光线追踪因其渲染效果的真实性,长期以来被视为下一代主流图像渲染技术,是计算机图形学领域的热点研究方向。近年来,学术界和商业界对实时光线追踪开展了广泛研究。为促进实时光线追踪的研究,对相关文献进行归纳、分析和总结。首先阐述... 光线追踪因其渲染效果的真实性,长期以来被视为下一代主流图像渲染技术,是计算机图形学领域的热点研究方向。近年来,学术界和商业界对实时光线追踪开展了广泛研究。为促进实时光线追踪的研究,对相关文献进行归纳、分析和总结。首先阐述了光线追踪的概念、算法、加速数据结构等理论知识;介绍了三款支持光线追踪商用图形处理器(GPU),并对比了之间的差异;从光线束遍历、无栈遍历、光线重排序、多分支BVH、降噪技术、与神经网络结合的实时光线追踪这六个方法综述了光线追踪的算法优化工作,并阐明了相关具体方法的优缺点;在算法加速的基础上,对使用GPU优化加速和采用定制化设计的硬件加速进行了归纳分析;最后对文章的内容进行了总结,指出了实时光线追踪仍面临的困难,并对未来的发展方向进行了展望。可以帮助研究人员系统地了解实时光线追踪的研究现状,为后续开展相关研究提供思路。 展开更多

The shelf life of pure amorphous sucrose systems, such as cotton candy, can be very short. Previous studies have shown that amorphous sucrose systems held above the glass transition temperature will collapse and crystallize. One study, however, showed that adding a small percent of another type of sugar, such as trehalose, to sucrose can extend the shelf life of the amorphous system by slowing crystallization. This study explores the hypothesis that raffinose increases the stability of an amorphous sucrose system. Cotton candy at 5 wt% raffinose and 95 wt% sucrose was made and stored at room temperature and three different relative humidities (%RH) 11%RH, 33%RH, and 43%RH. XRD patterns, and glass transition temperatures were obtained to determine the stability as a function of %RH. The data collected showed that raffinose slows sucrose crystallization in a low moisture amorphous state above the glass transition temperature and therefore improves the stability of amorphous sucrose systems. 展开更多

Under certain load pattern, the geometrically indeterminate pin-jointed mechanisms will present certain shapes to keep static equalization. This paper proposes a matrix-based method to determine the mobility and equilibrium stability of mechanisms according to the effects of the external loads. The first and second variations of the potential energy function of mechanisms under conservative force field are analyzed. Based on the singular value decomposition (SVD) method, a new crite- rion for the mobility and equilibrium stability of mechanisms can be concluded by analyzing the equilibrium matrix. The mobility and stability of mechanisms can be classified by unified matrix formulae. A number of examples are given to demonstrate the proposed criterion. This paper considers accounting regulation research from a structuration and cultural perspective. Therefore, accounting regulation research spans over three spheres of enquiry: (1) an accounting focus of standard-setting; (2) a cultural analysis in an empirical context; and (3) the use of a research methodology drawn from Anthony Giddens' structuration theory. In such approach, accounting regulation research analyzes the accounting regulation actors drawing upon the cultures in their standard-setting actions and interactions, referring to Giddens' three structural properties of meaning, power, and morality. The integration of these three spheres of enquiry is not entirely original. A few prior studies have similar combinations: Although they stress the uses and consequences of accounting systems in producing and reproducing organizational culture and negotiating meaning at the organizational level, this paper chooses the research approach of contextual analysis of accounting systems at more macro-societal and cultural levels. This different research interest and design provides this paper with its distinguishable characteristic from the prior similar studies. 展开更多

Based on robust control Lyapunov function, a sufficient and necessary condition for a function to be a robust control Lyapunov function is given. From this condition, simply sufficient condition for the robust stabilization (robust practical stabilization) is deduced. Moreover, if the equilibrium of the closed-loop system is unique, the existence of such a robust control Lyapunnv function will also imply robustly globally asymptotical stabilization. Most aspects of construction projects mainly fall under contractual regime. However, when things go wrong such as when the project is abandoned for various reasons, they may create two different scenarios: a contract that is breached and a fixed structure that is left on the land which may constitute an incomplete benefit that is acquired by one of the parties. The transfer of such benefit is initially made with a legal ground, but that ground has since ceased to exist. If some aspect of that benefit cannot be recovered under a contract, enrichment rules may be competent to solve the problem. How to measure the different aspects of that enrichment is however a problem that may have different interpretations according to different conceptions of the foundations of enrichment liability in a particular legal system. This article explores the measures of enrichment in such cases of failed bilateral contracts scenarios working from South African perspective. It argues that in cases of failed bilateral contracts generating an enrichment situation, sanctioning a dual measure of enrichment in a legal system may be an appropriate avenue. 展开更多

Tailoring tire pore structure and surface chemistry of graphene-based laminates is essentially important for their applications as separation membranes. Usually, pure graphene oxide (GO) and completely reduced GO (rGO) membranes suffer florn low water permeance because of the lack of pristine graphitic sp2 domains and very small interlayer spacing, respectively. In this work, we studied the influence of reduction degree on the structure and separation pertornrance of rGO membranes, tt was found that weak reduction retains the good dispersion and hydrophilicity of GO nanosheets. More importantly, it increases the number of pristine graphitic sp2 domains in rGO nanosheets while keeping the large interlayer spacing of the GO membranes in most regions at the same time. The resultant mernbranes show a high water permeance of 56.3 L m^-2 h^ -1 bar^ -1, which is about 4 times and over 10^4 times larger tban those of the GO and completely reduced rGO membranes, respectively, and high rejection over 95700 for various dyes. Furthermore, they show better structure stability and more superior separation perfor- mance than GO membranes in acid and alkali environments. 展开更多

Side loads and aeroelastic stability of rocket nozzle were studied by solving Navier-Stokes equation coupled with structural equation of motion.The computation was implemented at different total pressure inlet conditions,and flow phenomena of free shock separation(FSS) and restricted shock separation(RSS) were captured.At certain total pressure inlet conditions,it was found that both kinds of separations existed in nozzle flow filed,while RSS exhibited combined space asymmetry and time unsteady characteristics.The corresponding asymmetric circumferential pressure distribution,strong pressure fluctuation in separation region and large range of displacement of shock wave all led to severe side loads.Besides,for flexible nozzles,the low pressure gradient in separation region might reduce structure stability at nozzle exit,resulting in large local deformation.It was also found that aeroelasticity exhibited buffeting characteristic due to the asymmetric separation,resulting in reduction of aeroelastic stability,even structure destruction.Moreover,aeroelasticity might amplify side loads and aggravate its growth rate.However,with increment of inlet pressure,nozzle aeroelastic stability was also increased when a full flow was nearly reached. 展开更多

Extensibility and attainability of topology optimization are discussed by investigating a variety of simultaneous topology opti-mization methods extended from the standard formulation.First,the state of the art is highlighted through systematic classification of developed methods,such as simultaneous topology optimizations of microstructure and macrostructure,structure and supports,structure and design-dependent loads,structure and locations of involved components.Second,some recent results about simultaneous topology optimization of structure and applied loads are presented.It is shown that the simultaneous topology optimization is an integrated methodology that extends the concept of standard topology optimization in the sense of systematic design.The presence of more than one kind of design variable of different nature makes the optimization problem complex but enlarges the design space to attain the optimization. 展开更多
