新兵思想政治教育中的“微”与“大”

“微教育”这一新的思想政治教育形式正在新训中蓬勃兴起,并起到了很好的作用。一些人认为要想改变传统思想政治教育教学效果不佳的现状,应当在新训中用微教育取代传统大课教学。笔者认为,思想政治教育注重微课作用的同时也不能否定大课教育,应当处理好两者之间的关系。

Sandwich-Course Training in Higher Education as a Major Strategic Thrust Regional Policy of Professional Training： Lessons Learned From the Pioneering Example of the University Institute of Technology Corsica

Corsica is an island economy marked by the complete absence of any of the big holdings and multinationals that fuel and forge the worldwide economy. Equally absent is any of the kind of medium-sized enterprises servicing big business that have spearheaded local economies in other regions like Lombardy. Corsica＇s economic fabric is essentially made up of small and home businesses, farm smallholdings, artisans, and small-scale retail. Given how public-sector capital investment is already hypertrophied, a policy of investment in human capital could be a compelling new opportunity to trigger a dynamic regional development impetus. Leading the way, the University Institute of Technology Corsica, Corsica University＇s affiliated school of applied vocational technologies, is demonstrating its ability to act as a structurally engaged facilitator of island-wide spatial planning and regional branding. As a founding pillar in pioneering the emergence of a sandwich-course training system in higher education in Corsica, in 2010 the university made its entire training curriculum fully accessible to all through the signature of apprenticeship training or vocational qualifications agreements. This grass-roots programme is the outcome of a committed core strategy to develop partnerships with the island＇s key social and economic communities （businesses, community groups, and local authorities）, and it plays a fundamental role in shaping and selling the most vital valued assets that typify a regional territory emerging into a structured destination-brand identity （simultaneous growth in the employability and quality of school-to-work transition shown by its human capital, mass shift in the degree of skill acquisition directly tied to the regional territory＇s own organic needs, fluidity of knowledge transfer fully controlled through sandwich placements, deep sustainable entrepreneurship education etc.）. After highlighting the specific features of the sandwich training policy development process in Corsica as a shaper of the Regional Vocational Development Programme, this paper brings an analysis of the lessons learned from the pioneering example of the University Institute of Technology Corsica as a dynamic engineer of structured future and regional brand for Corsica.

The Ways to Promote Recessive Ideological and Political Education of College Students

Recessive ideological and political education refers to consciously apply hidden curriculum theory in the ideological and political education process, focusing on the development and utilization of recessive ideological and political education resources, by relatively hidden form, making educatees get some idea or experience among the unconscious. According to the author many years＇ teaching experience, this paper comprehensively studied the ways to promote recessive ideological and political education of college students. Research points out： Schools should make full use of various disciplines to infiltrate education teaching, play the educator charisma＇ s recessive educational role, mine campus recessive education resources to rich recessive education carrier. Sandwich Courses in Higher Education： From Transmitting Knowledge to Building Regional Brand Lessons Learned From the Corsica-region University-sponsored Placements ＆ Careers Service （CFA UNIV） Experience

Long confined to early pre-tertiary school-leaver training and often synonymous with academic failure, sandwich training has experienced a remarkable turnaround, debunking common misconceptions and gaining ground in higher education. Sandwich training improves academic success rates and school-to-work transition prospects, making it both a pathway to excellence and a gateway into employment by keeping a clear tack in the face of social-economic headwinds---especially for young graduates. The factors involved are primarily education-driven （academic success, best-in-class graduates, and etc.）, but where sandwich training really floats is in the job market, by co-potentializing both school-to-work transition and employability. The Corsica-region University-sponsored Placements ＆ Apprenticeships Service （CFA UNIV）, as regional leader in post-secondary sandwich placement （65% of sandwich-placement students in Corsica）, is therefore structurally engaged as a facilitator of the island-wide economy, providing business and industry with a pipeline of core skill sets while readying them to rise to tomorrow＇s economic and human resources （HR） challenges. This paper attempts to highlight this very real trajectory by reporting the lessons learned from Corsica-region CFA UNIV experience.

A Contrastive Study on French and Urhobo Phonological Systems A Case Study of Articles and Demonstrative Structures

It is a general knowledge that French as a language is widely spoken internationally whereas Urhobo is mainly spoken in the geographical location where it belongs. It is also spoken, and this, sparingly so, by Urhobo persons in the Diaspora. Presently, Urhobo has become a language of study at the Delta State University, Abraka. It has also been included in the educational curriculum for study at the lower cadre of secondary school education in the Delta State. This situation has triggered the author＇s interest in doing a contrastive phonological study. The significance of this study is that it will highlight the salient differences in some of the grammatical aspects in the languages under consideration and also identify the difficulties that learners experience as a result of these difficulties. The author will also, as much as it is possible, proffer solutions to these learning difficulties.

Study on the Enlightenment of MOOCs on College English Curriculum Setting

MOOC, as a new means of education informatization, does impact the traditional college English curriculum settings, which needs to adapt to the development trend of online education. Through the analysis of the domestic and foreign literature review, it concludes that our country＇s college English curriculum should introduce more MOOCs, and make international MOOCs become one parts of their own curriculums. Students can choose any English course with their own interests. And college English curriculum teachers should improve their skills and become more specialized to adapt to the new trend of world higher education.

Analysis on the Actual Teaching Effectiveness of Course Ethnic Theory and Policy --School of Preparatory Education for the Minorities of Ningxia University Is Taken for Example

In this paper, many factors restricting and affecting the actual effectiveness of course ethnic theory and policy are summarized, among which student factors mainly include unavailable major foundation, new strange course, and having no idea about how to learn in the short term, narrow knowledge scope because of the examination-oriented education, poor self-control ability and attitude toward learning, and difference among the students of different minorities in the preparatory education, so that the actual teaching effectiveness is different. The teaching contents provided by teachers are not enough scientific, and the teaching pertinence is not strong; all parts of teaching and especially the effectiveness of processing the key and difficult points are not good enough, so that students are guided not very well to actively participate in classroom teaching activities, etc. Subsequently, an analysis is made around integrating and excavating teaching materials, understanding teaching contents, valuing the teaching process, and helping the students of preparatory education change from passively learning knowledge to initiatively accepting knowledge in a targeted way, and then some approaches, methods, and strategies of improving the actual teaching effectiveness of the course are explored.

Research on the New and Innovative Pattern of College Students＇ Ideological and Political Education under the Guidance and Perspective of the Core Values Theory

In this paper, we conduct in-depth research on the new and innovative pattern of college students＇ ideological and political education under the guidance and perspective of the core values theory. Implementation of ideological and political theory course construction will perfect the theory of education system. The dominance of socialist core values embodied in the noble moral and value pursuit of the process, it plays a major guiding role. Universities should give full play to the important role of ideological and political theory and adhere to Marxist theory as a guide and fully carry out the socialist core values education which will hold special meaning for students.

University Students＇ Perceptions of English Teachers＇ Codeswitching in Class

Foreign language teachers＇ codeswitching （CS） between Foreign Language （FL） and Mother Tongue （MT） in class has been under discussion for years. Out of the pedagogical concern, many teaching practitioners conducted various studies in different contexts aiming at describing, quantifying, and interpreting teachers＇ CS between FL and MT in class. However, up till now little attention is paid to students＇ perceptions and understandings of teachers＇ CS, which may help improve educators＇ understanding of the phenomenon in FL classrooms. This paper presents the result of two focus group interviews with groups of Chinese university students at their third and fourth year of college. Following a formal interview outline, issues on students＇ recall, understanding and evaluation of teachers＇ CS are addressed in the interview. Based on the analysis of the interviews, a better understanding on foreign language teachers＇ CS is gained, and students＇ perceptions on teachers＇ purposes and reasons for CS are drawn. A framework for investigating foreign language teachers＇ CS in Chinese universities is proposed with two hypotheses generated.
