Lonicerae flos,a widely used traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),has been used for several thousand years in China.As a famous traditional Chinese herbal medicine,it was used as heat-clearing drug and alexipharmic agent and was widely cultivated in Hunan province.L.flos mainly contains biologically active compounds such as caffeic acid derivatives,essential oil,flavonoids,iridoid glycosides and terpenoids.A range of biological activities has been reported from plant extracts including anti-inflammatory,antitumor,antioxidant,antiallergy,immunomodulating and antibacterial activity.In this study,the author investigated ancient books of TCM and nowadays reports,summarized the chemical constituents,biological activity of L.flos to provide a comprehensive systematic review. 展开更多

Use of Otolith Shape for the Identification of Trumpeter Sillago (Sillago maculata) and Silver Sillago(Sillago sihama) 被引量:2

Otolith shape is species-specific in fish.In this study,161 samples of Trumpeter sillago Sillago maculata and 164 of Silver sillago Sillago sihama were collected from Beibu Gulf in July 2009.The main objective of this study was to use morphological variables and Fourier harmonics to describe otolith characteristics and use discriminant analyses to separate the two species.Otoliths were measured by traditional one and two dimensional measures(otolith length,width,diameters,area,perimeter,rectangularity and circularity),as well as by Fourier analysis to capture the finer regions of the otolith.Analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) showed that there was significant correlation between morphological variables(diameter,perimeter,otolith length,otolith width,otolith area,density,harmonics 3,harmonics 4,harmonics 5,harmonics 13,harmonics 15,and harmonics 16) and body length.To minimize size effects on the morphological variables between species,only fish with a body length between 90 and 140 mm were included in the data analysis and the variables which had significant relation with body length were transformed using the residual.The result showed that the accuracy of discriminant analysis was 97.8% and 100% for Trumpeter sillago and Silver sillago,respectively.This high accuracy indicated that otolith shape was described accurately by morphological variables and Fourier harmonics,and discriminant analysis was an effective way to identify and separate the two species. 展开更多

The mechanical decomposing and mechanochemical reductions of silver oxide for preparation of nanocrystalline silver powders by high planetary ball mill was investigated. XRD and HRSEM techniques were used to characterize the structural evolution and morphological changes of products. The results show that the nanostructured silver with an average crystallite size of 14 nm and internal strain of 0.75% is synthesized by mechanical decomposing of Ag2O after 95 h milling. While, the product of mechanochemical reduction of silver oxide using graphite after 22 h milling is nanostructured silver with an average crystallite size of 28 nm and internal strain of 0.44%. 展开更多

Autoimmune diseases are generated through irregular immune response of the human body. Psoriasis is one type of autoimmune chronic skin diseases that is differentiated by T-Cells mediated hyper-proliferation of epidermal Keratinocytes. Dendritic Cells and CD8+ T-Cells have a significant role for the occurrence of this disease. In this paper, the authors have developed a mathematical model of Psoriasis involving CD4+ T-Cells, Dendritic Ceils, CD8+ T-Cells and Keratinocyte cell populations using the fractional differential equations with the effect of Cytokine release to observe the impact of memory on the cell-biological system. Using fractional calculus, the authors try to explore the suppressed memory, associated with the cell-biological system and to locate the position of Keratinocyte cell population as fractional derivative possess non-local property. Thus, the dynamics of Psoriasis can be predicted in a better way using fractional differential equations rather than its corresponding integer order model. Finally, the authors introduce drug into the system to obstruct the interaction between CD4+ T-Cells and Keratinocytes to restrict the disease Psoriasis. The authors derive the Euler-Lagrange conditions for the optimality made through Matlab by developing iterative of the drug induced system. Numerical simulations are schemes. 展开更多
