目的通过考察相关历史资料,对著名数学家曾炯(1897—1940)的生平、成就和影响进行较系统的整理和分析。方法文献考证与概念分析。结果曾炯在德国留学期间,得到哥廷根大学代数学派的灵魂人物E.诺特(E.Noether,1882—1935)和汉堡大学代数... 目的通过考察相关历史资料,对著名数学家曾炯(1897—1940)的生平、成就和影响进行较系统的整理和分析。方法文献考证与概念分析。结果曾炯在德国留学期间,得到哥廷根大学代数学派的灵魂人物E.诺特(E.Noether,1882—1935)和汉堡大学代数学家E.阿廷(E.Artin,1898—1962)的真传,学习并掌握了当时先进的抽象代数学,先后发表3篇重要论文,建立以其名字命名的曾定理和曾层次。回国后,先后在浙江大学、天津北洋大学-国立西安临时大学-国立西北联合大学-国立西北工学院和国立西康技艺专科学校任教。结论曾炯的曾定理与曾层次不仅奠定了多数超越扩张的布饶尔群的基础和使希尔伯特第17问题的定量性解决获得历史性突破,而且使中国数学在20世纪30年代进入世界主流数学领域,并拉近了与国际前沿高等数学教育的距离。 展开更多

The reactions of cationic zirconium oxide clusters (ZrxOy^+) with ethylene (C2H4) were investigated by using a time-of-flight mass spectrometer coupled with a laser ablation/supersonic expansion cluster source. Some hydrogen containing products (ZrO2)xH^+(x=-1-4) were observed after the reaction. The density functional theory calculations indicate that apart from the common oxygen transfer reaction channel, the hydrogen abstraction channel can also occur in (ZrO2)x^++C2H4, which supports that the observed (ZrO2)xH^+ may be due to (ZrO2)x^++C2H4→(ZrO2)xH^++C2H3. The rate constants of different reaction channels were also calculated by Rice-Rarnsberger-Kassel-Marcus theory. 展开更多

One of the most important tools in film analysis is "segmentation", as defined by the major film theorist Christian Metz, with the help of the "great syntagmatic" (Grande Syntagmatique); an array, which will guarantee the classification of any kind of shot in any kind of film and its consequent decoding. The division into sections allowed a clinical approach of high validity, highlighting the hidden rhymes, the power of repetition, the underlying pulses of the film, "decoding", in a way, their soul; in essence their meaning. However, by the mid-1970s, the semiotics of cinema was considered outdated and unrealistic, mainly because it failed to solve a problem to which it was believed that it held the key to guarantee the "translation" of any abstract cinematic form. In this text, we attempt to explore what semiotics can do today and how far "segmentation" can take us in the face of a particularly "opaque" film, which is made of fragments of impressions, disparate elements and contrasts, such as The Tree of Life (2011) by Terrence Malick. 展开更多

How Hermann Weyl Could Deal with Paul Benacerraf's (1973) Challenge to Realism?

Christopoulou Demetra(In his work, Hermann Weyl (1926) addresses the issue of abstraction principles, an issue that has been broadly discussed during the last decades with regard to the Neo-Fregean program. This paper aims to show off the way Weyl's account of abstraction could offer a reply to Benacerraf's (1973) challenge to realism. Benacerraf argued that mathematical realism is not associated with a plausible epistemology about human access to abstract objects. Weyl deals with the method of abstraction by investigating certain cases of Fregean abstraction principles. He thinks that we can introduce shapes of geometrical images, integers mod m, circles, directions of lines etc. by means of certain creative acts of consciousness, especially intentionality towards proper relations between the elements of an initial domain. Weyl puts emphasis on intentions towards certain invariant characteristics of items that are involved in equivalence relations. Further, he claims that those invariants are transformed into ideal objects through a finite process that is involved in intuition. This paper, in the first place, attempts to make explicit Weyl's phenomenological leanings. Secondly, it argues that Weyl's explanation of how ideal mathematical objects become present to mind can address the epistemic issue concerning mathematical knowledge and can also be associated with a particular view which is implicit in his philosophy and retains realistic elements. Graphic design must rely on the sense of innovation, combined with the image of abstract thinking; ideas can really create unique designs. Therefore, to enhance training in graphic design innovative design capabilities, innovation and the development of graphic design is an important issue.
