An analytical model was developed to predict the large deflections of indention of the sandwich beams with a metal foam core subjected to a concentrated loading. The interaction of plastic bending and stretching in the local deformation regions of the face sheet was considered in the analytical model. Moreover, the effects of the shear strength of the foam core on the indentation behavior were discussed in detail. The finite element simulations were preformed to validate the theoretical model. Comparisons between the analytical predictions and finite element results were conducted and good agreement was achieved. The results show that the membrane force dominates indentation behavior of the sandwich beams when the maximum deflection exceeds the thickness of the face sheet.展开更多

[Method] Using Dongnong 42 and Dongnong 46...[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the effect of inoculation with various rhizobium strains on growth status, phosphorus uptake, yield and quality of soybean plants. [Method] Using Dongnong 42 and Dongnong 46 as experimental soybeans, four treatments were designed, including non-inoculated CK group and three treatment groups inoculated respectively with rhizobium strains R2, R, and Rs, to analysis the effects of rhizobium inoculation on growth status, phosphorus uptake, yield and quality of soybean plants. [Result] Inoculation with different rhizobium strains could significantly increase the biomass and phosphorus content of the roots and shoots of Dongnong 42, to be specific, rhizobium strain R2 showed the best ef- fect, followed by Rs, and those of roots were improved greater than the shoots; in- oculation with rhizobium could significantly increase the yield of Dongnong 42, and R5 showed the best effect, but the yield of Dongnong 46 was decreased; after in- oculated with rhizobium, the protein content and fat content of soybean were signifi- cantly increased, and R2 showed the best effect, but the effects on different varieties varied, to be specific, the protein content of Dongnong 42 was significantly in- creased, while the fat content of Dongnong 46 was significantly increased; different rhizobium strains inoculated to different soybean varieties showed different effects. Inoculation with suitable rhizobium can improve plant growth characteristics, promote phosphorus uptake of plants, increase soybean yield, and effectively improve soy- bean quality. [Conclusion] This study provides theoretical basis for solving the prob- lem of soil phosphorus deficiency, increasing soybean yield and improving soybean quality in the future.展开更多

We calculate the effective pump power absorption ratio along the fiber with different coupling constants from the first cladding to the doped core and with different propagation losses for the power in the inner cladding. Then the gains of the double clad Er-doped fiber amplifiers versus fiber lengths are calculated using the EDFA model based on propagation and rate equations of a homogeneous, two-level medium.展开更多
Cu‐alloyed Pd single‐atom catalysts exhibit excellent catalytic performance for the semi‐hydrogenation of acetylene;however,the limit of the Cu/Pd atomic ratio for forming the alloyed Pd single‐atom catalyst is am...Cu‐alloyed Pd single‐atom catalysts exhibit excellent catalytic performance for the semi‐hydrogenation of acetylene;however,the limit of the Cu/Pd atomic ratio for forming the alloyed Pd single‐atom catalyst is ambiguous.Herein,silica‐supported Cu-Pd bimetallic catalysts with fixed Pd content and varied Cu loadings were synthesized using an incipient wetness co‐impregnation method.The X‐ray absorption spectroscopy results indicated that Pd formed an alloy with Cu after reduction at250°C and that the Pd atoms were completely isolated by Cu for Cu/Pd atomic ratios≥40/1.Notably,increasing the reduction temperature from250to400°C hardly affected the catalytic performances of the Cu-Pd/SiO2catalysts.This finding can be attributed to the similar chemical environments of Pd demonstrated by the X‐ray absorption spectroscopy results.展开更多

The mineral elements were analyzed by the Principal Component Analysis and the Factor Analysis on the SPSS 10.0 and three main factors were picked. The results showed that Se, S and Se-S cooperated application enhanced the garlic nutrition quality by increasing mineral nutrition. The garlic Vc was the highest after using higher Se compared middle S level (S 20 mg/kg soil + Se 40 mg/kg soil). Lower Se level compared middle S level (S 40 mg/kg soil + Se 20 mg/kg soil) get the highest garlic abio-Se in all treatments. The garlic organic Se content was the highest after using higher Se compared middle S (S 40 mg/kg soil + Se 40 mg/kg soil). The treatment lower S compared lower Se level get the highest garlic allicin in all treatment. It showed that the fresh eating factor was affected by the element Se.
