By discussing the existing problems of ecological landscape design of bridges in Chongqing City, some suggestions were summarized, which were expected to produce positive effects for the researches of ecological landscape design of bridges.展开更多

We delved into the historical development of cooperative system bridges. Cooperative systems are classified as different-load cooperative systems and same-load cooperative systems by distinguishing the modes of load distribution. For different-load cooperation,individual basic structures are at different positions in the direction along bridge axis and carry the loads separately. While for same-load cooperation,all basic structures overlap in geometrical locations and support the entire loads conjointly. The choosing of span ratios between basic structures,the design of connections of different-load cooperative systems were discussed as well as optimizations of relative rigidity for same-load cooperative systems which greatly influence structural characteristics. The general situation and several structural measurements of several cooperative bridges were demonstrated. This information can assist engineers in developing their concepts in cooperative systems and can lead to more efficient and economical cooperative bridges.展开更多
Random behavior of concrete C45/55 XF2 used for prefabricated pre-stressed bridge beams is described on the basis of evaluating a vast set of measurements. A detailed statistical analysis is carried out on 133 test re...Random behavior of concrete C45/55 XF2 used for prefabricated pre-stressed bridge beams is described on the basis of evaluating a vast set of measurements. A detailed statistical analysis is carried out on 133 test results of cylinders 150 ~ 300 mm in size. The tests have been running in laboratories of the Klokner Institute. A single worker took all specimens throughout the period, and the subsequent measurements of the static modulus of elasticity and the compressive strength of the concrete were performed. The measurements were made at the age of 28 days after specimens casting, and only one testing machine with the same capping method was used. Suitable theoretical models of division are determined on the basis of tests in good congruence, with the use of Z2 and the Bernstein criterion. A set of concrete compressive strength (carried out on 133 test results of cylinders 150 ~ 300 mm after test of static modulus of elasticity) shows relatively high skewness in this specific case. This cause that limited beta distribution is better than generally recommended theoretical distribution for strength the normal or lognormal. The modulus of elasticity is not significantly affected due to skewness because the design value is based on mean value.展开更多

The surprise is they find that across the superradian...Recently an experiment on superradiant transition of a Bose condensate in two crossed beam cavities has been reported by Leonard et al. in Nature 543, 87 (2017). The surprise is they find that across the superradiant transition, the cavity light can be emitted in any superposition of these two cavity modes. This indicates an additional U(1) symmetry that does not exist in the full Hamiltonian. In this paper we show that this symmetry is an emergent symmetry in the vicinity of the phase transition. We identify all the necessary conditions that are required for this emergent U(I ) symmetry and show that this experiment is a special case that satisfies these conditions. We further show that the superradiant transition in this system can also be driven to a first order one when the system is tuned away from the point having the emergent svmmetrv.展开更多

The results show that strong backward SHG (BSHG) appears when the particle is excited by focused DBs with topological charges of ±1.
