How to extract optimal composite attributes from a variety of conventional seismic attributes to detect reservoir features is a reservoir predication key,which is usually solved by reducing dimensionality.Principle co...How to extract optimal composite attributes from a variety of conventional seismic attributes to detect reservoir features is a reservoir predication key,which is usually solved by reducing dimensionality.Principle component analysis(PCA) is the most widely-used linear dimensionality reduction method at present.However,the relationships between seismic attributes and reservoir features are non-linear,so seismic attribute dimensionality reduction based on linear transforms can't solve non-linear problems well,reducing reservoir prediction precision.As a new non-linear learning method,manifold learning supplies a new method for seismic attribute analysis.It can discover the intrinsic features and rules hidden in the data by computing low-dimensional,neighborhood-preserving embeddings of high-dimensional inputs.In this paper,we try to extract seismic attributes using locally linear embedding(LLE),realizing inter-horizon attributes dimensionality reduction of 3D seismic data first and discuss the optimization of its key parameters.Combining model analysis and case studies,we compare the dimensionality reduction and clustering effects of LLE and PCA,both of which indicate that LLE can retain the intrinsic structure of the inputs.The composite attributes and clustering results based on LLE better characterize the distribution of sedimentary facies,reservoir,and even reservoir fluids.展开更多
We proposed an enhanced image binarization method.The proposed solution incorporates Monte-Carlo simulation into the local thresholding method to address the essential issues with respect to complex background,spatial...We proposed an enhanced image binarization method.The proposed solution incorporates Monte-Carlo simulation into the local thresholding method to address the essential issues with respect to complex background,spatially-changed illumination,and uncertainties of block size in traditional method.The proposed method first partitions the image into square blocks that reflect local characteristics of the image.After image partitioning,each block is binarized using Otsu’s thresholding method.To minimize the influence of the block size and the boundary effect,we incorporate Monte-Carlo simulation into the binarization algorithm.Iterative calculation with varying block sizes during Monte-Carlo simulation generates a probability map,which illustrates the probability of each pixel classified as foreground.By setting a probability threshold,and separating foreground and background of the source image,the final binary image can be obtained.The described method has been tested by benchmark tests.Results demonstrate that the proposed method performs well in dealing with the complex background and illumination condition.展开更多

After evolution, the solutions’s precision can be greatly improved by means of the local searching along the recorded direction. Simulation shows that this algorithm can not only keep population diversity but also find accurate solutions. This paper proposes an algorithm that extracts features of back side of the vehicle and detects the front vehicle in real-time by local feature tracking of vehicle in the continuous images.The features in back side of...This paper proposes an algorithm that extracts features of back side of the vehicle and detects the front vehicle in real-time by local feature tracking of vehicle in the continuous images.The features in back side of the vehicle are vertical and horizontal edges,shadow and symmetry.By comparing local features using the fixed window size,the features in the continuous images are tracked.A robust and fast Haarlike mask is used for detecting vertical and horizontal edges,and shadow is extracted by histogram equalization,and the sliding window method is used to compare both side templates of the detected candidates for extracting symmetry.The features for tracking are vertical edges,and histogram is used to compare location of the peak and magnitude of the edges.The method using local feature tracking in the continuous images is more robust for detecting vehicle than the method using single image,and the proposed algorithm is evaluated by continuous images obtained on the expressway and downtown.And it can be performed on real-time through applying it to the embedded system.展开更多
