We find that in a section of the space-like region po/p ∈ [0.78, 0.95], there are two extremum structures on the dielectric function curve, while the dielectric function in the HTL approximation decreases monotonously without these properties. Through the analyses of the imaginary part of the dielectric function, we conclude that the character of the dielectric function in this region reflects effects of the Landau damping.展开更多

Comparing with the calculated results based on the thermodynamic equilibrium system of quark gluon plasma, it has been found that the quark phase of the chemically equilibrating system gives rise to an even larger enhancement of the dileptons production. Therefore, such an enhancement of dilepton production may signal the formation of quark gluon plasma.展开更多

After considering the energy dependence of the model parameter α in string fragmentation function and adjusting it to the experimental data of charged multiplicity to a certain extent, the model predictions for meson yield, rapidity, and transverse mass distributions are compatible with the experimental data at AGS, SPS and RHIC energies. A calculation for Pb+Pb collisions at LHC energy is given as well. The obtained fractional variable in string fragmentation function shows a saturation in energy dependence. It is discussed that the saturation of fractional variable in string fragmentation function might be a qualitative representation of the energy dependence of nuclear transparency.展开更多

Experimental studies of these reactions can provide an unprecedented range of information on properties of the QGP at high temperatures. We report theoretical investigations of the physics perspectives of heavy-ion collisions at a future high-energy collider. These include initial parton production, collective expansion of the dense medium, jet quenching,heavy-quark transport, dissociation and regeneration of quarkonia, photon and dilepton production. We illustrate the potential of future experimental studies of the initial particle production and formation of QGP at the highest temperature to provide constraints on properties of strongly interaction matter.展开更多
