Since there is lack of methodology to assess the performance of defogging algorithm and the existing assessment methods have some limitations,three new methods for assessing the defogging algorithm were proposed.One w...Since there is lack of methodology to assess the performance of defogging algorithm and the existing assessment methods have some limitations,three new methods for assessing the defogging algorithm were proposed.One was using synthetic foggy image simulated by image degradation model to assess the defogging algorithm in full-reference way.In this method,the absolute difference was computed between the synthetic image with and without fog.The other two were computing the fog density of gray level image or constructing assessment system of color image from human visual perception to assess the defogging algorithm in no-reference way.For these methods,an assessment function was defined to evaluate algorithm performance from the function value.Using the defogging algorithm comparison,the experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed methods.展开更多

Financial analysis results cannot be taken as useful and acceptable without their objectification on the basis of chosen reference rates, values. The article is focused on key information about financial analysis objectification methods, sources, and databases in conditions of Slovak enterprises. Current database for the comparison in Slovakia is currently provided by the company CRIF - Slovak Credit Bureau, which provides a complete range of solutions for business and consumer information as well as credit and marketing management. This information is very useful for financial analysis objectification, but not available for all potential users.展开更多

Traditionally, image data collected are photo-sensitive which suffered seriously from the light reflectivity from surface and color patterns on fabrics. The data used in the article were surface profile in gray level format. In this study, the background approximation by wavelet analysis approach was introduced. The original image was orthogonally decomposed and represented by sets of wavelet coefficients. The approximation coefficients were extracted at various levels and reconstructed to form a background. The results demonstrated a very effective segmentation in all tested fabrics.展开更多

Therefore, the measures to recover their motor and nervous systems from the fatigue are very important. In this research, this author tries to investigate the methods to recover one＇ s joints and relax one＇ s nervous system, and detailed methods would also be provided for reference. Objective conditions, like sports fields and equipment, have become relatively satisfactory. There are high-level coaches and athletes who are carefully and scientifically chosen, so that good athletic performance is well guaranteed. To improve sports teams＇ comprehensive sports skills, we have to adopt and grasp some advanced training methods and skills. But after intensive training and fierce competition, athletes＇ motor and nervous system would suffer from fatigue, therefore, it becomes necessary for them to grasp the methods of recovery. In this research, this author tries to investigate the mechanism and methods to recover athletes＇ joints from the fatigue and relax their nervous system.展开更多
