This article focuses on big data-related majors in colleges and universities and expounds on the important role of industry-education integration and collaborative education in cultivating students’ practical abilities innovative spirits and meeting the needs of the digital economy. It also discusses the existing models and problems of industry-education integration and collaborative education in colleges and universities in Henan Province for the digital economy.
