My present paper is not intended to discuss the topic of identity on the platform of politics, or the postcolonial studies such as transculturation or cultural hybridty. But instead, I am far more interested in locating such issue on the aesthetic dimension of collective memory, which is revealed in two local contemporary Hong Kong compositions. In the process of shaping and reshaping a form of"HongKongeseness" in which the composers tend to create and the local listeners tend to experience, albeit transient, can appear in every nuance of the sonic metaphor embedded in the pre-existing indigenous tunes of a self-contained compositional work.展开更多

Methods: The prognostic value of pathological and molecular margin was studied in 253 cases and 67 cases respectively, the latter were pathological negative margin chosen from the former. Immunohistochemisty was used to detect the expression of eIF4E and p53 proteins. Results: The rate of pathological, p53 and eIF4E positive margins was 20.2%, 19.4% and 32.8% respectively. The recurrent rate of those with positive margins was higher than that of negative margins, which including pathological margin (70.6% vs 35.1%, P =0.0000), p53 margin (69.2% vs 33.3%, P =0.018) and eIF4E margin (63.6% vs 28.9%, P =0.018); The survival rate of those with negative margins was higher than those with positive margins, including pathological margin (the 5-year cumulative survival rate was 37.52% and 64.37% respectively, P =0.0023), p53 margin (the 5-year cumulative survival rate was 24.62% and 75.69% respectively, P =0.0012) and eIF4E margin (the 5-year cumulative survival rate was 43.31% and 77.52% respectively, P =0.0006). Conclusion: The prognosis of those with both pathological and molecular positive margins was worse than that of the negative margins; Both the eIF4E and p53 were useful markers to pick out the poor prognostic patients from those with pathological negative margin, and the former seemed to be more potential.展开更多

Methods: Constructing recombinant expression vector PGL3-DF3-DTA and transfecting it into human breast cancer cells of DF3 positive and negative. By means of RT-PCR to measure the expression of DTA in human breast cancer cells. MTT color-imetry was used to examine the effect of PGL3-DF3-DTA on growth of human breast cancer cells. By experiment on nude mice to observe the killing effect of PGL3-DF3-DTA on human breast cancer cells. Results: Recombinant expression vector PGL3-DF3-DTA was highly expressed in human breast cancer cell line of DF3 positive, and it could kill the human breast cancer cells not only in vitro but also in vivo. Conclusion: Recombinant expression vector PGL3-DF3-DTA could produce specific killing effect on human breast cancer cell line of DF3 positive.展开更多

Methods: Forty-eight mice were equally randomized to 6 groups: (1) normal air group (NA); (2) hyperbaric air group 1 (HA1); (3) hyperbaric air group 2 (HA2); (4) hyperbaric air group 3 (HA3); (5) hyperbaric oxygen group (HO);(6) hyperbaric nitrogen group (HN). Every group was exposed to corresponding pressure for 60 min, twice a day for 3 d. Peritoneal macrophages were obtained at the corresponding time to observe the changes of phagocytosis, acid phos-phatase, antigen presentation function and the produce of NO and TNF-α. Results: Compared with those in NA group, the activity of phagocytosis, acid phosphatase, antigen presentation function and the produce of NO and TNF-a were markedly inhibited in hyperbaric oxygen group and hyperbaric air group 1 ( P < 0.05, P < 0.01) and they changed little in HN group. These changes could disappear in 3 - 5 d. Conclusion: The functions of mice peritoneal macrophages were obviously inhibited in simulated air diving environment and hyperoxia may play an important role in it.展开更多

Based on the previous design analysis and test results, effects of the exit-to-throat width ratio on the performance of the transonic turbine cascade were proposed. In order to investigate the influence of the exit-to-throat width ratio on the performance of the turbine cascade, a flow model of the convergent-divergent turbine cascade was constructed by using the theory of Laval nozzle. Then a method on how to choose the adequate exit-to-throat width ratio for the turbine cascade was proposed. To validate the method, it was used to calculate the adequate exit-to-throat width ratio for the high pressure rotor of the vaneless counter-rotating turbine. The high pressure turbine rotor was redesigned with the new exit-to-throat width ratio. Numerical simulation results show that the isentropic efficiency of the redesigned vaneless counter-rotating turbine under the design condition has increased by 0.9% and the efficiencies under the off-design conditions are also improved significantly. On the original design, a group of compressional waves are created from the suction surface after about 60% axial chord in the high pressure turbine rotor. While on the new design the compressional waves are eliminated. Furthermore, on the original design, the inner-extending waves first impinge on the next high pressure turbine rotor suction surface. Its reflection is strong enough and cannot be neglected. However on the new design the inner-extending waves are weakened or even eliminated. Another main progress is that the redesigned high pressure turbine rotor is of practical significance. In the original rotor, a part of the blade (from 60% axial chord to the trailing edge) is thin leading to the intensity problem and difficult arrangement of the cooling system. In the new design, however, the thickness distribution of the rotor airfoil along the chord is relatively reasonable. The intensity of the rotor is enhanced. It is possible to arrange the cooling system reasonably.展开更多
