This twilight of categorial discourse did not go unnoticed, and some authors offered different solutions for the revival of categorial theorizing in contemporary philosophy＇s repertoire. One of these authors is the American philosopher Stephen Pepper. The purpose of the present discussion is to offer yet another explanation for the decline of categorial theory, and to explore Pepper＇s view and its role in the transformation of categorial discourse. The main thesis which I will argue for is that traditional categories did not disappear altogether, but they have been replaced, gradually, by key empirical concepts from natural science. Even if such concepts do not satisfy the traditional requirements categories in shaping our for a categorial scheme, they are, nonetheless, fulfilling the same role as traditional worldviews.展开更多

It also informs readers the process of how she comes to change her pure maternity to the passion between man and woman after she can＇t reform her husband and can＇t find the ideal lover image in her husband. This thesis tries to analyze the formation of imbalanced relationship between husband and wife, its expression, its influence on the children and significance on family education. Meanwhile, it also warns us of the importance of family atmosphere and family education to the healthy growth of children.展开更多

The objectives of th...The integration of compute.r technology in education allows students to have better comprehension of the subject content, and suitable learning material can make learning activity more attractive. The objectives of this development research were the evaluation of short movie production as innovative learning material and the knowledge comparison between traditional learning and learning through short movie. Three licensed pharmacists, i.e., the experts, proofread the screenplay of the movie. The study subjects consisted of 68 public health students--A control group and 31 of whom saw the movie--An experiment group. The results showed that the highest mean score was o^L understanding about the ＂group of anti-bacterial agents＂, while the lowest mean score was on ＂recommendation of time used＂. Evaluation of the short movie innovation showed the highest mean score in the item ＂the film can be used as the objective＇s direction＂ and the lowest mean score in the item ＂the film is usefully material＂. The students who watched the short movie had significantly higher level of knowledge at the end than those who underwent conventional learning （p 〈 0.001）. For future studies, films that are useful for other subject areas should be produced.展开更多

The sample collection was based on file descripti...The aim of this study was to analyze the chemical composition of landrace seeds of rice, maize and cassava grown in traditional communities in file state of Maranchao. The sample collection was based on file description of the farmers for identification of varieties of plants, based on protein content, lipids, carbohydrates and mineral through Association of Official Analytical Chemists （AOAC） methods. Landrace seeds of nine maize cultivars, 13 rice and 40 cassava, with differences in centesimal composition in all varieties were analyzed. For maize landrace seeds file lipid values, carbohydrates and ash are in the average for the species. The protein contents and ash to file surveyed rice varieties were high, while the levels of lipids and carbohydrates are within average in relation to conventional varieties. The results obtained for cassava showed high percentages of protein, with a significant level for the feeding of the people of the community who consume their byproducts. Thus, differences in file chemical composition of file varieties studied showed file interference of genotype, management and environmental factors in their chemical and physiological quality, reinforcing file importance of file study of creole varieties for the development of new germplasm and for file guarantee of food sovereignty of traditional communities.展开更多
