儒家价值观对企业创新的影响机制——中盐金坛案例研究

近年,随着国学热的兴起,越来越多的人开始关注儒家价值观对于当代社会经济的影响和作用。目前关于儒家价值观对于企业创新的影响,还存在不同的观点。本文基于道德认同和伦理领导理论,以中盐金坛盐化有限责任公司为研究案例,探索了儒家价值观对于企业创新的作用机制。研究发现:公司领导层的儒家价值观会引发其儒家伦理领导,儒家伦理领导行为会推动企业实施社会责任活动,而企业社会责任活动最终促进企业创新。

关于家校教育价值观整合的探讨

家校教育价值观整合,亟需密切家庭教育和学校教育之间的关系,从而建设学习型社会,推动教育的可持续性发展。其中,家庭教育价值观的走向,很大程度影响着学校教育价值观的发展取向。因此,本研究基于社会层面的家校教育价值观分化为研究缘起,在家校教育价值观的总体水平的定量分析基础上,主要分别把脉家庭居住地区、家庭收入水平、家庭人口构成和家长职业技能,从而通过形成具有地域特色的教育价值观、打破资本积累对家庭教育价值观的束缚、发挥教师的教学领导力,建立以学生为中心的教师和家长之间的理解和信任,实现家校教育价值观的有效整合。

Familial and Territorial Values for Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Italy： Some Reflections in Theory and Practice]

This study reflects the specificities of family small- and medium-sized enterprises （SMEs） which are related to values, culture, and relationships with the territory （local context）. In the following sustainable and corporate social responsibility （CSR）-oriented strategies, family businesses are ＂assisted＂ by the presence of entrepreneurial values which are tied to and derived from the social system in the territory in which they are located. The aim of this study is to demonstrate that the consolidation of stable and durable relations between the family business and the local context depends on the presence of shared values between the members of the family and the stakeholders, all components of civil society are within the same territory. Such values are the fruit of a given territory＇s civic traditions. They are the result of an anthropological culture which is typical of the socioeconomic environment in which the entrepreneur, the family, and the business are all rooted, thus, they are expressions of a culture ＂of the place＂.

The Concept of Non-violence in the Philosophy of the Imperial Stoa

In the moral philosophy of the late Stoa, there is a significant turn to the recognition of non-violence values. Starting from the point where the philosophers of the Ancient and the Middle Stoa acknowledge man＇s relation with the Cosmos and with each human being separately, the Stoics of Rome （namely, Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, but even Cicero who fosters many of the earlier Stoic ethical views） enrich the content of this theorization by offering an expansion of the concept of the Greek philanthropy. Through the practical means of individual correction, which leads to the therapy of passions, the stoic sage returns to society in order to emancipate the human being and to ensure that man will recover his ontological dignity. This effort is grounded on benevolent and mild action, which aims to correct rather than to discipline in a punitive way. It is their contribution to philosophy that the author aims to discuss in connection with the recording of their thought on issues directly related with a non-violent and eudaimonistic way of life in the context of social peace.

It Takes Two to Tango： Entrepreneurship and Creativity in Troubled Times--Vietnam 2012

This study focuses on perceived values of entrepreneurship and creativity within a turbulent environment. The initial hypothesis is that a typical entrepreneurial process carries with its ＂creativity-enabling elements＂. In a normal situation, businesses focus on optimizing their resources for commercial gains, thus perceptions about values of entrepreneurial creativity are usually vague. However, in difficult times, the difference between survival and failure may be creativity. This paper examines many previous findings on entrepreneurship and creativity, and suggests a highly possible ＂organic growth＂ of creativity in an entrepreneurial environment and reinforcing value of entrepreneurship when creativity power is present. In other words, the authors see each idea reinforcing the other. The authors survey Vietnamese firms during the chaotic year of 2012 to learn about the ＂entrepreneurship-creativity nexus＂, looking at influential cultural values, namely risk tolerance, relationship, and dependence on resources--to assess how they influence entrepreneurial decisions. A set of 137 qualified responses was obtained for this statistical examination. A categorical data analysis is performed to confirm that creativity and entrepreneurial spirit could hardly be separate, for both entrepreneurial and accomplished companies. Although the most important factor during implementation is still ＂relationship＂, business people are increasingly aware of the need of creativity/innovation in troubled times.

A Study of the Chinese Americans＇ Dreams in Gish Jen＇s Typical American

Published in 1991, Jen＇s Typical American depicts a first-generation Chinese immigrant family＇s pursuing their American Dream in the Post-War American society. By choosing Chinese American immigrants as her main characters and describing their struggling in the American society, Jen expresses her understanding of being Americans. In the novel, as they move from ＂sojourners＂ to American citizens, the Chang family shows different attitude towards Chinese and American cultural values. The dreams they pursue also vary. This thesis, through an analysis of the dreams the Chang family pursue in Typical American, attempts to demonstrate how the Chang family identify with their cultural identities in this process, and how they evolve from ＂sojourners＂ to ＂typical Americans＂.

The Winter＇s Tale by Shakespeare and the Confucian Values

Through comparison, this paper finds out that William Shakespeare （1564-1616）, the most popular and wide respected writer in all English literatures and a great dramatist and humanist in the English Renaissance perio ly d, coincides in speaking highly of love, loyalty, intelligence, harmony, integrity, righteousness, friendship, and so on with Chinese Confucian values--the most precious treasure of Chinese traditional culture reflected in the Three Cardinal Guides and the Five Constant Virtues used by Chinese people in maintaining the stability and harmony of the whole nation and society--through vivid interpretation of human ethical relations in many of his works. At present, the world comparative literature studies have entered the third stage in the circumstance of globalization and internationalization, this finding is with paramount significance in construction of the mechanism of mutual recognition, mutual justification, mutual supplementation and mutual appreciation of heterogeneous cultures. This study, taking The Winter＇s Tale （1623） as a case, is about universality, unity, and shared values of the Confucianism and Shakespeare＇s plays in the perspective of the coexistence of multiple cultures. This paper is with four parts： （1） mechanism of mutual understanding, mutual justification, mutual supplementation, and mutual appreciation introduced in the first part; （2） the Confucian values addressed in details in the second part; （3） the third part is a case study; and （4） the last part shows how the Chinese and Western literatures and cultures can be understood, assisted, communicated, and appreciated with each other by the way of comparing the great works of Shakespeare and the Confucian values featured with universalism to a certain extent

The Role of Value in the U. S. Foreign Policy and Its Limitation

The U.S. has long been viewed as a nation ＂ founded on a creed. ＂ While some IR paradigms present values as a counter to the interestbased approaches in the formation of foreign policy, most scholars agree that the two are not mutually exclusive. Beginning with the definition and classification of values, this paper tries to analyze the functioning mechanism of values in the U. S. foreign policy making as well as the limitation of the role of values. On one hand, based on U. S. foreign diplomatic actions in history, values function not only as a goal and ideal for US foreign policy, but also as the means for implementing its foreign policy. On the other hand, the US value-oriented diplomacy is confined by national interest, power, and tempered by events and bureaucratic politics.
