But there are some limitations in the basic MLS model, such as inference channels. The availability and data integrity of the system are seriously constrained by it′s 'No Read Up, No Write Down' property in the basic MLS model. In order to eliminate the covert channels, the polyinstantiation and the cover story are used in the new data model. The read and write rules have been redefined for improving the agility and usability of the system based on the MLS model. In this paper,the advantage of using numerical models with the strength reduction method(SRM) to evaluate entry stability in complex multiple-seam conditions is demonstrated.A coal mine under variable topography from ...In this paper,the advantage of using numerical models with the strength reduction method(SRM) to evaluate entry stability in complex multiple-seam conditions is demonstrated.A coal mine under variable topography from the Central Appalachian region is used as a case study.At this mine,unexpected roof conditions were encountered during development below previously mined panels.Stress mapping and observation of ground conditions were used to quantify the success of entry support systems in three room-and-pillar panels.Numerical model analyses were initially conducted to estimate the stresses induced by the multiple-seam mining at the locations of the affected entries.The SRM was used to quantify the stability factor of the supported roof of the entries at selected locations.The SRM-calculated stability factors were compared with observations made during the site visits,and the results demonstrate that the SRM adequately identifies the unexpected roof conditions in this complex case.It is concluded that the SRM can be used to effectively evaluate the likely success of roof supports and the stability condition of entries in coal mines.展开更多

However, its particular stress conditions in the surrounding rock may increase the difficulty of stress control in the coal face and in its mining roadways, especially when the coal seam, the roof, and the floor have rock-burst propensities, The high energy accumulated in the island coal face and in its roof and floor will intensify rock-burst propensity or even induce rock burst, which further result in great casualties and financial losses. Taking island coal face 2321 in Jinqiao coal mine as a case, we propose a method for the prediction of rock-burst-threatened areas in an island coal face with weak rock-burst propensity. Based on the anaHysis of the movement of the overlying roof and characteristics of stress distribution, this method combined numerical simulation with drilling bits to ensure the prediction accuracy. The effects of coal pillars with different widths on the mitigation of stress concentration in the coal face and on the prevention of rock burst are analyzed together with the mech- anism behind. Finally, corresponding measures against the rock burst in the island coal face are proposed.展开更多

Organizations started to use electronic commerce by internet facilities nearby their traditional marketing methods to increase their sales and profits. E-Commerce has many advantages when compared to traditional trade. This paper aims to take out these advantages for the companies which want to make use of electronic commerce and includes important advices for these companies. The paper also includes the basic version of an e-commerce business, by analysing one of the most successful firms in Turkey, yemeksepeti.com in terms of an Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Event Driven Process (EDP) to explain the organizations how an e-commerce business model should be constructed systematically. An ERD is a data modeling technique which graphically illustrates an information system's entities and the relationships between those entities. On the other hand, EDP is a chain for the modeling language which is used for describing business processes and workflows of an organization. This study examines yemeksepeti.com for providing an example of these two diagrams, which should be a milestone for the newcomers of an e-commerce. Organizing an e-commerce should start with the software designs and these examples of ERD and EDP which are the base for the software of an e-commerce business. Objective Small cell carcinoma(SCC) is mostly found in the lungs. It is extremely rare in the gastric remnant. Here, we report a case and review the literature in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of SCC of...Objective Small cell carcinoma(SCC) is mostly found in the lungs. It is extremely rare in the gastric remnant. Here, we report a case and review the literature in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of SCC of the gastric remnant.Methods We report a case of SCC of the gastric remnant in a 71-year-old male Chinese patient who presented with epigastric pain, acid regurgitation, and belching and who underwent Billroth II gastrectomy more than 38 years ago.Results Physical examination showed no obvious abnormalities. Laboratory data were within normal limits, except for anemia. Pathology of the mass showed a protruded tumor measuring 5.0 × 5.0 × 2.5 cm at the anastomotic edge of the gastric remnant that infiltrated through the full wall of the stomach; this was confirmed by immunohistochemical staining for cytokeratin [CK(-)], leukocyte common antigen(LCA)(+), synaptophysin(+), CD56(+), and Ki-67(+ > 50%).Conclusion SCC of the gastric remnant is extremely rare, although the pathology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of SCC are similar to those of gastric SCC. Although the standard treatment of SCC of the gastric remnant remains unclear, effective surgical resection and subsequent multiagent chemotherapy should be performed for long-term survival. Our case shows the efficacy of tegafurgimeracil-oteracil-potassium capsule chemotherapy. Examination of a large series is required to determine the optimal treatment strategy for SCC of the gastric remnant.展开更多

Firstly, a gradient based method was extended to generate motion sequences and garments were simulated on the sequen...A data-driven method was proposed to realistically animate garments on human poses in reduced space. Firstly, a gradient based method was extended to generate motion sequences and garments were simulated on the sequences as our training data. Based on the examples, the proposed method can fast output realistic garments on new poses. Our framework can be mainly divided into offline phase and online phase. During the offline phase, based on linear blend skinning(LBS), rigid bones and flex bones were estimated for human bodies and garments, respectively. Then, rigid bone weight maps on garment vertices were learned from examples. In the online phase, new human poses were treated as input to estimate rigid bone transformations. Then, both rigid bones and flex bones were used to drive garments to fit the new poses. Finally, a novel formulation was also proposed to efficiently deal with garment-body penetration. Experiments manifest that our method is fast and accurate. The intersection artifacts are fast removed and final garment results are quite realistic.展开更多
