First, a new way for boosting sustainable progress of systematic metal materials science (SMMS) and alloy gene engineering (AGE) is to establish holographic alloy positioning design (HAPD) system, of which the base consists of measurement and calculation center, SMMS center, AGE center, HAPD information center and HAPD cybernation center; Second, the resonance activating-sychro alternating mechanism of atom movement may be divided into the located and oriented diffuse modes; Third, the equilibrium and subequilibrium holographic network phase diagrams are blueprints and operable platform for researchers to discover, design, manufacture and deploy advanced alloys, which are obtained respectively by the equilibrium lever numerical method and cross point numerical method of isothermal Gibbs energy curves. As clicking each network point, the holographic information of three structure levels for the designed alloy may be readily obtained: the phase constitution and fraction, phase arranging structure and properties of organization; the composition, alloy gene arranging structure and properties of each phase and the electronic structures and properties of alloy genes. In order to provide important parameters for schedule designing, decision-making bases for transit operation management and references for passengers traveling by bus, bus transit travel time reliability is analyzed and evaluated based on automatic vehicle location (AVL) data. Based on the statistical analysis of the bus transit travel time, six indices including the coefficient of variance, the width of travel time distribution, the mean commercial speed, the congestion frequency, the planning time index and the buffer time index are proposed. Moreover, a framework for evaluating bus transit travel time reliability is constructed. Finally, a case study on a certain bus route in Suzhou is conducted. Results show that the proposed evaluation index system is simple and intuitive, and it can effectively reflect the efficiency and stability of bus operations. And a distinguishing feature of bus transit travel time reliability is the temporal pattern. It varies across different time periods. 展开更多

Through decorrelating processing DOAs of the desired users can be estimated independently and all other resolved signal interferences are eliminated. Emphasis is directed to applications in which sensor phases may be in error. It is shown that accurate phase calibration in conjunction with their use in high resolution DOA estimation can be achieved for the decoupled signals. 展开更多

This paper deals with the research of the GPS/INS integrated navigation system applying Extended Kalman Filter, which involves integrated principles, scheme and technology of combining with real INS and GPS receiver data. Emphases are placed on the modeling of system errors and implementation of the integrated system. Both loose and tightly coupled GPS/INS integrated in schemes are analyzed. On the basis of our experience accumulated in the research of GPS/INS for many years, the GPS/INS integrated navigation developing system is developed. It can be put into efficient and economic use in the study and design of integrated navigation system. It plays an important role in the aeronautical and astronautical fields in China. This system is not only a computer aided design software but also a semi physical simulation system by obtaining real INS and GPS receiver data. So the key software unit of the developing system could be conveniently transferred into practical engineering software in actual hardware integrated system. The application of this system shows that the design ideas and integrated scheme of this development system are successful, and can achieve good navigation result. 展开更多

A fast U D factorization based Kalman filter for the 21 state integrated global positioning system and inertial navigation system (GPS/INS) is developed from the point of engineering implementation. The conventional Kalman filter is widely used for integration of GPS/INS, however, due to the model and numerical computation errors, the Kalman filter may diverge in engineering implementation. In order to solve this problem, an extended Kalman filter based on the U D factorization is proposed. Moreover, the high order integrated system suffers from the problem of long computation time, leading to difficulties in real time applications. An algorithmic approach is developed to improve the computational speed. A typical aircraft trajectory is simulated to compare the improvement in the computational speed and the navigation accuracy using the conventional Kalman filter and the fast Kalman filter based on the U D factorization. The results indicate that the methods proposed in this paper are very effective in overcoming these problems for the high dynamic integrated GPS/INS system. 展开更多

Underwater sensor network can achieve the unmanned environmental monitoring and military monitoring missions.Underwater acoustic sensor node cannot rely on the GPS to position itself,and the traditional indirect positioning methods used in Ad Hoc networks are not fully applicable to the localization of underwater acoustic sensor networks.In this paper,we introduce an improved underwater acoustic network localization algorithm.The algorithm processes the raw data before localization calculation to enhance the tolerance of random noise.We reduce the redundancy of the calculation results by using a more accurate basic algorithm and an adjusted calculation strategy.The improved algorithm is more suitable for the underwater acoustic sensor network positioning. 展开更多

In this paper, we evaluate three statistical estimation methods with the same network model and geographic information obtailaed by the DV-Hop algorithm. We analyze the limits of Minimum Mean Square Estimate (MMSE), Least Median of Squares (LMS) and Enhanced greedy At- tack-Resistant MMSE (EARMMSE) and propose an improved EARMMSE with the hop-distance relationship, named EARMMSE+. Simulation results illustrate the performance of MMSE, LMS and EARMMSE+ with different anchor fraction, the length of wormhole link and the average local neighborhood and show that EARMMSE+ outperforms MMSE and LMS. 展开更多

The situated-Bug selects its behaviors according to robot orientation, instead of positions and hit points like other Bug algorithms, and its convergence proves robust to sensor noise, and it can guide the robots running for long rang traverse. Estimating the global position of a road vehicle without using GPS is a challenge that many scientists look forward to solving in the near future. Normally, inertial and odometry sensors are used to complement GPS measures in an attempt to provide a means for maintaining vehicle odometry during GPS outage. Nonetheless, recent experiments have demonstrated that computer vision can also be used as a valuable source to provide what can be denoted as visual odometry. For this purpose, vehicle motion can be estimated using a non-linear, photogrametric approach based on RAndom SAmple Consensus (RANSAC). The results prove that the detection and selection of relevant feature points is a crucial factor in the global performance of the visual odometry algorithm. The key issues for further improvement are discussed in this letter. 展开更多

A constructive method was presented to design a global robust and adaptive output feedback controller for dynamic positioning of surface ships under environmental disturbances induced by waves, wind, and ocean currents. The ship's parameters were not required to be known. An adaptive observer was first designed to estimate the ship's velocities and parameters. The ship position measurements were also passed through the adaptive observer to reduce high frequency measurement noise from entering the control system. Using these estimate signals, the control was then designed based on Lyapunov's direct method to force the ship's position and orientation to globally asymptotically converge to desired values. Simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control system. In conclusion, the paper presented a new method to design an effective control system for dynamic positioning of surface ships. 展开更多
