The vertical symmetry axis of the ve...An efficient vehicle detection approach is proposed for traffic surveillance images, which is based on information fusion of vehicle symmetrical contour and license plate position. The vertical symmetry axis of the vehicle contour in an image is. first detected, and then the vertical and the horizontal symmetry axes of the license plate are detected using the symmetry axis of the vehicle contour as a reference. The vehicle location in an image is determined using license plate symmetry axes and the vertical and the horizontal projection maps of the vehicle edge image. A dataset consisting of 450 images (15 classes of vehicles) is used to test the proposed method. The experimental results indicate that compared with the vehicle contour-based, the license plate location-based, the vehicle texture-based and the Gabor feature-based methods, the proposed method is the best with a detection accuracy of 90.7% and an elapsed time of 125 ms.展开更多

Starting from the most basic assessment of object analysis, it analyzes the current methods of brand evaluation and its focus, and then analyzes the actual operation of the most authoritative international brand evaluation agencies - Interbrand, to conduct a detailed research and analysis. Based on this, combining with the current situation of China fashion brand market, it re-summaries the evaluation parameter respectively, from the short-term brand strength factors, to the long-term brand benefit and consumer factors, in order to establish a new evaluation frame fit for China fashion industry.展开更多

This paper intends to examine the level of consumers' brand origin recognition accuracy of high-involved products (referred to hereafter as BORAx), investigate the factors facilitating BORAHI, and trace the implications of BORAHHI on brand evaluation, especially in cellphone industry. The BORAHI is measured in China through cellphones as the product object and a consumers' cognitive model of BORAhn is built. The paper concludes that: Chinese urban consumers have a fairly high BORAHHI; better-educated consumers demonstrate higher BORAHHI scores for foreign brands; rmle consumers have higher BORAHI scores than fe-rrules consumers; consumers lower in ethnocen-trism exhibit higher level of BORAHI for foreign brands, and ethnocentrism has no effect on BO-RAHI for local brands; international experience is not related to BORAHI for local brands; internation-al experience is positively related to education and income respectively, but it is negatively related to age. This research finds that the consumer behavior in China, one of emerging markets, is significantly different from that in developed countries.展开更多
