Induced by the coupling of the center of mass (C.M) motion with the inner degrees of freedom, this inner-environment-induced decoherence is reflected by the localization of the C.M wave packet. We show that, the C.M motion is coupled to the inner states only when the chain has interaction with the external potential. This result provides a realistic mechanism for the analysis of the inner-environment-induced localization of a macroscopic object.展开更多

Analysis on the reaction mechanism of selective hydrogenation of cyclopentadiene indicated that it is reasonable to express the hydrogenation rate of cyclopentadiene in the power law form. Parameters of the kinetic model were obtained by the Gauss-Newton method based on the experimental data. Under the conditions of an evident shortage of liquid assets, the financial capital has moved from real to the financial sector, ...The Republic of Serbia is characterized by an unsatisfactory macroeconomic environment. Under the conditions of an evident shortage of liquid assets, the financial capital has moved from real to the financial sector, which led companies to over-indebtedness and shutdown of their own capacities. Therefore, capital investments largely depend on internal financing sources and the ability of companies to internally generate funds for investments. In this regard, an emphasis is placed on the difference in the assessment of the company's investment capacity based on internal financing sources, which are measured using static and dynamic indicators in order to prove the necessity of applying dynamic coefficients, which are unfortunately not present in our domestic practice. The paper examines and proves the advantages of the use of the dynamic approach for such analyses using the example of energy sector, which is one of the most important branches in Serbian economy.展开更多

Biochars are, amongst other available amendment materials, considered as an attractive tool in agriculture for carbon sequestration and improvement of soil functions. The latter is widely discussed as a consequence of...Biochars are, amongst other available amendment materials, considered as an attractive tool in agriculture for carbon sequestration and improvement of soil functions. The latter is widely discussed as a consequence of improved physical quality of the amended soil.However, the mechanisms for this improvement are still poorly understood. This study investigated the effect of woodchip biochar amendment on micro-structural development, micro-and macro-structural stability, and resilience of two differently textured soils,fine sand(FS) and sandy loam(SL). Test substrates were prepared by adding 50 or 100 g kg^(-1) biochar to FS or SL. Total porosity and plant available water were significantly increased in both soils. Moreover, compressive strength of the aggregates was significantly decreased when biochar amount was doubled. Mechanical resilience of the aggregates at both micro-and macro-scale was improved in the biochar-amended soils, impacting the cohesion and compressive behavior. A combination of these effects will result in an improved pore structure and aeration. Consequently, the physicochemical environment for plants and microbes is improved. Furthermore, the improved stability properties will result in better capacity of the biochar-amended soil to recover from the myriad of mechanical stresses imposed under arable systems, including vehicle traffic, to the weight of overburden soil. However, it was noted that doubling the amendment rate did not in any case offer any remarkable additional improvement in these properties, suggesting a further need to investigate the optimal amendment rate.展开更多

In this paper, we conducted the functional analysi...Using high-throughput sequencing on metagenome to analyze marine microbial community, it is one of current main issues in the field of environmental microbe research. In this paper, we conducted the functional analysis on seven samples of metagenomic data from different depth seawater in Hawaii. The results of gene prediction and function annotation indicate that there are large amounts of potential novel genes of which functions remain unknown at present. Based on the gene annotation, codon usage bias is studied on ribosomal protein-related genes and shows an evident influence by the marine extreme environment. Furthermore, focusing on the marine environmental differences such as light intensity, dissolved oxygen, temperature and pressure among various depths, comparative analysis is carried out on related genes and metabolic pathways. Thus, the understanding as well as new insights into the correlation between marine environment and microbes are proposed at molecular level. Therefore, the studies herein afford a clue to reveal the special living strategies of microbial community from sea surface to deep sea.展开更多
