在检验学组活动中对在职检验人员进行继续教育的探讨

在职检验人员的继续教育关系到提高素质及检验质量，涉及检验学科的总体水平而日趋重视，但目前尚无模式可循。本文根据1984-1993年太仓市医学会检验学组活动情况，就此问题作一粗浅的探讨。

Team management in college English classroom teaching

With the rapid development and furthering of higher education, most Chinese colleges have carried out large-scale enrollment program, which is a necessary improvement toward higher education reform. Meanwhile, the increasing number of students has posed new problems and requirements for the old teaching method： the English teachers are facing more students and larger classes. In Zhejiang University, City College （ZUCC） the credit system and course selection has challenged the English teachers on a higher level. Every English teacher is facing classes of more than 40 students from various departments with sharp contrast among individual students in their English proficiency level and local background. How can every student actively participate in teaching activity so as to achieve better performance in English class？ Many teachers, therefore, have adopted team activity and cooperative teaching method to stimulate student participation in class. Inspired by the management theory to optimize student groups into independent teams, the concept of team construction and team management has been introduced into College English Teaching in ZUCC, which has given new meaning to team activity--it will become an interdisciplinary teaching method with its own feature.

Relevance of proteolysis and proteasome activation in fatty liver graft preservation: An Institut Georges Lopez-1 vs University of Wisconsin appraisal

To compare liver proteolysis and proteasome activation in steatotic liver grafts conserved in University of Wisconsin (UW) and Institut Georges Lopez-1 (IGL-1) solutions.METHODSFatty liver grafts from male obese Zücker rats were conserved in UW and IGL-1 solutions for 24 h at 4 °Cand subjected to “ex vivo” normo-thermic perfusion (2 h; 37 °C). Liver proteolysis in tissue specimens and perfusate was measured by reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography. Total free amino acid release was correlated with the activation of the ubiquitin proteasome system (UPS: measured as chymotryptic-like activity and 20S and 19S proteasome), the prevention of liver injury (transaminases), mitochondrial injury (confocal microscopy) and inflammation markers (TNF 1 alpha, high mobility group box-1 (HGMB-1) and PPAR gamma), and liver apoptosis (TUNEL assay, cytochrome c and caspase 3).RESULTSProfiles of free AA (alanine, proline, leucine, isoleucine, methionine, lysine, ornithine, and threonine, among others) were similar for tissue and reperfusion effluent. In all cases, the IGL-1 solution showed a significantly higher prevention of proteolysis than UW (P < 0.05) after cold ischemia reperfusion. Livers conserved in IGL-1 presented more effective prevention of ATP-breakdown and more inhibition of UPS activity (measured as chymotryptic-like activity). In addition, the prevention of liver proteolysis and UPS activation correlated with the prevention of liver injury (AST/ALT) and mitochondrial damage (revealed by confocal microscopy findings) as well as with the prevention of inflammatory markers (TNF1alpha and HMGB) after reperfusion. In addition, the liver grafts preserved in IGL-1 showed a significant decrease in liver apoptosis, as shown by TUNEL assay and the reduction of cytochrome c, caspase 3 and P62 levels.CONCLUSIONOur comparison of these two preservation solutions suggests that IGL-1 helps to prevent ATP breakdown more effectively than UW and subsequently achieves a higher UPS inhibition and reduced liver proteolysis.

Research on the path of the bureaucracy in the modern university management

The theory of Webb＇s ideal type of the bureaucratic organization contains the abundant management thoughts, and it has been widely used for its rationality since was put forward. The modem universities are the formal social organizations, and that the universities implement the bureaucratic administration has its own rationality which is not negligible. However, the universities are the academic organizations, and their intrinsic attributes, that is, the ambiguity of their goals, the diversified values, and the uncertainty of the processes of their activities and the effects, result in the inevitable limitations in the bureaucratic administration of the universities. Therefore, the improvement of the university bureaucratic administration systems should be implemented based on the inherent logic of the universities.

Study on the Logistics Management Problems in Colleges and Universities

Hopefully, a due effect is played on the quality of the logistics management in colleges and universities at the present time.

Effects of Physical Education on Campus Culture Construction

Physical education is an important part of campus culture of the body, it has become one of the main ways for modem college students to relax, and it has a positive impact on construction of campus culture. So attention to sports participation of college students and promoting college students actively to join in sports activities has become an important part of the construction of campus culture. Universities undertake the mission to train highly qualified personnel, it should guide students to participate in various forms of physical activity related to local conditions, and we establish certain style and taste of the campus culture. This paper aims to identify the impact of college students＇ physical conditions to construction of campus culture, so as to develop and improve the main sports participation consciousness of students in sport, we hope that we can comprehensively improve the quality of university education for better college students sports activities and to create a harmonious, strong campus culture.

Application of Structuration Theory and Activity Theory in Enterprise Resources Planning Systems Implementation for Universities

An integration of organization culture in the conceptualization and development of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems （ERPs） is critical for an organization to reap potential benefits of the system. In this paper, the authors present an analytical approach through the Structuration Theory： How a university can assess its culture for the purposes of design and development of the ERPs. The authors extend the Structuration Theory by integrating it with the Activity Theory to provide the means of evaluating the activities that the system is to perform. The modified Orlikowski model is applied to depict the relationship between institutional properties, human agents, and technology in the university setup and how this offers a more inclusive approach to ERP systems development and implementation.

A Study into Students' Views on Guided Peer Feedback in Group Work

Peer feedback is a key to the quality of group work in foreign language classrooms. In order to better understand the use of peer feedback in spoken English, a ten-week study was conducted by combining peer feedback with group work. Based on Scaffolding Instruction of Constructivism, this study chose three different tools - a checklist, a qualitative feedback sheet and a grading sheet, to guide peer feedback. A questionnaire survey and three interviews were adopted to investigate the students＇ views and attitude toward guided peer feedback. We found： （1） Guided peer feedback plays a positive role in improving the quality of group work and its three forms were positively received by the participants; （2） Among the three tools - the checklist, the qualitative feedback sheet and the grading sheet, the grading sheet was most welcomed; （3） Only by designing the appropriate peer feedback forms and the tasks at the same time, could peer feedback achieve good results.

THE DYNAMICAL MODELS OF ACTIVATED SLUDGE SYSTEM： STOCHASTIC CELLULAR AUTOMATON AND DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

A stochastic celhflar automaton （CA） model for activated sludge system （ASS） is for- mulated by a series of transition functions upon realistic treatment processes, and it is tested by comparing with ordinary differential equations （ODEs） of ASS. CA system performed by empirical parameters can reflect the characteristics of fluctuation, com- plexity and strong non-linearity of ASS. The results show that the predictions of CA are approximately similar to the dynamical behaviors of ODEs. Based on the extreme experimental system with complete cell recycle in model validation, the dynamics of biomass and substrate are predicted accurately by CA, but the large errors exist in ODEs except for integrating more spatially complicated factors. This is due to that the strong mechanical stress from spatial crowding effect is ignored in ODEs, while CA system as a spatially explicit model takes account of local interactions. Despite its extremely simple structure, CA still can capture the essence of ASS better than ODEs, thus it would be very useful in predicting long-term dynamics in other similar systems.
