It also provides theoretical support for building an effective evaluation system. The basic idea is to use AHP and Grey Assessment to obtain the weights of the indicators, and count grey evaluation coefficients with whitening function. The compositive clustering coefficients are obtained by combining the weights and the grey evaluation coefficients. Evaluation result can be gotten from the compositive clustering coefficients.展开更多
Crowd density is an important factor of crowd stability.Previous crowd density estimation methods are highly dependent on the specific video scene.This paper presented a video scene invariant crowd density estimation ...Crowd density is an important factor of crowd stability.Previous crowd density estimation methods are highly dependent on the specific video scene.This paper presented a video scene invariant crowd density estimation method using Geographic Information Systems(GIS) to monitor crowd size for large areas.The proposed method mapped crowd images to GIS.Then we can estimate crowd density for each camera in GIS using an estimation model obtained by one camera.Test results show that one model obtained by one camera in GIS can be adaptively applied to other cameras in outdoor video scenes.A real-time monitoring system for crowd size in large areas based on scene invariant model has been successfully used in 'Jiangsu Qinhuai Lantern Festival,2012'.It can provide early warning information and scientific basis for safety and security decision making.展开更多

The role of food safety has...The article deals with special questions of some aspects of food safety and application of methods of food physics in food processing and also in food quality control and quality assurance. The role of food safety has developed significantly in the last 2 decades, so today the production and processing of safe and quality food is of primary importance. Modem food production is based on principles of GAP and GMP (including GHP) and different methods and tools for quality control and assurance (IFS, HACCP, ISO-9000, ISO-9000/2010, ISO-22000, TQM). There are different techniques and methods to produce safe food and to control the quality of the foodstuffs. The modem, up-to-date technologies and measurement techniques involve the application of many physical methods - high pressure, pulsing electrical field, microwave, non-destructive techniques (e.g., INAA, NMR, NIR-NIT, PAS), radiation treatments as well. Using radiation technologies (of course not only nuclear ones) it is possible to fulfil some very important expectations of modem food processing, e.g., decrease of microbial contamination, improvement of sensory properties, increase of storability of food products.展开更多
Recently,virtualization technologies have been widely used in industry.In order to monitor the security of target systems in virtualization environments,conventional methods usually put the security monitoring mechani...Recently,virtualization technologies have been widely used in industry.In order to monitor the security of target systems in virtualization environments,conventional methods usually put the security monitoring mechanism into the normal functionality of the target systems.However,these methods are either prone to be tempered by attackers or introduce considerable performance overhead for target systems.To address these problems,in this paper,we present a concurrent security monitoring method which decouples traditional serial mechanisms,including security event collector and analyzer,into two concurrent components.On one hand,we utilize the SIM framework to deploy the event collector into the target virtual machine.On the other hand,we combine the virtualization technology and multi-core technology to put the event analyzer into a trusted execution environment.To address the synchronization problem between these two concurrent components,we make use of Lamport's ring buffer algorithm.Based on the Xen hypervisor,we have implemented a prototype system named COMO.The experimental results show that COMO can monitor the security of the target virtual machine concurrently within a little performance overhead.展开更多
