走航式海洋多参数剖面测量系统(moving vessel profiler,MVP)是一种集成程度和自动化程度都较高的海洋调查设备,能对海洋多要素进行同时观测,获得水平方向的高分辨率数据资料。由于温度和电导率传感器响应时间的不匹配,MVP下放速度过快... 走航式海洋多参数剖面测量系统(moving vessel profiler,MVP)是一种集成程度和自动化程度都较高的海洋调查设备,能对海洋多要素进行同时观测,获得水平方向的高分辨率数据资料。由于温度和电导率传感器响应时间的不匹配,MVP下放速度过快(峰值速度4 m/s)而造成非常明显的盐度尖峰现象。本研究结合Fofonoff(F)法、时间常数指数递归数字滤波(Giles and McDougall,GM)法和Grose提出的盐度尖峰订正方案,提出了一种新的方法,即MCT(match conductivity and temperature response time)法,通过对压力、温度和电导率传感器进行响应时间的匹配来减弱盐度尖峰。将SBE-9型CTD资料作为标准,发现订正后的资料与CTD盐度曲线的互相关系数为0.917,误差比订正前减小80%。对比35°N断面修正前后的盐度资料,订正后温盐跃层处出现的低盐区域消失。MVP的应用比常规海洋调查仪器CTD对于海洋现象的观测更有优势。 展开更多

A new method for calculating the failure probabilityof structures with random parameters is proposed based onmultivariate power polynomial expansion, in which te uncertain quantities include material properties, structuralgeometric characteristics and static loads. The structuralresponse is first expressed as a multivariable power polynomialexpansion, of which the coefficients ae then determined by utilizing the higher-order perturbation technique and Galerkinprojection scheme. Then, the final performance function ofthe structure is determined. Due to the explicitness of theperformance function, a multifold integral of the structuralfailure probability can be calculated directly by the Monte Carlo simulation, which only requires a smal amount ofcomputation time. Two numerical examples ae presented toillustate te accuracy ad efficiency of te proposed metiod. It is shown that compaed with the widely used first-orderreliability method ( FORM) and second-order reliabilitymethod ( SORM), te results of the proposed method are closer to that of the direct Monte Carlo metiod,and it requires much less computational time. 展开更多

The concept of stabilizability radius of P(s, δ) is introduced which is the norm bound δs for δ such that every member plant of P(s, δ) is stabilizable if and only if ||δ||〈δs. The stabilizability radius can be simply interpreted as the 'largest sphere' around the nominal plant P(s,θ) such that P(s, δ) is stabilizable. The numerical method and the analytical method are presented to solve the stabilizability radius calculation problem of the sphere plants. 展开更多

In this paper, we consider some polynomial (a,fl)-metrics, and discuss the sufficient and necessary conditions for a Finsler metric in the form F=α+α1β+α2β^2/α+α4β^4/α^3 to be projectively flat, where ai 0=1,2,4) are constants with a1≠0, a is a Riemannian metric and β is a 1-form. By analyzing the geodesic coefficients and the divisibility of certain polynomials, we obtain that there are only five projectively flat cases for metrics of this type. Singular point(SP)extraction is a key component in automatic fingerprint identification system(AFIS).A new method was proposed for fingerprint singular points extraction,based on orientation tensor field and Laurent series.First,fingerprint orientation flow field was obtained,using the gradient of fingerprint image.With these gradients,fingerprint orientation tensor field was calculated.Then,candidate SPs were detected by the cross-correlation energy in multi-scale Gaussian space.The energy was calculated between fingerprint orientation tensor field and Laurent polynomial model.As a global descriptor,the Laurent polynomial coefficients were allowed for rotational invariance.Furthermore,a support vector machine(SVM)classifier was trained to remove spurious SPs,using cross-correlation coefficient as a feature vector.Finally,experiments were performed on Singular Point Detection Competition 2010(SPD2010)database.Compared to the winner algorithm of SPD2010 which has best accuracy of 31.90%,the accuracy of proposed algorithm is 45.34%.The results show that the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art detection algorithms by large margin,and the detection is invariant to rotational transformations. 展开更多

The precise bound solution of Dirac equation with the potential is gained when the scalar potential is equal to the vector potential. The angular equation and radial equation are obtained through the variable separation method. The results indicate that the normalized angle wave function can be expressed with the generalized associated-Legendre polynomial, and the normalized radial wave function can be expressed with confluent hypergeometric function. And then the precise energy spectrum equations are obtained. The ground state and several low excited states of the system are solved. And those results are compared with the non-relativistic effect energy level in Phys. Lett. A 340 (2005) 94. The positive energy states of system are discussed and the conclusions are made properly. 展开更多

A new modeling and monitoring approach for multi-mode processes is proposed.The method of similarity measure(SM) and kernel principal component analysis(KPCA) are integrated to construct SM-KPCA monitoring scheme,where SM method serves as the separation of common subspace and specific subspace.Compared with the traditional methods,the main contributions of this work are:1) SM consisted of two measures of distance and angle to accommodate process characters.The different monitoring effect involves putting on the different weight,which would simplify the monitoring model structure and enhance its reliability and robustness.2) The proposed method can be used to find faults by the common space and judge which mode the fault belongs to by the specific subspace.Results of algorithm analysis and fault detection experiments indicate the validity and practicability of the presented method. 展开更多

For the linear crack skeleton of railway bridges with irregular strike,it is difficult to accurately express the crack contour feature by using a single smoothing fitting algorithm.In order to improve the measurement accuracy,a polynomial curve fitting was proposed,which used the calibration point of crack contour as the boundary point,and then put them all together to produce a continuous contour curve to achieve the crack length measurement.The method was tested by measuring the linar cracks with different shapes.It is shown that this proposed algorithm can not only solve the jagged problem generated in the crack skeleton extraction process,but also improve the crack length measurement accuracy.The relative deviation is less than 0.15,and the measurement accuracy is over 98.05%,which provides a more effective means for the crack length measurement in railway bridges. 展开更多

For the multipath fading on electromagnetic waves of wireless communication in the confined areas,the rectangular tunnel cooperative communication system was established based on the multimode channel model and the channel capacity formula derivation was obtained.On the optimal criterion of the channel capacity,the power allocation methods of both amplifying and forwarding(AF) and decoding and forwarding(DF) cooperative communication systems were proposed in the limitation of the total power to maximize the channel capacity.The mode selection methods of single input single output(SISO) and single input multiple output(SIMO) models in the rectangular tunnel,through which the higher channel capacity can be obtained,were put forward as well.The theoretical analysis and simulation comparison show that,channel capacity of the wireless communication system in the rectangular tunnel can be effectively enhanced through the cooperative technology;channel capacity of the rectangular tunnel under complicated conditions is maximized through the proposed power allocation methods,and the optimal cooperative mode of the channel capacity can be chosen according to the cooperative mode selection methods given in the paper. 展开更多
