Fluvial reservoir characterization and identification:A case study from Laohekou Oilfield 被引量:4

Finding channel sandbodies is an important task in oil and gas exploration due to the importance of fluvial reservoirs. It is difficult to describe fluvial reservoirs in detail owing to their frequent changes and serious intersections, as well as limitations of S/N ratio and seismic data resolution. Based on the Laohekou 3D data in Shengli Oilfield, we analyze the general characteristics of fluvial reservoirs in this area, from which we find that they are characterized by strong amplitudes on seismic profiles, high continuity on time slices, and low frequency in the frequency domain. In addition, a cluster of strong string-bead- like reflections was found after color processing and detailed interpretation. To understand this observation, we conduct forward modeling to explain the mechanism. This provides a new way to identify ancient channels in similar areas. By using the multi-attribute fusion and RGB display techniques, channel incision is more obvious and the characteristics of the channel structures are manifested much better. Finally, we introduce and apply multi-wavelet detection technology to identify weaker fluvial reservoir signals. 展开更多

The porous NiTi(pNiTi)samples were produced by sintering evaporation using Ti−50.8Ni(at.%)gasatomized powders.The samples were analyzed by metallographic microscope and X-ray dispersive spectroscopy(XRD).A comparison of nickel(Ni)release and cytocompatibility between pNiTi and dense NiTi(dNiTi)was made.The results showed that the pNiTi has good mechanical properties.Ni releases from pNiTi in vitro and in vivo are more serious than those form dNiTi.The proliferation and differentiation of cells cultured with the pNiTi extracting liquid are significantly worse,and the rate of early apoptosis is higher.In conclusion,pNiTi is mechanically similar to bone,but pNiTi releases more Ni and interferes with cell proliferation and differentiation.A significantly cautious approach should be adopted when using it as a medical implant. 展开更多

Enhanced glycolysis is a distinct feature associated with numerous stem cells and cancer cells.However,little is known about its regulatory roles in gene expression and cell fate determination.Here,we confirm that glycolytic metabolism and lactate production decrease during the differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells(mESCs).Importantly,acidic pH due to lactate accumulation can transiently prevent the silencing of mESC self-renewal in differentiation conditions.Furthermore,acidic pH partially blocks the differentiation of human ESCs(hESCs).Mechanistically,acidic pH downregulates AGO1 protein and de-represses a subset of mRNA targets of miR-290/302 family of microRNAs which facilitate the exit of naive pluripotency state in mESCs.Interestingly,AGO1 protein is also downregulated by acidic pH in cancer cells.Altogether,this study provides insights into the potential function and underlying mechanism of acidic pH in pluripotent stem cells(PSCs). 展开更多

Aims The effects of fertilization on fungal plant pathogens in agricultural soils have been studied extensively.However,we know little about how fertilization affects the relative abundance and richness of soil fungal plant pathogens in natural ecosystems,either through altering the soil properties or plant community composition.Methods Here,we used data from a 7-year nitrogen(N)addition experiment in an alpine meadow on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau to test how N addition affects the relative abundance and richness of soil fungal plant pathogens,as determined using Miseq sequencing of ITS1 gene biomarkers.We also evaluated the relative importance of changes in soil properties versus plant species diversity under N addition.Important Findings Using general linear model selection and a piecewise structural equation model,we found that N addition increased the relative abundance of soil fungal plant pathogens by significantly altering soil properties.However,higher host plant species richness led to higher soil fungal plant pathogen richness,even after excluding the effects of N addition.We conclude that the relative abundance and richness of soil fungal plant pathogens are regulated by different mechanisms in the alpine meadow.Continuous worldwide N inputs(through both fertilizer use and nitrogen deposition)not only cause species losses via altered plant species interactions,but also produce changes in soil properties that result in more abundant soil fungal plant pathogens.This increase in pathogen relative abundance may seriously threaten ecosystem health,thus interrupting important ecosystem functions and services. 展开更多
