Although they generated job and income, the number of them increased quite low in the area. The previous study focused on the financial support on the hypothesis of lack of capital. Many agencies had provided the variety fund, but the number of them increased not so high. In the study, the author focuses in the management background on the basis that capital is the important issue but not the major factor. The management background should have a role. The author studies 370 small industries and enterprises of every type in the region. The study found that the major three issues that are the fostering factors in the occurrence of them are management background, capital, and creative thinking. Management background of entrepreneur that relate directly to their experience is a major factor rather than capital. The regression coefficient show significantly. The study can bring new strategy to develop them in the future.展开更多

Adaptive models have been modified through the introduction of wavelet function and combined into a single forecast model. Obtained from conducted research results, it shows the model an effective instrument to predict the short-term.展开更多

As a typical man of the world, Mackenzie made arduous efforts to distance himself from Harley, the simple and naive sentimental hero he created in his novel. The novel described how the innocence and tenderness of Harley were thwarted by the evil world and how Harley responded with sighs and tears. The same response was asked of the reader. Hence, readings of sentimental novels became tear-demanding exhibitions of pathos, while the unkindness and perverseness of the world were minimized and even concealed.展开更多

The authors divide the calculation of the optimal solution into two stages. In the first stage the authors determine the unconstrained minimization and check its feasibility. The second stage, the authors explore the feasible region from initial point to another point until the authors get the optimal point by using Lagrange multiplier. This Nobel Prize-winning novelist and short story writer is acclaimed throughout the world as one of the 20th century's greatest writers. A Rose for Emily (1930) is one of his masterpieces. The story describes how Emily, an old South aristocratic spinster, becomes a crazy devil and her inner world and inner struggle after the American Civil War, when the conflict between the Southern tradition is in great conflict with the Northern industry and change. The present paper, first of all, gives a brief introduction of the story. Then the paper mainly explores the root causes of her eccentric, perverse, aloof, and haughty characters in three different aspects: (1) the cause of her father; (2) the cause of the conflict between the Southern tradition and the new change; and (3) the cause of Southern old convention. The paper concludes that Emily is the victim of the cruelty and brutality of the Southern system展开更多

Laser particle size analyzer was also performed to explain possible effects. From particle size analysis and strength tests, it is hypothesized that the strength of the soil is increased with the addition of certain salinity concentrations until there are reversed effects, which is between 20 g/L and 50 g/L from our study. The increase of strength is suggested to be the affect of a greater variety of particle sizes. Since NaCI plays a role in the particle size distribution, it also plays a role in the strength of soils. The degree of the effect of the water content also differs from concentrations, and could be due to the variation of hydration film thickness on particles, which is affected by the ions introduced from water.展开更多

The parameters of this earthquake were reported differently in various versions of earthquake catalogues. According to detailed textual research on the historic records of this earthquake, the epicenter location of the earthquake was further confirmed by means of seismo-geological field investigations in the Chaohu-Tongling region along the western Yangtze River valleys. Shallow seismic prospecting and drilling methods were applied in studying the buried fault. The possibility of the existence of seismogenic faults and fault activity in the western Yangtze River area were analyzed in depth, and the causative tectonic background of the 1585 MS5 3/4 south Chaoxian earthquake was studied. The results of this study indicate that the Yanjiaqiao-Fengshahu fault, which was active in the early to mid-Pleistocene,is possibly the causative structure of this earthquake. To identifying the seismogenic structure of the 1585 south Chaoxian earthquake will help gain more knowledge about the tectonic background of moderate and small earthquake activity in Eastern China.展开更多
