关于大学生“即学就忘”的调查与对策分析

对于课堂教学,大学生时常陷入“即学就忘”的困境,为此我们组织进行了一次专项调查。从“即学就忘”程度的大小、导致“即学就忘”的因素、对不同知识的掌握到是否采取措施,进行了调查和深入分析,并提出了几点建议。

"Labor Shortage" or "Difficult Employment":A Study on the Employment Problem of College Students from the Perspective of Demographic Dividend

[Objective] The aim was to analyze the phenomenon of employment diffi- culty and labor shortage, and to reveal the influencing factors of employment difli- culty and labor shortage. [Method] On the basis of the economic principle of popu- lation dividend, the use of human resources and natural resource constraints The IS-LM model describes these two states. [Results] The resource constraints have a ＂squeeze＂ effect on the demographic dividend, and employment pressure is shown in terms of the population opportunity window; the labor market segmentation, the ir- rational industrial structure, the backward curriculum and employment concept are the main factors affecting employment and labor shortage. [Conclusion] The way to solve this dilemma must be removed from the division of labor market, the adjust- ment of industrial structure, the setting of university specialty, the change of em- ployment concept of university graduates as well as the improvement of the quality of labor.

An Outline of Dai Xu's Mathematical Achievements

This present paper deals with the main methematical achievements of Dai Xu,a famous mathematician of the Qing Dynasty:Dai Shi Series Numbers, Dai Shi lterative Method,Kai Ji Duo Wei Jiu-Cheng-Fang Method and the Relationship between Exponents and Logarithms etc.,which have been ignored by former research workers.The paper also puts forward different understandings from the past research at the following points:the Artificial Logarithm, the Formula for Changing Base, the Binomial Theorem and so on.

Non-agricultural Population, Employment and Land:An Econometric Study in an Integrated Framework

Abstract： his paper explored the relationships among nonagricultural population, employment and land in an integrated framework, taking account of rural-urban land conversion into Carlino-Mills＇s model on the regional growth. Two-stage-leastsquares and ordinary-least-squares were employed. Recent data for district （grade） cities in China （from 1999 to 2005） were used. Our results showed that： first, urban population influenced non-agricultural employment, and vice versa, but the evidence that non-agricultural employment influenced urban population was stronger than the evidence that urban population influenced non-agricultural employment; second, urban population and non-agricultural employment both influenced ruralurban land conversion, but the evidence that urban population influenced rural urban land conversion was more stronger than the evidence that non-agricultural employment did. We also found that： first, the employment from the secondary industry influenced urban population in a positive way, and vice versa, but the employment from the tertiary industry influenced urban population in a negative way, and vice versa; second, the employment from the secondary industry influenced rural-urban land conversion in a positive way, but the employment from the tertiary industry influenced rural-urban land conversion in a negative way. We can conclude that the key of urbanization is to speed up the process of non-agricultural employment, especially the employment from the tertiary industry, which might promote non-agricultural population, employment and land harmoniously.

Characteristics of Science and Scientific Activities： Considerations about What Is and What Is Not Scientific

The paper deals with non-traditional but highly needed issues： to formulate criteria of a scientific activity. It is really unbelievable that in the period of information and scientific society such criteria do not exist and there are no fixed rules for assessment of scientific activities. However, in many fields of science, e.g., in reviews of scientific works or papers, reviewers are asked to assess whether or not the submitted work or text is scientific. Naturally, this decision is not objective even if done by leading scientific individuals. Scientists may possess rather different individual criteria, and especially in doctoral studies, but not only there, it is desirable to make the review more objective. A doctoral thesis should be accepted only in case it brings some scientific achievement. Keeping in mind how difficult it can be to formalize and evaluate science, the authors try to propose attributes of scientific activities and to formulate some basic recommendations how to assess scientific work. Of course, the paper does not intend to formulate any generally imperative rules, but rather to start a broader discussion of these topics.

As a result of the college expansion, the university students＇ employment situation is very grim. Research on Human Capital and Higher Education Based on the Perspective of Employment of College Students

The status of human capital should match economic development. Researching the unemployment of college students firstly needs to know about the economic development stage and economic structure in China. Employment of college students not only is the problem of unbalanced supply and demand of college students, but also has close relationship with supply-demand relationship of higher education market. Employment of college students has relationship with two markets, education market and labor market, in which higher education supply is middle. For two markets, the decision-making subject make the optimal decision according to the principle that marginal income is equal to marginal cost. Under the specific economic development stage and economic structure in China, the family has greater requirement on higher education in education market, and the supply of higher education is insufficient. For labor market, economic development is difficult to fully absorb the existing college graduates, and the supply of higher education is excess. The imbalance of two markets causes the increase of supply pressure of higher education and idle human resource.

A Survey Report about the General Situation of the Students in Adult Higher Medical Education

This survey was implemented, so that the general situation of the students in adult higher medical education is more accurately and comprehensively known, and also adult education and teaching work can be developed in a targeted way. 193 students attending adult education junior college participated in this survey, and the surveyed details included the general situation of student sources, the ideological trends, and the degree of the cognition on the majors, the degree of the recognition on teaching, the employment concept, and the problems in the current jobs. By a statistical analysis, a foundation is further laid for the effective work of adult higher medical education.

Correlation between the senses of achievement and students＇ motivations at tertiary level in China

Educators and teachers generally agree that a major variable affecting students learning L2 or FL is motivation. This paper discusses the correlation between increasing the sense of achievement and sustaining students＇ motivations in a Chinese cultural setting, in which language learning should not be understood in terms of North American and Western cultural values. Considering EFL or ElL situations at a tertiary education level in China's Mainland, the author thinks that for university students, we should consider this issue in another way and concludes that, from the adults＇ psychological perspective, the sense of achievement, more than any other factor, plays the most important role in sustaining students＇ motivations, thus contributing greatly to the whole process of learning. Therefore, it should be viewed as a very useful and effective method to maintain students＇ motivations. Based on this idea, the author strongly suggests that while they are capitalizing on some effective methods or strategies to foster and maintain their students＇ motivations, EFL or ElL teachers should try every means and utilize any occasion to ensure that students can feel their achievement and see progress during the advanced level of learning, thus guaranteeing they will keep expending energy and effort in continued learning.

The Application of English Songs in Higher Vocational College English Teaching

Due to the arrival of the era of globalization, English has become an important foreign language in China. People with high English proficiency have more opportunities and better competitiveness in the global job market. Therefore, more and more people attach importance to learn English. English songs play an important role in English teaching and they have been used as teaching materials in the field of language learning for a long time They can not only effectively stimulate students＇ interest in learning but also improve the quality and efficiency of English teaching. This instruction can enhance learners＇ motivation, learning attitude, and the comprehension of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Some linguists believe that they can affect one＇s language learning abilities. Thus, more and more teachers and researchers try to find out how the English songs can improve the learners＇ English level. So, this paper aims to explore how to apply English songs to higher vocational English teaching.

Students＇ Withdrawal of Teacher＇s Deposited Knowledge in Teacher-Dominated Classroom Talk

Prior studies on classroom discourse research often concluded that a teacher＇s control of classroom interaction greatly affected his/her students＇ response to classroom talk. Students as academic novices are often expected to accept the teacher＇s deposited knowledge for academic achievement in traditional school contexts. Given little attention being paid to their withdrawal of teacher＇s deposited knowledge for use as meaning-negotiation, this study observes one academically-irrelevant curriculum context----one free and non-compulsory adult Chinese class offered by one local Taiwan Residents government to its foreign residents--to know whether the students＇ motivation for responding to classroom talk is still affected much by the teacher＇s dominance of classroom talk. It employs Courtney Cazden＇s I-R-E （teacher-initiation, student-response, and teacher-evaluation） classroom talk model and Paulo Freire＇s banking education metaphor as theoretical frameworks to discuss the classroom power relations reflected on the students＇ withdrawal of the teacher＇s deposited knowledge. The findings show that when the students＇ academic achievement is not the instructional objective, the teacher＇s thematic control, affects the students＇ motivation for responding more than his/her control of classroom interaction. It concludes that a classroom talk highlighting the students＇ interest activates their participation and allows the instructor to gain access to the students＇ knowledge, values, attitudes, and perceptions.

Seroepidemiology of hepatitis A virus in Kuwait

AIM: To fi nd the current seroepidemiology of hepatitis A virus (HAV) in Kuwait.METHODS: A total of 2851 Kuwaitis applying for new jobs were screened.RESULTS: HAV-positive cases were 28.8%; 59% were males and 41% were females. The highest prevalence was in the Ahmadi area. High prevalence was among the group of non-educated rather than educated parents. This is the fi rst study in Kuwait demonstrating the shifting epidemiology of HAV.CONCLUSION: This study reflects the need of the Kuwaiti population for an HAV vaccine.

Forecasting China's Labor Supply and Demand and the Unemployment Structure in the 13th Five-Year-Plan Period

The changes in labor supply and demand are important factors affecting economic growth.The purpose of this paper is to predict and analyze the trends in China's labor supply and demand during the 13 th Five-Year Plan period and the longer period in the future.The scale and structure of the annual new entrants of labor force are predicted by accounting the numbers who are leaving from various stages of education.while trends of labor demand are predicted according to employment elasticity from the experience of industrialization of developed countries. The results show that, during the 13 th FiveYear Plan period.the scale of the new added labor would decrease slightly, with an average annual increment of around 15.68 million. At the same time.labor demand would increase steadily, with annually 15.42 million employment opportunities. Labor supply and demand would be roughly balanced; however,there would be increasing structural contradictions of the labor market.Based on the analysis of labor supply and demand,we provide an estimation of the unemployment scale of the 40's and 50's generations,migrant workers and college graduates,and discuss policy suggestions on promoting employment of college graduates.

Analysis on Constructing College Students＇ Employment Ability Influence Factor Model

It makes an empirical study of college students＇ employment ability and influence factor situation. Based on the questionnaire of 388 graduates of different subjects, through the explorative Ihctors and confirmatory factor analysis, it finds that the college students＇ employment ability influence factor model includes employment quality and employment expectation of 13 factors, and the model fitting is better. The employment ability influence factor model of college students is good for university education, enterprise recruitment strategy adjustment and students＇ self development.
