In the context of the littlest Higgs (LH) model, we study the process e-γ → veW^-H and calculate the contributions of the LH model to the cross section of this process. The results show that in most of the parameter spaces preferred by the electroweak precision data, the value of the relative correction is larger than 10%. Such correction to the process e-γ →veW^-H is large enough to be detected via e-γ collisions in the future high energy linear e^+ e^- collider (ILC) experiment with the c.m. energy √s = 500 GeV and a yearly integrated luminosity £ = 100fb^-1, which will give an idea/way to test the model.展开更多

In this paper, we study some processes of the BH production associated with the fermion pair at the ILC, i.e., γγ→ ff^- BH. The studies show that the most promising processes to detect BH amongγγ→ ff^- BH are γγ→ l'^+l'^-BH (l' = e,μ), and they can produce the sufficient signals in most parameter space preferred by the electroweak precision data at the ILC. On the other hand, the signal produced via the certain BH decay modes is typical and such signal can be easily identified from the SM background. Therefore, BH, the lightest gauge boson in the LH model, would be detectable at the photon collider realized at the ILC.展开更多

The left incoming anti-self-dual α plane fields are holomorphic, but the right outgoing SD β plane fields are antiholomorphic, meanwhile the diffeomorphism symmetry is preserved with mutual inverse afiine rapidity parameters μ and μ^-1. The Dirac wave function scattering in this background also factorized respectively into the (anti)holomorphic amplitudes. The holomorphic anomaly is realized by the center term of a quasi Hopf algebra corresponding to an integrable conformal affine massive field. We find explicit Nahm transformation matrix (Fourier Mukai transformation) between the Higgs YM BPS (fiat) bundles (1) modules) and the affinized blow up ADHMN twistors (perverse sheafs). Thus we establish the algebra for the 't Hooft Hecke operators in the Hecke correspondence of the geometric Langlands program.展开更多

The Russian thinkers and writers discussing the nature of Russia often return to the motif of Sphinx. Opposed to its ancient Greek archetype-counterpart, "the Russian Sphinx" does not have to resort to intricate questions--he is a riddle himself. As I show and explain, the livelihood and dissemination of the Russia-Sphinx motif in the homeland of Dostoyevski are not incidental. This motif is a synthetic medium of many archetypal contents, which accurately articulate a set of traditional intuitions and imaginations held by the Russians and concerning the alleged essence, nature, or depth of "Russianness". To conclude, I demonstrate the need to make the people comprehending Russia in a similar way aware that the accompanying, the particular--in its basic framework a priori assumed by them--image of the Russian reality is de facto a correlate of their subjective cognitive intention.展开更多
