In total of 20 RAPD primers were tested through multiple regression analysis between amplified strip and the character behaviors, and a correlative segment BFLR-16 was obtained. The correlation coefficient between BFLI-16 and FLT was 0.6144, with the significant level of 1%. BFLI-16 was then cloned, sequenced and transformed into SCAR marker. The percentage of identifying long fiber birches by this SCAR was more than 92. The result indicates that the SCAR markers has high specificity for the long fiber individuals and is highly linked with the gene controlling the character of fiber length, and its existence is significantly correlative with the increase in the fiber length.展开更多

The proposed instrument dimensions are identified based on a questionnaire survey conducted in the US. Based on an extensive review of literature, this paper proposed eight dimensions for measuring overall internet banking service quality and its subsequent effect on customer satisfaction. Also, this research uses American internet banking users as survey targets for its empirical studies. The results show significant relationships among the e-service quality dimensions (efficiency, fulfillment, system availability, privacy, assurance/trust, site aesthetics, responsiveness, and contact), overall internet banking service quality, and customer satisfaction. Little attention has been given in the literature to understanding of the e-service quality dimensions that influence overall internet banking service quality and the specific outcome of customer satisfaction. This paper empirically examines the relationships among the eight e-service quality dimensions, overall internet banking service quality, and customer satisfaction. The findings are important to enable bank managers to have a better understanding of the key e-service quality dimensions of internet banking that affect customer satisfaction. The primary limitations of this study are the scope and size of its sample.展开更多

Flotation and adsorption tests were first studied as a function of initial solution conditions. The results show that electrostatic repulsion between CMC molecules and chlorite surface hinders the approach of the CMC molecules to the chlorite surface and CMC adsorbs to a great extent at high ionic concentration (10-4 mol/L ions as opposed to 0 mol/L ions) or low pH (3 as opposed to 9). The enhanced adsorption density is attributed to the decreased electrostatic repulsion between CMC and mineral surface. The solution condition that yielded the lowest initial adsorbed amount (0 mol/L ions, pH 9) was used as a reference to investigate the response of the adsorbed CMC layer to a switch in solution conditions after adsorption. The two kinds of solution switches (reducing the solution pH or increasing ionic concentration) result in an increased depression effect of CMC on chlorite flotation, as a result of conformational change of CMC pre-adsorbed layer. The change in the flotation recovery of the CMC-coated chlorite following the solution switches is reversible.展开更多

The fibre surface morphology and fibre fineness of Tunisian dromedary hair has been investigated by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM). SEM microscopic method provides the fibre diameter, the scale shape, the scale frequency and scale height. The results show that dehaired dromedary fibre presents a relatively low mean fibre diameter (≈ 17 μm) with a high coefficient of variation (CV ≈ 25%). The scales of the dromedary fibre are on average extremely long and quite visible, they tend not to protrude from the fibre, appear almost convex, and provide a wavy appearance in profile of the relatively coarse fibre. On counting the scale frequency, that is, the number of scale margins within a determined fibre length of 100 μm on the surface of a fine (diameter 〈 30 μm) and coarse (diameter 〉 30 μm) dromedary fibre, comes out roughly five at eight and eight at twelve scale margins, respectively. The mean height of the cuticle scale is 0.12μm and 0.24 μm, respectively, for fine and coarse dromedary fibre. These explain why dromedary fibres present a soft touch due to the prominence of the scale edges. This aspect of the surface structure has a high correlation with the felting capacity of the matter, and contributes to the concepts of handle and gloss.展开更多

Numerical results show that around the wavelength of 1.55 μm, the dispersion deviations of both the PCF with three-fold symmetry core and the PCF with hexagonal lattice are much less than that of the PCF with different hole diameters in different rings. Therefore, the stabilities of nearly zero flattened dispersion of the first two kinds of PCFs are much better than that of the last one. Considering the confinement loss, the PCF with three-fold symmetry core is preferable to practical use.展开更多

The morphology of the untreated and alkali treated fibers was studied by scanning electron microscopic method. The FTIR and chemical analyses indicated lowering of hemi-cellulose content by alkali treatment of the fibers. The X-ray diffraction revealed an increase in crystallinity of the fibers on alkali treatment. The thermal stability of the fibers was found to increase slightly by alkali treatment. The tensile properties of these fibers increased on alkali treatment. The mechanical and other physical properties indicated that these fibers were suitable as reinforcements for making the green composites.展开更多

It was used to treat rice straw and improve the enzymatic hydrolysis of rice straw in this study. The factors influencing the pretreatment were as follows: the dosage of rice straw in [ AMIM ] Cl, crush mesh of rice straw, pretreatment temperature and time. After the pretreatment with a 3 % (the weight ratio of rice straw to ionic liquid) rice straw dosage in [AMIM]Cl at 110 ℃ for 1 h, the yield of reducing sugar of regenerated rice straw by 33 U/mL cellulase hydrolysis was 53.3 %, which was two times higher than that of un-treated rice straw (23.7 % ). More researches regarding straw biorefinery to bacterial cellulose are being performed in the lab and prospective results will be published in near future.展开更多

We assume a fractional Gaussian noise and a white noise through bond and through space coordinates respectively, and introduce the coupling effect coming from both fluctuations and equilibrium variances.
