The structure and processes of nickel induced lateral crystallization are studied.The structure of metal induced lateral crystallization(MILC) is improved by opening a seed window on the buried oxide,which is helpfu t...The structure and processes of nickel induced lateral crystallization are studied.The structure of metal induced lateral crystallization(MILC) is improved by opening a seed window on the buried oxide,which is helpfu to get superior quality of large grain poly Si at low temperature.By optimizing the temperature and time of annealing based on others' pervious work,the large grain poly Si with few defects are obtained,and the typical grain size is 70~80μm.The methods of etching NiSi 2 which is created after the long time annealing are also studied for the first time.Finally,a method is successfully chosen to reduce the possible contamination of Ni and to guarantee the MILC for the submicron VLSI application.展开更多

The basis for the authors' research in progress is a framework which focuses on the relations between intrinsic motivation, creativity and Web 2.0-based online communities or social networking platforms. Can the development zone policy that pioneered Chinese industrialization energize the consumption of urban residents and become an important means of achieving the coordinated development of industrialization and urba...Can the development zone policy that pioneered Chinese industrialization energize the consumption of urban residents and become an important means of achieving the coordinated development of industrialization and urbanization?We used the policy impact of upgrading provincial development zones to conduct empirical research on the consumptiondriven effect of development zone policy with the Difference in Difference(DID)model.Our findings show that the upgrading of development zones is significant in raising urban residents’total consumption,personal consumption,housing consumption and expenditure on children’s education.This is mainly due to the increase in productivity brought about by the upgrading policy.However,in cities that have more stringent household registration(hukou)systems,impose tougher home purchase restrictions(HPR)on the floating population and have less social harmony,the labor force is less willing and less able to consume,making it hard to expand domestic demand.展开更多

The pump turbine usually works at operating conditions where the guide vanes e...As the pump turbine tends to be operated with high head and high rotational speed, the study of stability problems becomes more important. The pump turbine usually works at operating conditions where the guide vanes experience strong vibrations. However, most traditional studies were carried out based on constant GVO(guide vane opening) simulations. In this work, dynamic analysis on pressure fluctuation in the vaneless region of a pump turbine model was conducted using a dynamic mesh method in turbine mode. 3D unsteady simulations were conducted where GVO was closed and opened by 1° from the initial 18°. Detailed time domain and frequency domain characteristics on pressure fluctuation in the vaneless region under different guide vane rotational states compared with constant GVO simulations were investigated. Results show that, during the guide vanes oscillating process, the low and intermediate frequency components in the vaneless region are significantly different. The amplitudes of pressure fluctuation are higher than those with constant GVO simulations, which agree better with the experimental data. In addition, the pressure fluctuation increases when GVO is opened, and vice versa. It can be concluded that pressure fluctuation in the vaneless region is strongly influenced by the oscillating of the guide vanes.展开更多
