To develop a HPIX-UV-MS method for identifying the constituents in theChinese drug Notoginseng (the root of Panax notoginseng). Methods A Phenomenex Luna C_(18) column(250 mm x 4.6 mm ID, 5 μm) was utilized. Water containing 0.005% formic acid (A) and acetonitrilecontaining 0.005% formic acid (B) were used as gradient eluents. UV spectra were recorded in range195 - 400 nm. Both positive and negative ion ESI modes were used. Results The constituents inNotoginseng were well separated and detected. Fourteen compounds were identified by comparing theirretention time and ESI-MS data with those obtained from the reference compounds. Forty-one compoundswere deduced by data analysis of MS and literature; among them, yesanchinosides-H and -E,chikusetsusaponin-L_5, malonyl-ginsenoside-R_(g_1), the isomers of notoginsenosides-J, -A, -R_1, -G,-R_2, and ginsenoside-Rh_3 were discovered in Notoginseng for the first time. Conclusion Thismethod gives high sensitivity and good separation, and is suitable for identifying the constituentsin Notoginseng. This result is helpful for further phytochemical research on Notoginseng. Based onthis result, further quality control can be studied. 展开更多

Therefore, more importance is attached to living environment and indoor air quality has been high- lighted. [Method] Comparative test of new maize cultivars was conducted at different altitudes in 2015, and the yield, main economic characters, agronomic traits, growth period and resistance of maize cultivars were analyzed. [Result] Ruidan 26 and Yongrui 16 can be cultivated in the areas below the altitude of 2 200 m; Huaxingdan 88 can be cultivated in the areas below the altitude of 1 750 m; the other new maize cultivars still need to be tested further. [Cenclusion] The research results can be applied in this area and other similar areas, which will effectively promote the upgrading of maize cultivars and improve the yield per unit area. 展开更多

Incidence, disease index, percentage of infected kernels and DON content in the kernels were measured for each variety or line following artificial inoculation of Fusarium spp. pathogens. Reactions of wheat to Fusarium infection varied among genotypes and different types of resistance. The incidence of infection for each variety or line highly correlated to the severity of colonization after infection. DON content was more correlated to the percentage of kernels infected than to the overall incidence or severity. The selected control varieties were all susceptible to FHB, while seven breeding lines demonstrated good resistant performance. New FHB resistant winter wheat varieties appealing to the actual needs are expected from them. 展开更多

The aim of this paper is to analyze fluctuation in nutritional value of Dactylis glomerata and Festuca pratensis varieties grown on mineral and organic soil. Moreover, the paper deals with analysis of their nutritional value in terms of animal feeding. This paper has drawn on two field experiments set up and carried out between 2010 and 2013 by the Research Centre for Cultivar Testing in Slupia Wielka. The experiment was conducted in two experimental stations: one in the Research Centre for Cultivar Testing in Krzyzewo and the other in the Experimental Stations for Variety Testing in Uhinin, being a branch of the Research Centre for Cultivar Testing in Cicibor Duzy. The experiment was arranged and conducted according to COBORU guidelines. The experimental plots were sown with varieties of Dactylis glornerata: Niva, Tukan, Amila, Crown Royale and with varieties of Festuca pratensis: Limosa, Pasja, Anturka, Amelka (d. AND 1009). In the experimental plots with the varieties of Dactylis glornerata the grass was harvested six times a year and chemical analysis of the biomass was done taking dry matter only from five cuts. The varieties of Festuca pratensis were harvested four times. The RFV (relative feed value) was determined using the Linn and Martin method. Linn and Martin's test proved that Festuca pratensis had better nutritional value than Dactylis glomerata. For Dactylis glomerata, no matter what the variety and location was, the relative feed value ranged from 125 to 151, which puts that grass species in II quality class, good enough to feed high production dairy cows and heirs selected for replacements. The analysis of the relative feed value proved that no matter from which cut, the biomass ofDactylis glornerata belonged in Ill quality class, (RFV between 103 and 124) and it can be used to feed good beef cattle, older heifers and, in small quantities, dairy cows. 展开更多

Using these technologies, the integration of PDM and CAD systems is realized and the consistence of data in PDM and CAD systems is kept. When a seismic wave propagates through subsurface viscoelastic media,the formation absorbs the high-frequency energy of the seismic wave more strongly than the low-frequency energy.As the depth and the off set increase,the diff erence between the logarithmic spectral areas with high and low frequencies gradually increases.Based on this seismic wave characteristic,we have developed a novel Q-estimation method based on logarithmic spectral area diff erence of high and low frequencies(referred to as the LSAD_LH method).In this paper,we derive the theoretical relationship between the Q value and difference of logarithmic spectral areas with high and low frequencies and prove the applicability of the LSAD_LH method using a single-layer medium numerical model.To verify the sensitivity of the LSAD_LH method to bandwidth selection and noise,we compare the LSAD_LH method with two credible methods—the logarithmic spectral ratio(LSR)and logarithmic spectral area diff erence(LSAD)methods using a synthetic model containing the random noise.The results demonstrate that the LSAD_LH method is not highly dependent on bandwidth,and in terms of noise immunity,it is signifi cantly better than the LSR method and has the same advantages as the LSAD method.To further highlight the advantages of the LSAD_LH method,we apply the LSAD_LH and LSAD methods to the vertical seismic profi ling(VSP)numerical simulation of the multilayer media and the fi eld zero-off set VSP data.The application of the two cases proves the applicability of the LSAD_LH method and the accuracy of the high Q-value estimation relative to the LSAD method.Moreover,via the transmission coeffi cient,the LSAD_LH method overcomes the weakness of the LSAD method. 展开更多

Chiral aromatic alcohols are the key chiral building block for many important enantiopure pharmaceu-ticals. In this work,we studied asymmetric reduction of prochiral aromatic ketone to produce the corresponding chiral alcohol using vegetables as the biocatalyst. Acetophenone was chosen as the model substrate. The results in-dicate that acetophenone can be reduced to the corresponding chiral alcohols with high enantioselectivity by the chosen vegetables,i.e. apple(Malus pumila),carrot(Daucus carota),cucumber(Cucumis sativus),onion(Allium cepa),potato(Soanum tuberosum),radish(Raphanus sativus),and sweet potato(Ipomoea batatas) . In the reaction,R-1-phenylethanol is produced with apple,sweet potato and potato as the catalyst,while S-1-phenylethanol is the product with the other vegetables as the catalyst. In term of the enantioselectivity and reaction yield,carrot(D. ca-rota) is the best catalyst for this reaction. Furthermore,the reaction characteristics were studied in detail using car-rot(D. carota) as the biocatalyst. The effects of various factors on the reaction were investigated and the optimal reaction conditions were determined. Under the optimal reaction conditions(reaction time 50 h,substrate concen-tration 20 mmol·L-1,reaction temperature 35 °C and pH 7),95% of e.e.(to S-1-phenylethanol) and 85% chemical yield can be obtained. This work extends the biocatalyst for the asymmetric reduction reaction of prochiral aromatic ketones,and provides a novel potential route to produce enantiopure aromatic alcohols. 展开更多

This paper intends to examine the level of consumers' brand origin recognition accuracy of high-involved products (referred to hereafter as BORAx), investigate the factors facilitating BORAHI, and trace the implications of BORAHHI on brand evaluation, especially in cellphone industry. The BORAHI is measured in China through cellphones as the product object and a consumers' cognitive model of BORAhn is built. The paper concludes that: Chinese urban consumers have a fairly high BORAHHI; better-educated consumers demonstrate higher BORAHHI scores for foreign brands; rmle consumers have higher BORAHI scores than fe-rrules consumers; consumers lower in ethnocen-trism exhibit higher level of BORAHI for foreign brands, and ethnocentrism has no effect on BO-RAHI for local brands; international experience is not related to BORAHI for local brands; internation-al experience is positively related to education and income respectively, but it is negatively related to age. This research finds that the consumer behavior in China, one of emerging markets, is significantly different from that in developed countries. 展开更多

In AMOCO PTA (purified terephthalic acid) production process, the unavailability of real-time measurement of 4-CBA makes it impossible for timely adjustment and thereby influences the product quality and the plant economy benefit. In this paper, a kind of FCMAC (fuzzy cerebellar model articulation controller) method is presented to solve the online measurement problem. Different from the conventional CMAC (cerebellar model articulation controller) networks, which has inferior smoothing ability because of its table look-up based technology. Integrating fuzzy model into CMAC networks, it becomes more accurate in functional mapping without weakening its generalization ability. Numerical example and industrial application results show the method proposed here is satisfactory and feasible. 展开更多

Three common categories of bilateral asymmetry have been described: directional asymmetry, antisymmetry, and FA (fluctuating asymmetry). FA is the most subtle of the three types of asymmetry, and differs from the patterns of the others in that paired structures tend to be symmetric in size. The analysis of FA allows to estimate the influence of stress factors on animal development and enables evaluation of resistance to stress. The aim of this work was to estimate the symmetry of skulls of a contemporary pure goat breed, as there is currently no study of FA as an estimate of individual quality for domestic goats. For this purpose, 11 landmarks were digitized in two dimensions from the crania of 24 adult goats (12 males and 12 females) belonging to the "White Rasquera" breed. The skulls showed nearly perfect bilateral symmetry. The low detected values of FA in skulls revealed a weak influence of developmental stress on this goat contemporary population and its strong ability to compensate stress. 展开更多
