Lots of investigation have done for these cases, where S are the sets of general or symmetric matrices and symmetric positive definite or sysmmetric semiposite definite matrices respectively . Recently, however, attentions are been paying to the situation for S to be the set of general(semi) positive definite matrices(called as semipositive subdefinite matrices below) . In this paper the necessary and sufficient conditions for the following two kinds of matrix equations having semipositive, subdefinite solutions are obtained. General solutions and symmetric solutions of the equations (Ⅰ) and (Ⅱ) have been considered in in detail.展开更多

Therefore, the aim of this study was to define parameters related to health and welfare of animals in industrial farms with intensive husbandry. Health, management, environmental and productive parameters were firstly characterized and then a protocol to assess welfare of rabbits was define. The research was conducted on 8 industrial farms from 2004 to 2007 and around 30 inspections were done in each farm. At each visit, the health conditions were established by: (1) necropsy on animals of different productive category; (2) specific laboratory investigations based on the lesions observed; (3) checking the presence of parasites in environmental faecal samples; (4) bacteriological examination of vaginal, nasal and rectal swabs of rabbit of different age. The immune conditions and the efficacy of vaccinations were measured by determining anti-Myxomatosis and anti-Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease antibodies using competitive ELISAs, and anti-Encephalitozoon cunicoli antibodies by immunocarbonassay. The environmental conditions were evaluated by measuring air temperature, relative humidity, ammonia concentration and bacterial/fungal count. Finally the productive parameters were also recorded and elaborated. All the entered values were then utilized for defining a score system to establish health and welfare conditions.展开更多

However in reality there cannot exist constant distribution, respectively characteristics, in time in the strict mathematical sense because the time intervals of observation only can be finite due to practical reasons. Hence on every distribution and characteristics based on it a certain, but evaluable uncertainty is imposed. For monitoring these uncertainties the online-measurement technique, i.e. primarily appropriate software, is already available, also for customers. According to this state of the art the following expanded definition of the stationarity is proposed: Stationarity during a quality controlled measurement process becomes established, when the upper confidence limit of the interesting specific characteristic has no positive slope in time and correspondingly the lower confidence limit of the specific characteristic no negative slope and, as a third, a common condition, the interesting specific characteristic has adjusted itself to a constant position in time. From this a systematic criteria scheme is established and in examples applied on different in- and outdoor situations of sound impact.展开更多

User defined functions (UDFs) of source terms are composed and loaded into the spray, fill and rain zones. Consider- ing the conditions of impact on three kinds of corrugated fills (Double-oblique wave, Two-way wave and S wave) and four kinds of fill height (1.25 m, 1.5 m, 1.75 m and 2 In), numerical simulation of cooling performance are analysed. The results demonstrate that the S wave has the highest cooling efficiency in three fills for both towers, indicating that fill characteristics arc crucial to cooling performance. Moreover, the cooling performance of the HNDWCT is far superior to that of the UNDWCT with fill height increases of 1.75 m and above, because the air mass flow rate in the fill zone of the HNDWCT improves more than that in the UNDWCT, as a result of the rain zone resistance declining sharply for the HNDWCT. In addition, the mass and heat transfer capacity of the HNDWCT is better in the tower centre zone than in the outer zone near the tower wall under a uniform fill layout. This behaviour is inverted for the UNDWCT, perhaps because the high-level collection devices play the role of flow guiding in the inner zone. Therefore, when non-uniform fill layout optimization is applied to the HNDWCT, the inner zone increases in height from 1.75 m to 2 m, the outer zone reduces in height from 1.75 m to 1.5 m, and the outlet water temperature declines approximately 0.4 K compared to that of the uniform layout.展开更多

Under the generalized Rankine-Hugoniot conditions and the entropy condition, we constructively obtained the global existence of generalized solutions which contains delta-shock. Moreover, the author obtains the stability of generalized solutions by making use of the perturbation of the initial data.展开更多
