Firstly, quantities of all kinds of error sources that influence velocity deter-mination are analyzed. The potential accuracy of GPS absolute velocity determination is derived from both theory and field GPS data simulation. After that, two tests were carried out to evaluate the performance of GPS absolute velocity determination in the case of a static and an airborne GPS receiver and INS (Inertial Navigation System) instrument in kinematic mode. In static mode, the receiver velocity has been estimated to be several mm/s with the carrier-phase derived Doppler measurements, and several cm/s with the receiver generated Doppler measurements. In kinematic mode, GPS absolute velocity estimates are compared with the synchronized measurements from the high accuracy INS. The root mean square statistics of the velocity discrepancies between GPS and INS come up to dm/s. Moreover, it has a strong correlation with the accel-eration or jerk of the aircraft.展开更多

One of the restrictions is the quantum energy inequality (QEI), in which the energy density is averaged over time, or space, or over space and time. By now temporal QEIs have been established for various quantum fields, but less work has been done for the spacetime quantum energy inequality. In this paper we deal with the free Rarita-Schwinger field and present a quantum inequality bound on the energy density averaged over space and time. Comparison with the QEI for the Rarita-Schwinger field shows that the lower bound is the same with the QEI. At the same time, we find the quantum inequality for the Rarita-Schwinger field is weaker than those for the scalar and Dirac fields. This fact gives further support to the conjecture that the more freedom the field has, the more easily the field displays negative energy density and the weaker the quantum inequality becomes.展开更多

Roundness is calculated from a large number of points collected from the profiles of the parts. According to the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measta- meat (GUM), all measurement results must have a stated uncertainty associated the titan. However, no CMMs give the uncertainty value of the roundness, because no suitable measrement uncertainty calculation procedure exists. In the case of roundness raeasurement in coordinate metrology, this paper suggests the algorithms for the calculation of the measurement uncertainty of the roudness deviation based on the two mainly used association criteria, LSC and MZC. The calculation of the sensitivity coefficients for the uncertainty calculatiion can be done by autnatic differentiation, in order to avoid introducing additional emars by the traditional difference quotient approxima- tions. The proposed methods are exact and need input data only as the nrasured coordinates of the data points and their associated un- certainties.展开更多

Its fruits contain large amounts of polyphenol compounds, anthocyanins for instance. Anthocyanins play important roles in attracting pollinators and protecting plants from various stresses. ANS (Anthocyanidin synthase) catalyzes the conversion of leucoanthocyanidins to colored anthocyanidins. In this study, the total anthocyanins concentration at seven developmental stages of the strawberry fruit were investigated by UV spectrophotometry at 496 nm and 700 rim; and the expression levels of the Fa-ANS gene were studied by qRT-PCR. The results showed that the anthocyanins contents gradually increased along with the fruit maturation; while the expression patterns of Fa-ANS were consistent with the anthocyanins.展开更多

The assay is based on a β-1actamase-catalyzed reaction, in which the yellow substrate nitrocefin (λmax=390 nm) is converted to a red product (λmax=486 nm). Since CA can irreversibly inhibit β-1actamase activity, the level of CA in a sample can be measured as a function of the A390]A486 ratio in the assay mixture. The sensitivity and detection window of the assay were determined to be 50 μg L -1 and 50 μg L to 10 mg L-1, respectively. The reliability of the assay was confirmed by comparing assay results with those obtained by HPLC. The assay was used to screen a pool of 65 S. clavuligerus mutants and was reliable for identifying CA over-producing mutants. Therefore, the assay saves time and labor in large-scale mutant screening and evaluation tasks. The detection window and the reliability of this assay are markedly better than those of previously reported CA assays. This assay method is suitable for high throughput screening of microbial samples and allows direct visual observation of CA levels on agar plates.展开更多
