It is concluded that, if a GRIN style fiber-lens is used as a collimator, the maximum of the spot waist can be up to 80μm and the divergence angle of single-mode optical fiber can be reduced by 8 times. If it is applied to a MEMS device, the maximum working distance can be up to 3 mm.展开更多

Six selected primers were used to amplify DNA samples from 85 individuals, and 353 loci were detected. Relatively low genetic diversity was detected in the cultured population (the percentage of polymorphic loci PPL=73.80%, Nei's gene diversity h--0.178 2, Shannon information index I=0.276 9). However, the genetic diversity at the species level was relatively high (PPL-91.78%; h = 0.258 3, I= 0.398 6). The UPGMA tree grouped together the genotypes almost according to their cultured and wild origin, showing distinct differences in genetic structure between wild and cultured populations. The pairwise F^t values confirmed significant genetic differentiation between wild and cultured samples. The cultivated population seems to be low in genetic diversity as a result of detrimental genetic effects in the captive population. The results suggest that ISSR markers are effective for rapid assessment of the degree of diversity of a population, thus giving important topical information relevant to preserving endangered species.展开更多

Indexes were used to analyze the variation of head and facial morphological characteristics with increased age. Results showed that as age increases: (1) Head breadth, minimum frontal breadth, face breadth, interocular breadth, external biocular breadth, lip height, lip thickness, head circumference, auricular height, length-breadth head index, length-height head index, and lip-index values decline significantly in a linear fashion. (2) Nose breadth, mouth breadth, morphological facial height, upper-lip height, physiognomic ear length, physiognomic ear breadth, visor skin-fold, and vertical head-facial index values significantly increase in a linear fashion.展开更多

Though usually characterized by low cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure, some patients with SIH are observed to have normal pressure values. In this study, we aimed to confirm the proportion of patients with normal CSF opening pressure (CSF OP) and explore the factors affecting CSF OP in SIH patients. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 206 consecutive SIH patients and analyzed their clinical and imaging variables (including demographic data, body mass index (BMI), duration of symptoms, and brain imaging findings). Univariate and multiVariate analyses were performed to identify the potential factors affecting CSF OP. Results: In a total of 114 (55.3%) cases the CSF OP was 〈60 mmH2O (1 mmH2O=9.80665 Pa), in 90 (43.7%) cases it was between 60 and 200 mmH2O, and in 2 (1.0%) cases it was 〉200 mmH2O. Univadate analysis showed that the duration of symptoms (P〈0.001), BMI (P〈0.001), and age (P=0.024) were positively correlated with CSF OP. However, multivariate analysis suggested that only the duration of symptoms (P〈0.001) and BMI (P〈0.001) were strongly correlated with CSF OP. A relatively high R2 of 0.681 was obtained for the multivariate model. Conclusions: Our study indicated that in patients without a low CSF OP, a diagnosis of SIH should not be excluded. BMI and the duration of symptoms can influence CSF OP in SIH patients, and other potential factors need further investigation.展开更多

Methods: Nine Chinese and English databases were searched from the inception to May 2017 to identify randomized controlled trials (RCTs) studying tuina therapy for insomnia. The enrolled articles were all RCTs with tuina as the monotherapy or major therapy in the experiment group, with clear diagnostic criteria for primary insomnia well recognized worldwide or in China, and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) as one of the outcome measures. Two researchers evaluated the risk of bias and quality of the enrolled studies by following Cochrane Handbook version 5.1.0. The meta-analysis was performed by RevMan version 5.3. Results: Eleven studies were included with a total of I 076 participants. The Western medication adopted in the control groups were benzodiazepine receptor agonists. The studies were all assessed as high risk of bias for blinding since blinding method was unable to be performed due to the specificity of tuina therapy; no study reported the support of fund or potential interest conflict, so they were all rated unclear for selective reporting. The meta-analysis showed that compared with other traditional Chinese medicine therapies, tuina worked more effectively in reducing the PSQI score (MD=-4.11〈O, 95% confidence interval (CI) -6.01 to -2.22, P〈0.O001); compared with oral administration of Western medication, tuina showed more significant efficacy in reducing the PSQI score (MD=-3.42〈0, 95%CI -5.19 to -1.66, P〈0.O001). Subgroup analysis showed that head tuina alone showed no significant difference compared with oral administration of Western medication regarding the change of PSQI score (MD=-4.19〈O, 95%CI -8.87 to 0.50, P〉0.05); a combination of head and back tuina could more effectively reduce the PSOJ score compared with oral administration of Western medication (MD=-2.08〈O, 95%CI -3.09 to -1.06, P〈0.O001). Conclusion: Tuina can produce more significant efficacy in treating primary insomnia compared with other traditional Chinese medicine therapies and oral administration of Western medication, especially the combination of head and back tuina.展开更多
