The on-chip matched amplifier employs lumped elements to reduce the circuit...A two-stage monolithic low noise amplifier is developed for satellite communication applications,using a 0.5μm enhancement PHEMT technology. The on-chip matched amplifier employs lumped elements to reduce the circuit size, and shows a 5012 noise figure less than 0.9dB, gain greater than 26dB, and return loss less than - 10dB in the S-C band range of 3.5 to 4. 3GHz. The noise figure obtained here is the best result ever reported to date of an MMIC LNA with a gain of more than 20dB for the S-C band frequency range. It is attributed to the low noise performance of the enhancement PHEMT transistor and minimized parasitic resistance of the input match network by a common series source inductor and a unique divided resistance at the drain.展开更多

In order to reduce the computational complexity and the number of coefficients of Volterra series kernels, a Volterra series improved behavioral model based on Laguerre orthogonal polynomials function, namely Voherra-Laguerre behavioral model, is proposed. Mathematical expressions of Volterra-Laguerre behavioral model is derived, and accuracy of the model is verified through comparison of measured and simulation output data from a freescale PA using MRF21030 transistor. Mathematical analysis and simulation results show that Voherra-Laguerre behavioral model has a simple structure, much less coefficients and better modeling performance than general Volterra series model. The model can be used more correctly for system-level simulation of RF PA with wideband signal.展开更多

Test tube bundle consists of 36 cooling tubes, 12 condensate supply tubes and 24 un-cooled dummy tubes. Cooling test tubes are made of copper and have an outer diameter of 19.1 mm and condensing length of 150 mm, Steam flows horizontally through the test tube bundle at gap velocities 15-27 m/s at pressures of 8.8 kPa. In this study, experimental data about condensate flow pattern and condensation heat transfer in a tube bundle were collected for the optimization of tube arrangement in large power plant condensers.展开更多

With Cu/CuO nanowires well dispersed and micro-electrode chip fabrication, nanowires assembly experiments are performed and the experimental results show that Cu/CuO nanowires are assembled at hundreds of micro-electrodes pairs at one time, and the success rate of nanowires assembly also reaches 90%.展开更多
