The mathematical logic model of high arch dam construction ...A method of combining dynamic simulation with real-time control was proposed to fit the randomness and uncertainty in the high arch dam construction process. The mathematical logic model of high arch dam construction process was established. By combining dynamic construction simulation with schedule analysis, the process of construction schedule forecasting and analysis based on dynamic simulation was studied. The process of real-time schedule control was constructed and some measures for dynamic adjustment and control of construction schedule were provided. A system developed with the method is utilized in a being constructed hydroelectric project located at the Yellow River in northwest China, which can make the pouring plan of the dam in the next stage (a month, quarter or year) to guide the practical construction. The application result shows that the system provides an effective technical support for the construction and management of the dam.展开更多
This paper proposes a self-tuning iterative learning control method for the attitude control of a flexible solar power satellite,which is simplified as an Euler-Bernoulli beam moving in space.An orbit-attitude-structu...This paper proposes a self-tuning iterative learning control method for the attitude control of a flexible solar power satellite,which is simplified as an Euler-Bernoulli beam moving in space.An orbit-attitude-structure coupled dynamic model is established using absolute nodal coordinate formulation,and the attitude control is performed using two control moment gyros.In order to improve control accuracy of the classic proportional-derivative control method,a switched iterative learning control method is presented using the control moments of the previous periods as feedforward control moments.Although the iterative learning control is a model-free method,the parameters of the controller must be selected manually.This would be undesirable for complicated systems with multiple control parameters.Thus,a self-tuning method is proposed using fuzzy logic.The control frequency of the controller is adjusted according to the averaged control error in one control period.Simulation results show that the proposed controller increases the control accuracy greatly and reduces the influence of measurement noise.Moreover,the control frequency is automatically adjusted to a suitable value.展开更多

First, the output response and the error transition model ...Based on the two-dimensional (2D) system theory, an integrated predictive iterative learning control (2D-IPILC) strategy for batch processes is presented. First, the output response and the error transition model predictions along the batch index can be calculated analytically due to the 2D Roesser model of the batch process. Then, an integrated framework of combining iterative learning control (ILC) and model predictive control (MPC) is formed reasonably. The output of feedforward ILC is estimated on the basis of the predefined process 2D model. By min- imizing a quadratic objective function, the feedback MPC is introduced to obtain better control performance for tracking problem of batch processes. Simulations on a typical batch reactor demonstrate that the satisfactory tracking performance as well as faster convergence speed can be achieved than traditional proportion type (P- t-we) ILC despite the model error and disturbances.展开更多

The zinc leaching tests in alkaline medium were carried out under variation of leach...Physical and chemical properties of electric arc furnace (EAF) dust from Tianjin seamless Pipe Company were measured and analyzed. The zinc leaching tests in alkaline medium were carried out under variation of leaching agent concentration, leaching temperature, leaching cumulative time and solid-to-liquid ratio. The thermodynamics and kinetics of the zinc leaching process were also analyzed. The results show that the EAF dust contains 10% (mass fraction) zinc and the median particle size is 0.69 μm. The zinc recovery of 73.4% is obtained tinder the condition of 90 ℃, 6 mol/L NaOH, and 60 min leaching time. With the increase of concentration of NaOH and the cumulative time, zinc leaching will be significantly increased. The kinetics study demonstrates that the leaching reaction is chemically controlled and the reaction activation energy is 15.73 kJ/mol.展开更多

Cosmogenic...Cosmogenic Ne isotopes are stable and are routinely used for constraining the timing of events and the rate of surface change beyond the limit that can be studied with radionuclides ^10Be, ^26Al, and ^36Cl. Cosmogenic Ne analysis can be used in quartz and in a range of other minerals. Analysis typically requires significantly less material than do cosmogenic ^10Be and ^26Al, opening up the technique for small samples--individual pebbles in fiver sediments, for example. Analysis is easier and faster than for radionuclides, not least because Ne measurements do not require significant chemical procedures. However, the presence of other sources of Ne in minerals tends to restrict the use of cosmogenic ^21Ne to old landscapes and long exposure durations. In this review we briefly outline the background of cosmogenic Ne production in rocks and minerals at the Earth's surface, then document the key uses of the technique by highlighting some earlier studies, and finish with a short perspective on the future of the technique.展开更多

Two examples are simulated to validate the model, and ...The flow past a primary cylinder with one tandem control rod and one staggered control rod is simulated in this paper through solving the Navier-Stokes equations. Two examples are simulated to validate the model, and the results matched well with those of previous researches. The Reynolds number based on the diameter of the primary cylinder is 500. The diameter ratio between the control rod and the primary cylinder (d/D) is 0.25. It was found that the effect of the combination of one upstream tandem control rod and one staggered control rod on the hydrodynamics of the primary cylinder is a linear superposition of the effect of a corresponding single control rod, and the effect of the upstream tandem control rod is dominant at larger spacing ratios such as G/D=2. For the combination of a downstream tandem control rod and a staggered control rod, the effect of the control rods is different from that of the corresponding single control rod in the region of 0.2〈G/D〈0.5 & 30°〈a〈120° and 0.9〈G/D〈1.4 & 30°〈a〈50°, where the additional effect is obvious. In this case, the effect of the downstream tandem control rod is dominant at small spacing ratios (such as G/D=0.1). At moderate spacing ratios such as G/D=0.4, the effects of the tandem control rod and the staggered control rod are comparable in both cases.展开更多

Results showed that the T6 alloy has the lowest strength and the worst IGC resistance, while the T6I6 alloy has higher strength and better IGC resistance.What’ s more, the alloy treated by pre-rolling deformation has higher strength and better IGC resistance;and the alloy treated by the pre-asymmetry rolling achieves the highest strength, the best IGC resistance and lower elongation. The mechanical properties depend on microstructures such as the grain size, texture, dislocation density and precipitation, the grain boundary misorientation and grain boundary microstructure are responsible for the IGC resistance.展开更多

Such processes are characterized by the operations of batch processes generating periodic strong ...An iterative learning model predictive control (ILMPC) technique is applied to a class of continuous/batch processes. Such processes are characterized by the operations of batch processes generating periodic strong disturbances to the continuous processes and traditional regulatory controllers are unable to eliminate these periodic disturbances. ILMPC integrates the feature of iterative learning control (ILC) handling repetitive signal and the flexibility of model predictive control (MPC). By on-line monitoring the operation status of batch processes, an event-driven iterative learning algorithm for batch repetitive disturbances is initiated and the soft constraints are adjusted timely as the feasible region is away from the desired operating zone. The results of an industrial application show that the proposed ILMPC method is effective for a class of continuous/batch processes.展开更多

We determine these interpretations to be as foll...The article deals with investigating and comparing key modern and postmodern interpretations of St. Francis of Assisi from a philosophical-anthropological perspective. We determine these interpretations to be as follows: a man of wonder and lover of wisdom, in other words, a true philosopher; hero of all times; defender of the poverty and poor; “champion of liberty”; peace-maker and pacifist; God's troubadour; patron of nature and animals. All of these manifestations of St. Francis' personality have been enriched by his Christocentrism and joyful vision. Moreover, this can be traced in primary sources and also echoes in the late modern period. Postmodernity not only incorporated similar motives into the cultural space with new focus and accent, but it also put forward some new visions. St. Francis was postulated as God's Fool, not so much in the medieval as in the postmodern sense of foolishness and madness as a way of interaction with the absurd and puzzle-like world in which we live. It also reconciles traditional opposition between joy and laughter as inner feelings and outward emotions within the frame of the postmodern Divine Comedy.展开更多

With appropriate conditions we show numerically that the dark optical soliton can travel with a ultraslow group velocity Vg/c - -10^-3. Such a semiconductor system is much more practical than its atomic counterpart because of its flexible design and the controllable interference strength. This nonlinear optical process in the SDQW solid-state material may be used for the control technology of optical delay lines and optical buffers.展开更多
Background:Many disease-specific factors such as muscular weakness,increased muscle stiffness,varying postural strategies,and changes in postural reflexes have been shown to lead to postural instability and fall risk ...Background:Many disease-specific factors such as muscular weakness,increased muscle stiffness,varying postural strategies,and changes in postural reflexes have been shown to lead to postural instability and fall risk in people with Parkinson's disease(PD).Recently,analytical techniques,inspired by the dynamical systems perspective on movement control and coordination,have been used to examine the mechanisms underlying the dynamics of postural declines and the emergence of postural instabilities in people with PD.Methods:A wavelet-based technique was used to identify limit cycle oscillations(LCOs) in the anterior–posterior(AP) postural sway of people with mild PD(n = 10) compared to age-matched controls(n = 10).Participants stood on a foam and on a rigid surface while completing a dual task(speaking).Results:There was no significant difference in the root mean square of center of pressure between groups.Three out of 10 participants with PD demonstrated LCOs on the foam surface,while none in the control group demonstrated LCOs.An inverted pendulum model of bipedal stance was used to demonstrate that LCOs occur due to disease-specific changes associated with PD:time-delay and neuromuscular feedback gain.Conclusion:Overall,the LCO analysis and mathematical model appear to capture the subtle postural instabilities associated with mild PD.In addition,these findings provide insights into the mechanisms that lead to the emergence of unstable posture in patients with PD.展开更多

We investigate cooperative behaviors of lattice-embedded scale-free networking agents in the prisoner'sdilemma game model by employing two initial strategy distribution mechanisms,which are specific distribution t...We investigate cooperative behaviors of lattice-embedded scale-free networking agents in the prisoner'sdilemma game model by employing two initial strategy distribution mechanisms,which are specific distribution to themost connected sites (hubs) and random distribution.Our study indicates that the game dynamics crucially dependson the underlying spatial network structure with different strategy distribution mechanism.The cooperators' specificdistribution contributes to an enhanced level of cooperation in the system compared with random one,and cooperationis robust to cooperators' specific distribution but fragile to defectors' specific distribution.Especially,unlike the specificcase,increasing heterogeneity of network does not always favor the emergence of cooperation under random mechanism.Furthermore,we study the geographical effects and find that the graphically constrained network structure tends toimprove the evolution of cooperation in random case and in specific one for a large temptation to defect.展开更多

Along with the development of space science and technology,miniature liquid helium temperature long life cryocooler is a focus subject in cryogenic study.Since it is the precondition of space detection researches,inst...Along with the development of space science and technology,miniature liquid helium temperature long life cryocooler is a focus subject in cryogenic study.Since it is the precondition of space detection researches,institutions of space in many countries do the research on it.In this article,we designed a compound cooling system.A three-stage high frequency thermal coupled pulse tube cryocooler was used to precool a Joule-Thomson(JT)cryocooler.This system has no moving parts at low temperatures and is hence suitable for space operation.Liquid helium temperature was successfully achieved in both open loop and closed cycle experiments.In the closed cycle experiment,when 473 W electric power was inputted,the cooling system reached a no-load temperature of 4.4 K,and a cooling capacity of 11.6 mW was provided at 4.54 K.It is the first miniature liquid helium temperature JT cryocooler in China and the research achievement paves a way for the space application of ultra-long wave infrared detection and THz technologies.展开更多

Results showed that the T6 alloy has the lowest strength and the worst IGC resistance, while the T6I6 alloy has higher strength and better IGC resistance.What’ s more, the alloy treated by pre-rolling deformation has higher strength and better IGC resistance;and the alloy treated by the pre-asymmetry rolling achieves the highest strength, the best IGC resistance and lower elongation. The mechanical properties depend on microstructures such as the grain size, texture, dislocation density and precipitation, the grain boundary misorientation and grain boundary microstructure are responsible for the IGC resistance.

文摘An iterative learning model predictive control (ILMPC) technique is applied to a class of continuous/batch processes. Such processes are characterized by the operations of batch processes generating periodic strong disturbances to the continuous processes and traditional regulatory controllers are unable to eliminate these periodic disturbances. ILMPC integrates the feature of iterative learning control (ILC) handling repetitive signal and the flexibility of model predictive control (MPC). By on-line monitoring the operation status of batch processes, an event-driven iterative learning algorithm for batch repetitive disturbances is initiated and the soft constraints are adjusted timely as the feasible region is away from the desired operating zone. The results of an industrial application show that the proposed ILMPC method is effective for a class of continuous/batch processes.
文摘The article deals with investigating and comparing key modern and postmodern interpretations of St. Francis of Assisi from a philosophical-anthropological perspective. We determine these interpretations to be as follows: a man of wonder and lover of wisdom, in other words, a true philosopher; hero of all times; defender of the poverty and poor; “champion of liberty”; peace-maker and pacifist; God's troubadour; patron of nature and animals. All of these manifestations of St. Francis' personality have been enriched by his Christocentrism and joyful vision. Moreover, this can be traced in primary sources and also echoes in the late modern period. Postmodernity not only incorporated similar motives into the cultural space with new focus and accent, but it also put forward some new visions. St. Francis was postulated as God's Fool, not so much in the medieval as in the postmodern sense of foolishness and madness as a way of interaction with the absurd and puzzle-like world in which we live. It also reconciles traditional opposition between joy and laughter as inner feelings and outward emotions within the frame of the postmodern Divine Comedy.

文摘We demonstrate the formation of ultraslow dark semiconductor double quantum well (SDQW) structure based optical solitons with a four-level scheme in an asymmetric on intersubband transitions by using only a low-intensity pulsed laser radiation. With appropriate conditions we show numerically that the dark optical soliton can travel with a ultraslow group velocity Vg/c - -10^-3. Such a semiconductor system is much more practical than its atomic counterpart because of its flexible design and the controllable interference strength. This nonlinear optical process in the SDQW solid-state material may be used for the control technology of optical delay lines and optical buffers.

文摘Background:Many disease-specific factors such as muscular weakness,increased muscle stiffness,varying postural strategies,and changes in postural reflexes have been shown to lead to postural instability and fall risk in people with Parkinson's disease(PD).Recently,analytical techniques,inspired by the dynamical systems perspective on movement control and coordination,have been used to examine the mechanisms underlying the dynamics of postural declines and the emergence of postural instabilities in people with PD.Methods:A wavelet-based technique was used to identify limit cycle oscillations(LCOs) in the anterior–posterior(AP) postural sway of people with mild PD(n = 10) compared to age-matched controls(n = 10).Participants stood on a foam and on a rigid surface while completing a dual task(speaking).Results:There was no significant difference in the root mean square of center of pressure between groups.Three out of 10 participants with PD demonstrated LCOs on the foam surface,while none in the control group demonstrated LCOs.An inverted pendulum model of bipedal stance was used to demonstrate that LCOs occur due to disease-specific changes associated with PD:time-delay and neuromuscular feedback gain.Conclusion:Overall,the LCO analysis and mathematical model appear to capture the subtle postural instabilities associated with mild PD.In addition,these findings provide insights into the mechanisms that lead to the emergence of unstable posture in patients with PD.
文摘With the rapid development of network, the phenomenon of Internet addiction is prevalent on campuses, which has produced a variety of negative effects on college students in terms of learning, living, working and so on. In recent years, there are many research literatures on Internet addiction overseas, covering all aspects of this psychological phenomenon. Moreover, domestic research on Internet addiction started late. In the light of the fact that college students do not have clear understanding on hazards of Interact addiction, it generally shows their self- control is poor. They do not believe they can control their behavior and results and give up taking responsibility for the results and tend to agree network identity. Based on this phenomenon, we propose the network psychological source control concept. In view of the close contact between the excessive use of the network and the individual time management, this study selected the time dimension of personality characteristics on Internet addiction as another influencing factor, and explored the integrated influence of the psychological source control to Internet addiction.
文摘We investigate cooperative behaviors of lattice-embedded scale-free networking agents in the prisoner'sdilemma game model by employing two initial strategy distribution mechanisms,which are specific distribution to themost connected sites (hubs) and random distribution.Our study indicates that the game dynamics crucially dependson the underlying spatial network structure with different strategy distribution mechanism.The cooperators' specificdistribution contributes to an enhanced level of cooperation in the system compared with random one,and cooperationis robust to cooperators' specific distribution but fragile to defectors' specific distribution.Especially,unlike the specificcase,increasing heterogeneity of network does not always favor the emergence of cooperation under random mechanism.Furthermore,we study the geographical effects and find that the graphically constrained network structure tends toimprove the evolution of cooperation in random case and in specific one for a large temptation to defect.
文摘With the development of manned spaceflight, more and more researches are involved in the area of gravitation physiology. When astronauts are exposed to microgravity, a series of special physiological or pathological changes will occur, which will start self-regulation mechanisms to reduce abnormalities and help the organism to better adapt to microgravity. However, these adaptive changes may also induce degradation or damage to physiological functions. This paper summarizes the physiological effects of microgravity on the human body from the aspects of skeletal and mineral metabolism, muscle structure and function, vestibular functions, cardiovascular function and pulmonary function, as well as expounds some commonly used ground-based space analogies. The paper will provide a reference for further study on the physiological effects of microgravity.

文摘Cross-flows around two,three and four circular cylinders in tandem,side-by-side,isosceles triangle and square arrangements are simulated using the incompressible lattice Boltzmann method with a second-order accurate curved boundary condition at Reynolds number 200 and the cylinder center-to-center transverse or/and longitudinal spacing 1.5D,where D is the identical circular cylinder diameter.The wake patterns,pressure and force distributions on the cylinders and mechanism of flow dynamics are investigated and compared among the four cases.The results also show that flows around the three or four cylinders significantly differ from those of the two cylinders in the tandem and side-by-side arrangements although there are some common features among the four cases due to their similarity of structures,which are interesting,complex and useful for practical applications.This study provides a useful database to validate the simplicity,accuracy and robustness of the Lattice Boltzmann method.

文摘By introducing a deadwzone scheme, a new neural network based adaptive iterative learning control (ILC) (NN-AILC) scheme is presented for nonlinear discrete-time systems, where the NN weights are time-varying. The most distinct contribution of the proposed NN-AILC is the relaxation of the identical conditions of initial state and reference trajectory, which are common requirements in traditional ILC problems. Convergence analysis indicates that the tracking error converges to a bounded ball, whose size is determined by the dead-zone nonlinearity. Computer simulations verify the theoretical results.

文摘Along with the development of space science and technology,miniature liquid helium temperature long life cryocooler is a focus subject in cryogenic study.Since it is the precondition of space detection researches,institutions of space in many countries do the research on it.In this article,we designed a compound cooling system.A three-stage high frequency thermal coupled pulse tube cryocooler was used to precool a Joule-Thomson(JT)cryocooler.This system has no moving parts at low temperatures and is hence suitable for space operation.Liquid helium temperature was successfully achieved in both open loop and closed cycle experiments.In the closed cycle experiment,when 473 W electric power was inputted,the cooling system reached a no-load temperature of 4.4 K,and a cooling capacity of 11.6 mW was provided at 4.54 K.It is the first miniature liquid helium temperature JT cryocooler in China and the research achievement paves a way for the space application of ultra-long wave infrared detection and THz technologies.
