Method: All literature for menstrual disorder of female university students assessed with symptom checklist-90 (SCL-90) was searched manually in both Chinese and English database. The literature analyzed in this study was published before Dec. 31st, 2023. The data were screened according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, and applied in Meta-analysis using software called Review Manager. Results: The study includes 10 literature and 5850 subjects. The result of Meta-analysis showed: 1) The differences of measurement data by SCL-90 between menstrual disorder and menstruation normal students was reported in 7 literature. The result showed menstrual disorder can significantly increase the scores of mental symptoms (WMD = 0.21, 95%CI (0.17, 0.26), Z = 10.00, P P < 0.00001). Conclusion: The mental health level of female university students with abnormal menstruation is significantly lower than that of female university students with normal menstruation. Universities should build a new model of psychological and physiological education for female college students to improve the quality of their physical and mental health.展开更多
