The data were measured in 232 permanent sample plots. With the data of permanent sample plots, the parameters of transition probability and ingrowth models were estimated, and some models were compared and partly modified. During the simulation of stand structure, four factors such as largest diameter residual tree (LDT), the ratio of the number of trees in a given diameter class to those in the next larger diameter class (q), residual basal area (RBA) and selective cutting cycle (C) were considered. The simulation results showed that the optimum stand structure parameters for large diameter trees are as follows: q is 1.2, LDT is 46cm, RBA is larger than 26 m^2 and selective cutting cycle time (C) is between 10 and 20 years.展开更多

METHODS: BM-MSCs were isolated from SD rats and induced to differentiate into islet-like cells under defined conditions. Differentiation was evaluated with electron microscopy, RT-PCR, immunofluorescence and flow cytometry. insulin release after glucose challenge was tested with ELiSA. Then allogeneic islet-like cells were transplanted into diabetic rats via portal vein. Blood glucose levels were monitored and islet hormones were detected in the liver and pancreas of the recipient by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: BM-MSCs were spheroid adherent monolayers with high CD90, CD29 and very low CD45 expression. Typical islet-like cells clusters were formed after induction. Electron microscopy revealed that secretory granules were densely packed within the cytoplasm of the differentiated cells. The spheroid cells expressed islet related genes and hormones. The insulin-positive cells accounted for 19.8% and mean fluorescence intensity increased by 2.6 fold after induction. The cells secreted a small amount of insulin that was increased 1.5 fold after glucose challenge. After transplantation, islet-like cells could locate in the liver expressing islet hormones and lower the glucose levels of diabetic rats during d 6 to d 20.CONCLUSION: Rat BM-MSCs could be transdifferentiated into islet-like cells in vitro . Portal vein transplantation of islet-like cells could alleviate the hyperglycemia of diabetic rats.展开更多

The controlling factors in the model,in order of importance, are Secchi depth, sediment composition, water temperature, salinity, current velocity, water depth and nutrient quality. Specific factor piecewise functions have been used to transform parameter values into normalized quality indexes. The weight of each factor was defined using expert knowledge and the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) method. All of the data thus obtained were interpolated using the inverse distance weighted(IDW) interpolation method to create maps for the entire region. In this study, the analysis of habitat suitability in the subtidal zone of Xiaoheishan Island was conducted for four seasons. According to the GIS-based HSI model, the optimal habitat of Z ostera marina L. appears in spring, although habitat remains suitable all year round. On the whole, the optimum site for eelgrass restoration is located in the eastern region, followed by the western and southern regions. We believe that the GIS-based HSI model could be a promising tool to select sites for Z ostera marina L. restoration and could also be applicable in other types of habitat evaluation.展开更多

The results show that the average DBH, tree height and volume of the 23-year-old C. fissa plantation are 19.4 cm, 20.4 m and 0.326 1 m3 respectively. The fast growing periods of DBH, tree height and volume are the 2^nd- 8^th, 6^th-11^th, 6^th-23^nd year. Annual increment curve and average increment curve of volume haven't intersected in the 23 years, which means the 23-year-old C. fissais plantation has not reached the quantitative mature age. The growth equations of DBH, tree height and volume are D=1.713 3T-0.050 6T2+0.000 7T2-1.942 2, H= 1.925 7T-0.039 8T2-2.489 0, V=-0.010 4T-0.002 4T2-4.084 8e^-0.005 T2+0.012 7. Ac- cording to the volume regression equation of Castanopsis fissa, it will reach quanti- tative maturity in the 24~ year.展开更多
