Only one specific shadow (as a new watermark) is embedded into the host signal and the other ones are distributed to every user in each group as a key. In the watermarking extraction procedure, users in different group can obtain different watermark by combining their shadows with the extracted one from the watermarked signal. Analysis and experimental results show that the new watermarking method is novel, secure and robust.展开更多

The turbo code was used to encode the message prior to watermark embedding and decode the watermark posterior to watermark detection. From the analysis and experiments, the following conclusion could be drawn. The T-DNW algorithm has little higher computational complexity than DNW. And both algorithms have the same performance in terms of watermark visual quality impact. Furthermore, the T-DNW algorithm is much more robust against some common attack than DNW. Although the T-DNW algorithm sacrifices a half payload, we think the achievements are encouraging.展开更多

It can be inferred from the earliest woodblock-printed Dharani sutra, dating from the Tang dynasty, that printing was invented no earlier than Emperor Xuanzong’s Kaiyuan era(713–741). The most significant social factor for the invention of woodblock printing is the transmission of Yoga Esotericism from India to China, where it prevailed and prompted the evolution of duplicating sutras from separate-plate stamping to woodblock printing using a whole block and from the Sanskrit prints to the Chinese ones.展开更多

For compressed music, the watermark is embedded in partially uncompressed domain and the embedding scheme is closely related to music content. For MIDI, the watermark is embedded in virtual notes that are generated and randomly hide among the MIDI notes. This paper also presents a method for controlling usage and protecting against copying of digital music contents and their associated players. The digital music contents and their players installed in one computer cannot be used if they are copied to another computer. Even in the same computer, the duplicated digital music contents are not usable. The usage associated to the music content will restrict the running time and times. Also the music can be played and it will be automatically updated after each playing. The digital music cannot be accessible if its permitted usage expires.展开更多
