数学是小学义务教育阶段最基础的一门课程,这一阶段的主要教学任务是培养小学生的基本运算能力和逻辑思维能力,对于促进小学生的智力开发和综合能力的提高具有十分重要的意义。由于数学这一科目独特的逻辑性。导致一部分学生在学习数... 数学是小学义务教育阶段最基础的一门课程,这一阶段的主要教学任务是培养小学生的基本运算能力和逻辑思维能力,对于促进小学生的智力开发和综合能力的提高具有十分重要的意义。由于数学这一科目独特的逻辑性。导致一部分学生在学习数学的过程中出现了困难,这些学生也被称为数学学困生,虽然学困生在班级中所占的比例很小,但对于他们每个人来说却是一个很大的问题。学困生大都缺乏学习的主动性,学习时不爱动脑筋,比较依赖老师和周围的同学,没有制定适合自己的学习计划,抄作业的现象比较严重,而且有些还具有逆反心理。导致数学学困生形成的原因有很多,他们可能不喜欢数学这个科目,从一开始就爱有打好基础,也有可能在学习的过程中遇到了困难没有及时解决而对数学产生了恐惧心理等等。要提高学困生学习数学的兴趣,首先要提高他们在课堂中的参与度,如何使学困生积极的参与到数学课堂中来,是当前教育工作者共同面对的一个问题。本文中笔者结合多年的教学经验,总结了一些提高学困生数学课堂参与度的笨略,希望可以提升当前小学学困生的教学课堂参与度。 展开更多

With the rapid development and furthering of higher education, most Chinese colleges have carried out large-scale enrollment program, which is a necessary improvement toward higher education reform. Meanwhile, the increasing number of students has posed new problems and requirements for the old teaching method: the English teachers are facing more students and larger classes. In Zhejiang University, City College (ZUCC) the credit system and course selection has challenged the English teachers on a higher level. Every English teacher is facing classes of more than 40 students from various departments with sharp contrast among individual students in their English proficiency level and local background. How can every student actively participate in teaching activity so as to achieve better performance in English class? Many teachers, therefore, have adopted team activity and cooperative teaching method to stimulate student participation in class. Inspired by the management theory to optimize student groups into independent teams, the concept of team construction and team management has been introduced into College English Teaching in ZUCC, which has given new meaning to team activity--it will become an interdisciplinary teaching method with its own feature. 展开更多

School Support Services Model for Students With Disabilities in General Education Classrooms: Using Data From the Special Needs Education Longitudinal Study in Taiwan

The purposes of this study were to establish a school support service model for students with disabilities in general classroom, and to explore the current status of school support services provided for students with disabilities in preschools, primary, and junior high schools. Therefore, this study used data from the Special Needs Education Longitudinal Study in Taiwan, collected in the 2007-2008 academic year. There were 2,924 students with disabilities selected in the study who were placed in general classrooms; 855 were in preschool, 1,079 were in primary school and 990 were in junior high school. The questionnaires in the database were answered by their teachers. The results of this study are listed, as follows: In terms of the school support service model for students with disabilities in the three stages of education, adjustment in teaching accounts for 1-15% of the explanatory power regarding the overall model, while support services account for 63-85%, which peak in junior high schools. Secondly, itinerant teachers are found to be the most important human resource in preschools. For primary and junior high schools, parents and special education teachers are the more prevalent influences. The more common school support services are tuition refunds, itinerant services, adjustments in examinations, and scholarships. 展开更多

The story relates that the narrator through the visit of his wife's blind friend eliminates the prejudice and goes out of shell of closed-off ignorance. Carver employs precise and concise language to develop plot and reveal characters' mind and sets tensions leading to character's epiphany. The researchers chose suitable picture... The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of the balanced reading program on the elementary school students in Taiwan. The participants were 36 fifth graders in Taiwan. The researchers chose suitable picture books as teaching materials and made use of them to design a balanced reading program. The program combines the ideas of whole language and phonics rules. Whole-part-whole structure was used in the teaching process. The teaching of the balanced reading program lasted for nine weeks. The questionnaire of learning feedbacks, the questionnaire of reading activities, the teacher's journal, interviews with teachers and students were used to gather data. Six facts were found after the analysis of the data: (1) Among the picture books, 'Seven Blind Mice' and 'Snow' were chosen by the students as their favorite. (2) Most students liked the reading activities for this semester. (3) The students made progress in reading ability and reading techniques. (4) The frequency of the students' reading English storybooks increased. (5) Most students were willing to read English storybooks after the program. (6) The table of self-evaluation didn't work well. Some suggestions have been provided according to the findings. 展开更多
