And ambiguities are ordinarily equal to zero, but could be the number of cycles that have "slipped" if loss-of-lock has occurred. Therefore, cycle slips are estimated as parameters of time-relative positioning observation equations.Because the temporal single difference observables are taken at different epochs and different stations with a single GPS receiver,if time-relative positioning observation equations are linearized as that of conventional relative positioning, the design matrix will be rank defective. To obtain a stable linearization scheme,time-relative positioning observation equations are further analyzed, and the concept of virtual measurement is applied.A sample of data collected on a vehicle test shows that a cycle slip detection approach based on time-relative positioning theory can detect slips at the value of one cycle. The results also indicate if two satellites are so near to each other that they have the same equivalent to satellite-receiver geometry, cycle slip detection will be difficult and may get wrong results.Cycle slips of different satellites also affect detection by satellite-receiver geometry.展开更多

Area Feature is classified as simple polygon, complex polygon and special polygon. For simple ones, annotations are placed along the longest edge. For complex ones, firstly the polygon are simplified according to close points, then the longest diagonal is gotten by comparing length, lastly, annotations are placed along long diagonal. For special ones, the polygon are partitioned into several parts by a certain rule for getting their sub\|diagonals, then their annotation are placed by means of the second.展开更多

Mathematical analysis and computer simulations show the above mentioned motion kinds and their corresponding damages on spotlight mode SAR imaging. Based on this analysis, a single PPP is introduced for spotlight mode SAR imaging with the PFA on the assumption that relative rotation between APC and imaged scene is uniform. The selected single point is used first to correct the quadratic and higher order phase errors and then to adjust the linear errors. After this compensation, the space-invariant phase errors caused by translation are almost corrected. Finally results are presented with the simulated data.展开更多

In the former for example, when the image size becomes larger, the author feels smaller amount blur. The quantitative evaluation based on entropy for blurred images is proposed in this paper. The author calls this metric "variation entropy". This metric has two kinds of aspects that coincide with the human visual sense. The first is the absolute evaluation of blur, and the second is the relative evaluation of blur. The former can be quantified by variation entropy for a unit boundary length (or L-type variation entropy: HL ), which is dependent on resolution, and the latter can be quantified by variation entropy for a unit area (or A-type variation entropy: H^A ), which is independent of resolution. These two metrics have complementary properties. At last, two variation entropies are applied to the standard kanji character database, and then the strong relation between variation entropy and accuracy of recognition is discussed. The tendency of writing skills for grades is evaluated by applying the metric to a database collected from school children.展开更多
