The system consists of the collapsible ~830 L FEP Teflon film main reactor, in which the atmospheric chemical reactions take place and the formation of SOA occurs under the simulated atmospheric conditions, and the diverse on-line gas- and particle-phase instrumentation, such as the proton transfer reaction mass spectrometer, the synchrotron radiation photoionization mass spectrometer, the aerosol laser time-of-flight mass spectrometer, and other traditional commercial instruments. The initial characterization experiments are described, concerning the temperature and ultraviolet light intensity, the reactivity of the pure air, the wall loss rates of gaseous compounds and particulate matter. And the initial evaluation experiments for SOA yields from the ozonolysis of α-pinene and for mass spectra of the products resulting from the photooxidation of OH initiated isoprene are also presented, which indicate the applicability of this facility on the studies of gas-phase chemical mechanisms as well as the formation of SOA expected in the atmosphere.展开更多

The axial preloading stiffness was treated as the sum of the spindle modal stiffness and the framework elastic stiffness, based on a novel concept that magnitude of preloads can be controlled by measuring the resonant frequency of a spindle system. By employing an example of a certain type of aircraft simulating rotary table, the modal stiffness was measured on the Agilent 35670A Dynamic Signal Analyzer by experimental modal analysis. The equivalent elastic stiffness was simulated by both finite element analysis in ANSYS? and a curve fitting in MATLAB?. Results showed that the static preloading stiffness of the spindle was 7.2125×107 N/m, and that the optimal preloading force was 120.0848 N. Practical application proved the feasibility of our method.展开更多

The first type is ordinary two wires line (below A-Line). The second type is so-called single-wire line, where ground plays the role instead of second wire. Polyphase systems belong to the third type, three phase system is the most popular among them. The purpose of this article is another attempt to build a one-wired (without ground) system--the transmission of electrical energy. In this paper an original idea of building such a system is justified, the results of simulations and laboratory modeling are presented. It is shown that the proposed method can reduce the cost of electric transmission lines, the losses in them and significantly reduce interferences.展开更多

The authors construct a model considered of three main stock market effect factors: cognitive factors, social factors and economic factors. In the simulation system, free-scale social network is generated for information relations among investors in stock market. The authors simulate the organization information propaganda processes and generate stock related news. The generated news contains economy factors and sudden events. Stockholders cooperate with the related stockholders in their social network, and make stock exchange decision based on this news and their cognitive understanding of this news. Simulation results shows that the social network news propaganda effect stock prices. If social network in stock market have circles, the news affection will be amplified.展开更多

Mathematical description of process will be named as adequate mathematical description if the results of mathematical simulation by the help of this description coincide with experiment with inaccuracy of initial data. The synthesis of such description is very important at mathematical modeling and forecast of motion of real physical phenomena. The specified problem is still poorly investigated and hardly adapted to formalization. The requirements to the adequate mathematical description of dynamic system are considered for the case when mathematical description of dynamic systems is represented by linear system of the ordinary differential equations. In this paper the mathematical model of process is given a priori with inexact parameters and then the models of external loads are being determined for which the results of simulation coincide with experiment. The methods of obtaining of the steady models of external loads are suggested. The example of the adequate description construction of the main mechanical line dynamics of rolling mill is given.展开更多

We firstly propose a framework of the frequency allocation in which the whole frequency allocation process is decomposed into many consecutive stages, then identify that for each stage the key is to find the Maximum Weight Independent Set (MWIS) in a given weighted conflict graph in the distributed manner. A new distributed algorithm for MWIS is described in which each node iteratively exchanges messages with neighbors. With this distributed MWIS algorithm, a new distributed proportional fair frequency allocation scheme is presented. The performance of the proposed algorithm is tested in computer experiments simulating the Long Term Evolution (LTE) cellular systems. Simulation results show the performance of the proposed distributed proportional fair frequency allocation scheme is comparable with the centralized ones.展开更多
