随着经济的发展,快节奏的生活给当代大学生带来了紧张和压迫感,而一些大学生也由于各类问题容易出现自卑、焦虑、低落等消极情绪。因此,大学生身心健康状况是社会广泛关注的重要问题之一。鉴于此,本文主要通过对阜阳师范学院部分学生进行问卷调查,借助于模糊数学的方法,综合评价大学生的身心健康,给出确定因数集等评判矩阵和权重的方法进行处理,得出合理客观的结论。

Identity Construction in Academic Writing of Student Writers Who Use English as an Additional Language:A Literature Review

Academic writing is social interaction between writer and reader,during which writers can employ discursive and non-discursive features to construct their identities.However,many student writers who are users of English as an additional language(EAL)may find it challenging to construct their identities in academic writing.Properly constructed identity in academic writing can help EAL student writers develop a stronger sense of self,exercise their agency,and negotiate the academic discourse.Therefore,this paper reviews empirical studies on EAL student writers'identity construction when they write in English to investigate the features of identities that EAL student writers construct in texts and the factors that influence their identity construction.The findings show that,compared with expert writers and native-English-speaking(NES)counterparts,EAL student writers tend to present a weak authorial identity.Furthermore,EAL student writers tend to be more engaged with texts than with readers and lack commitment to their claims.The identities that EAL student writers construct in academic writing are also interwoven with EAL students'English proficiency levels,educational experience,disciplinary conventions,genre affordances,and audience awareness.The findings of this literature review can help teachers and educators raise EAL students’identity awareness and facilitate students in strategically constructing writer identities in academic writing.

The effects on students＇ physical and mental health of colleges and universities carrying out ideological and political education

In the background of modem education, ideological and political education and health education in universities play an important part in quality education. In higher education, ideological and political education and health education plays a role in their respective fields. Ideological and political education determines socialist direction of education and promotes the development of quality education. Mental health education starting from individual students, which improves student＇ s personality, promotes the comprehensive development of students; further promote the development of quality education. We can say that physical and mental health education and ideological and political education are supplementary to each other as well as enrich and expand health education, ideological and political education.

Spontaneous regression of pancreatic cancer: Real or a misdiagnosis?

Spontaneous tumor regression has been subject of numerous studies and speculations for many years. This phenomenon is exceptional, but well reported, in some types of tumors, but not in pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer has the worst five-year survival rate of any cancer. Despite numerous molecular studies and clinical approaches, using several mouse models, this cancer responds poorly to the existing chemotherapeutic agents and progress on treatment remains elusive. Although pancreatic cancer tumors seldom undergo spontaneous regression, and some authors take that with skepticism, there are some cases reported in the literature. However, the variability in the description of the reports and technical details could make this process susceptible to misdiagnosis. Distinguishing between different types of pancreatic carcinoma should be taken with caution as they have wide differences in malignant potential. Diseases such as pancreatic benign tumors, insulinomas, or autoimmune pancreatitis could be responsible for this misdiagnosis as a pancreatic cancer. Here we review different cases reported, their clinical characteristics, and possible mechanisms leading to spontaneous regression of pancreatic cancer. We also discuss the possibilities of misdiagnosis.

Study on the Impact of ＂Health Qigong. WuQinxi＂ on the Physical Health of the University Students

This study based on documents and materials, interview, experiment and data statistical analysis, as well as by the means of ＂Health Qigong.WuQinxi＂, and carries on a 4-month exercise intervention aiming at the university students, furthermore to have a comparison of their level scores on physical shape, physiological indicator, before and after the experiment. And we come to a conclusion through this 4-month exercise, when concerns to physical shape and physiological indicator： we can see a significant difference on WHR body mass index and vital capacity （p≤ 0.01）; as well as waist circumference, pulse, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, sit and reach, grip strength （p ≤ 0.05）. So we note that long-term ＂Health Qignng .WuQinxi＂ practice can improve the physical health of the university students, and assess the students who failed to meet health standards physically, and fmally realize our hope promoting the comprehensive development of university students.

The related research on the college counselors in the education and management of the college students in the new period

The college students are in the period when their outlook on life and world outlook are gradually mature, and when their intellectual culture tends to be mature, so the education and management on the university students is extremely important. As the college counselors, in the new period, how can we implement the tasks in the college education and management？ In view of this, this paper carries on the analysis in the three aspects of the positioning of the roles of the college counselors, the challenges the college counselors face in the new period, and the countermeasures to improve the status quo of education and management of the college counselors on the college students in the new era, in order to promote the development of the physical and mental health of the university students.

Being Chinese in Lived Intercultural Experiences:A Discourse Analysis of Chinese Undergraduates’Perceptions of Chinese Culture

The current study investigates a group of Chinese undergraduates’perceptions of Chinese culture.It examines the discourses that the students drew on to assign meaning to Chinese culture and how the students used these discourses in constructing their Chinese cultural identity.A qualitative study was conducted collecting written self-reflective reports on critical intercultural incidents from 39 Chinese undergraduates at a university in Beijing.Questions designed to evoke reports from the students had them describe incidents in their past intercultural experiences that made them acutely aware of themselves“being Chinese”and specify aspects of Chinese culture that they felt such awareness could be attributed to.A discourse analysis reveals the multiplicity and contextuality of the students’notions of Chinese culture.The findings raise important considerations for contemporary Chinese undergraduates’cultural identity and their much debated“identity crisis.”

Triptolide inhibits IL-12 production and T cell-stimulatory capacity of dendritic cells

Triptolide is a natural, biologically active component derived from Chinese herb Tripterygium Wilfordii Hook F. (TWHF) which is effective in the clinical treatment of autoimmune diseases, however, the mechanisms by which triptolide exerts immunosuppression remain fully understood. The primary of this study is to demonstrate whether triptolide can affect phenotype, cytokine production and allogeneic T cell-stimulatory capacity of dendritic cells (DCs) which are critical in the induction of immune response or tolerance. Phenotypic analysis show that triptolide does not affect the expression of MHC (Ia b), CD80, CD86 and CD40 of DC stimulated with or not LPS, but significantly inhibits IL-12p70 production by DC in a dose-dependent manner. Triptolide-treated DCs exhibit a reduced capacity to stimulate proliferation of allogeneic CD4 + T lymphocytes. Therefore, triptolide-mediated immunosuppression may due, in part, to the inhibition of IL-12p70 production and impairment of allogeneic T cell-stimulatory capacity of DCs. Our results may provide a possible mechanistic explanation for the effectiveness of triptolide in the treatment of autoimmune diseases.

Study on the Current Physical Quality of Modem College Students and the Countermeasures

In recent years, the unexpected accidents of college students have occurred frequently in the playground. A student in Shanghai Sanda University suddenly fell at tile basketball class at the end of last year. In the same month, a male student in Shanghai East China University fell on the ground when taking part in the physical test of lkm running, and then passed away after the rescue was not valid. In this paper, the physical quality of the current college students is discussed on the basis of studying college students＇ quality education. This study is expected to play a role in reference.

Adult Education and Training in Portugal： A Multi-case Study Focused on Autobiographical Experiences

In our actual framework of constant social and cultural changing, we are witnessing a transformation of the adults＇ patterns and pathways of life. Currently, people＇s lives cannot be analyzed using a macro-perspective, marked by partitioning phases, but the various stages we undergo from childhood to the third age are being overlapped and this is reflected with particular relevance in the field of learning, where the notion of lifelong learning is present in our personal, social and professional everyday contexts, in Portugal, the New Opportunities Initiative is building new and innovative education and training pathways, which privilege the autobiographical methods, where adults, from their life stories, are challenged to resort to new ways of valuing their experiences, potentiating the acquisition of new skills, in a logic of personal, social and professional empowerments. This formative/training logic has shown to be the promoter of a growing autonomy from the adults. We will present, here, the qualitative multi-case study we are developing in this area, which is centered on adults＇/professionals＇ autobiographies and focuses on the understanding of adult education, lifelong learning and on the analysis of the mediation figures associated with them.

Study on the Research and Application of Network Teaching Courseware in Aerobics in Colleges and Universities

Aerobics teaching in colleges and universities is the most important part of higher education, and the important means to carry out quality-oriented education and cultivate all-round developed talents. The reform of aerobics teaching in colleges and universities should be geared to the demands of the times, and explore new innovation and continual development. In this paper, using the research methods of documentation, courseware development, teaching experiment and mathematical statistics, we study on the making and application of college aerobics network teaching courseware. It is revealed that, with the combination of modem network technology and college aerobics teaching, the resulted college aerobics network teaching courseware is the important media to not only upgrades college aerobics teaching quality, but also help develop students＇ habits of doing physical exercise, and promote physical health. Therefore, this is meaningful and practical in promoting the education of college students in physical quality development.

The Tree of Death and Eternal Life

The ＂Tree of Death＂ is a metaphor I use to unlock my Christian assumptions on how the dead attain eternal existence in the afterlife state. The tree＇s unconcealedness, in this life and presumably the next, along with the moral habits an agent develops in this life explain the obstinacy of the dead, that is, how the agent＇s irrevocable decision to side with the God of Abraham, or not, is possible. For that to be the case, the existential relationships that generate personal identity in this life must accompany （individuate） the subject in the next life. In Christian philosophy, the person-making process mirrors the relationships of the Blessed Trinity. While Martin Heidegger is not a Christian philosopher, his view on truth and being＇s unconcealedness provides a useful piece of the argument to continue the Thomistic case for personal immortality. Heidegger is not a catholic philosopher, but the focus he places on being＇s unconcealedness is consonant with the focus Thomas Aquinas puts on the intelligibility of being. While Heidegger＇s discussion of being is rooted in Dasein＇s finitude, the Thomistic interpretation of being situates unconcealedness within the perspective of God＇s creative act. His vision resets the possibility of applying Heidegger＇s fundamental ontology beyond temporality. The paper develops through a discussion of the Tree＇s ＂branches, trunk, and roots＂ to conclude that the Christian perspective transforms Heidegger＇s view of death into ＂the ultimate possibility of possibility.＂

The study of effects of tai chi chuan on physical health and mental health of college students

B cells biology in systemic lupus erythematosus—from bench to bedside

Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) is a debilitating autoimmune disease that can involve multi-organs. B cells play a central role in the immunopathogenesis via antibody-dependent and antibody-independent ways. Excessive autoantibodies production, hyperresponsiveness and prolonged survival of autoreactive B cells are characteristics of SLE. In this article, mechanisms of self-tolerance loss of B cells and promising B cell-targeting therapies in lupus are reviewed and discussed.

Tetrahymena Gene Expression Database (TGED):A resource of microarray data and co-expression analyses for Tetrahymena

Tetrahymena thermophila is a model eukaryotic organism. Functional genomic analyses in Tetrahymena present rich opportunities to address fundamental questions of cell and molecular biology. The Tetrahymena Gene Expression Database (TGED; available at http://tged.ihb.ac.cn) is the first expression database of a ciliated protozoan. It covers three major physiological and developmental states: growth, starvation, and conjugation, and can be accessed through a user-friendly web interface. The gene expression profiles and candidate co-expressed genes for each gene can be retrieved using Gene ID or Gene description searches. Descriptions of standardized methods of sample preparation and the opportunity to add new Tetrahymena microarray data will be of great interest to the Tetrahymena research community. TGED is intended to be a resource for all members of the scientific research community who are interested in Tetrahymena and other ciliates.

Modern quantum theories and experimental achievements motivate new exploration of acupuncture in traditional Chinese medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）, a theoretical medical system founded about three thousand years ago, originated from the richness of Chinese culture with the support and development of ancient astronomy and philosophy. It has illuminated many mysteries of nature and the human body. This has not always been easy for the layperson to understand. In modern times, some of these processes have been gradually discovered or confirmed by frontier science. The experiments of quantum physics have shaken the fundamental concepts of conventional science, refuting criticism of Chinese culture and TCM theories. The new discoveries have triggered a new understanding of TCM theories. For example, the theory of quantum mechanics interfering with certain human functions helps explain a series of phenomena that were previously difficult to understand. The veil of many wonderful phenomena of Chinese culture and TCM acupuncture has not yet been fully pierced. For example, the body＇s energy system, the invisible qi, and the phenomenon of consciousness and subconscious function remain mysterious. However, quantum theory and numerous scientific experiments can lead to the explanations of difficult problems which were not understood in the past. For example, the nature of the changes in yin and yang, and associated principles; the five-element principles; consciousness and sub-consciousness which might affect scientific experiments and treatment outcomes; the objective existence of qi and qi field; and the essence of the meridian system in the human body and the principles of acupuncture. This article explores the scientific principles of TCM and acupuncture. The unique characteristics of TCM and acupuncture position themselves as Eastern cultural treasures. The authors endeavor to strengthen readers＇ confidence in theoretical TCM and believe that it is a major step in integrating TCM acupuncture into modern science and medicine.

Qi,Time and Acupuncture

There is a strong relation among qi, time, and acupuncture. This relation is so close, that it can be said it is of yin-yang nature. Qi stands for yin, time for yang. This fact and its application in acupuncture are known since the times, the Huang Di Nei Jing （Yellow Emperor＇s Inner Canon） was written. The theory of time-related acupuncture, referred to as traditional Chinese chronotherapeutics or chronoacupuncture. In order to achieve better results in acupuncture, time-related acupuncture methods as represented in traditional Chinese chronotherapeufics should be applied in clinic regularly. Furthermore, they should become compulsory for the study of acupuncture.
