Pre- and post-test on creativity using Torrance＇s Test of Creativity （TTCT） and Entrepreneurial Self-efficacy questionnaires were used to determine the level of both creativity and entrepreneurial self-efficacy The findings of the study show that a significant leap in how teaching and learning takes place is necessary if we are to properly prepare students for the 21st century knowledge economy and that active participation, confidence and ideas generation taking place under teamwork and informal settings are a way forward and to harness the two constructs.展开更多

The experiment lasted four mon...This paper aims to explore whether reflective learning ability can be fostered and nurtured with special instruction and whether it can enhance students＇ motivation of learning English. The experiment lasted four months, taking two parallel classes of the sophomore students at English major in Ningbo Dahongying University as the subjects. The results show that students can raise their awareness of reflective thinking and acquire reflective learning ability with teachers＇ instruction, and the two reflective activities （writing reflective journals and peer-evaluation） are very effective to increase students＇ motivation of learning English and improve their academic performances in English study.展开更多

However, the instruction of critical thinking has not gained prominence in Chinese universities. The author does research on how to foster students＇ critical thinking skills in the college English classrooms, and proposes some methods and techniques to facilitate the skills： change teachers＇ concept of language teaching, create a flexible atmosphere in the classrooms, teach students how to raise questions, and teach them to express logically.展开更多
