teaching-playback metho...To improve polishing quality and cope with the shortage of skilled workers for aluminum wheel-hub surface polishing, an automatic surface polishing system with hierarchical control based on the teaching-playback method was presented. Multi-axis cutter location data (CL data) were generated with the teaching method. First, a helical tool path and a flexible polishing tool were adopted to achieve high quality and high efficiency; next, the initial irregular data were processed into continuous polishing CL data. The important factor affecting polishing quality, namely the interpolation cycle in the multi-axis CL data was calculated based on a constant removal rate. Results from polishing experiments show that the quality of automatic machine polishing is better and stabler than manual polishing.展开更多

A series of fully reversed axial, torsional strain-controlled cyclic tests and two multiaxial ratcheting tests were conducted on weld metal specimens using an Instron8521 tension-torsional servo-controlled testing mac...A series of fully reversed axial, torsional strain-controlled cyclic tests and two multiaxial ratcheting tests were conducted on weld metal specimens using an Instron8521 tension-torsional servo-controlled testing machine. The weld metal showed clear cyclic softening under axial, torsional and multiaxial loading. A modified kinematic hardening rule was proposed in which a multiaxial-loading-dependent parameter incorporated the radial evanescence term of the Burlet-Cailletaud mode with the Ohno-Wang kinematic hardening rule to predict the multiaxial ratcheting effects. The introduction of yield stress evolved with accumulated plasticity strain enables the model to predict cyclic plasticity behavior of cyclic softening or cyclic hardening materials. Thus modified model considers the isotropic hardening as well as kinematic hardening of yield surface, and it can present description of plasticity behavior and ratcheting of cyclic softening and cyclic hardening materials well under multiaxial loading.展开更多
