Corresponding formulae in terms of the interfacial factor are derived in detail by incorporating Taylor expansion and Drude model. We take composite as numerical calculation. It is concluded that such absorption is dependent not only on the temperature, but also on the properties of interfacial layers. Many other interesting phenomena are shown.展开更多

Particularly the 5d metal oxides containing Iridium have received significant attention within the last years, due to their unexpected physical properties, caused by a strong spin orbit coupling observed in It(IV). A prominent example is the Mott-insulator Sr2IrO4. Another member of this family, the honeycomb lattice compound Na2IrO3, also being a Mott-insulator having, most probably, a Kitaev spin liquid ground state. By deintercalating sodium from Na2IrO3, the authors were able to synthesize a new honeycomb lattice compound with more than 50% reduced sodium content. The reduction of the sodium content in this layered compound leads to a change of the oxidation state of iridium from + IV to + V/+ VI and a symmetry change from C2/c to P-3. This goes along with significant changes of the physical properties. Besides the vanishing magnetic ordering at 15 K, also the transport properties changes and instead insulating semiconducting properties are observed.展开更多

The temperature-dependenceof electric resistivity and Hall coefficient from 2 to 300 K shows that the CaB6single crystals are conductors withsemi-metallic behavior and electron carriers. Band structure calculations indicate that the conduction and valence bands meetat the X point at the Fermi level, which is consistent with the experimentally determined conducting behavior of CaB6singlecrystals. Calculations of state density suggest that the states at the Fermi level originate from the 2p orbital of the B atoms andthe 3d orbital of the Ca atom. Magnetization measurements show the paramagnetic nature of the CaB6. The micro-hardness ofCaB6is 24.39 GPa, and the Raman spectra of CaB6yield three sharp peaks at around 780.9, 1138.9, and 1282.1 cm 1for T2g,Eg, and A1g, respectively. The specific heat of the crystal is measured and found to be well described by the Debye and Einsteincombined model. The fitting results show Debye and Einstein temperatures are 1119 and 199 K, respectively.展开更多

The potential toxicity and irreversibility impact on the natural environment has become one of the most forefront pollution problems in nuclear energy utilization. In this work, rod-like metal-organic framework (MOF-5) nanomaterial was synthesized by a solvothermal method and applied to efficiently adsorb U(VI) from aqueous solutions. The batch experimental results showed that the sorp- tion of U(Vl) on MOF-5 was strongly dependent on pH and independent of ionic strength, indicating that the dominant interaction mechanism was inner-sphere surface complexation and electrostatic interac- tion. The maximum sorption capacity of U(Vl) on MOF-5 was 237.0 mg]g at pH 5.0 and T = 298 K, and the sorption equilibrium reached within 5 rain. The thermodynamic parameters indicated that the removal of U(VI) on MOF-5 was a spontaneous and endothermic process. Additionally, the FT-IR and XPS analyses implied that the high sorption capacity of U(Vl) on MOF-5 was mainly attributed to the abundant oxygen-containing functional groups (i.e., C-O and C=O). Such a facile preparation method and efficient removal performance highlighted the application of MOF-5 as a candidate for rapid and efficient radionuclide contamination's elimination in practical applications.展开更多

Their one-and two-photon absorption properties and aggregation-induced emission effect have been investigated. Both the STAPA-based compounds are AIE active. The two-photon absorption (2PA) cross sections measured by the open aperture Z-scan technique are determined to be 620 and 1610 GM for STAPA-a and STAPA-b in chloroform, respectively, which dramatically increase with the introduction of alkyl chains. The relationship between their structures and properties on one-and two-photon absorption and aggregation-induced emission is discussed, which allows us to examine the effect of introducing alkyl chains. In addition, solvent effects also show a significant influence on the 2PA cross section. The two compounds with excellent AIE and 2PA properties provide attractive alternatives for the biophotonic materials.展开更多

Results from tests with immune rabbits indicate that: (i) A new antigen synthesized with CMPA has good stability and is safe for immunizing animals with no toxic phenomena being found in animal experiments; (ii) the immunogenic antigen (CMPA-BSA) can stimulate the immune system to produce specific antibodies with high titrations, up to 150000; and (iii) antibodies in antisera showed higher affinity to OVA-GSH-CuC1 than OVA-GSH, which indicates that the antibodies have specific affinity towards copper ions. These results confirm that the novel hapten and relevant antigen for copper ion have been successfully synthesized, giving progress towards an immunoassay for copper ions in environmental and food samples.展开更多

文摘In this paper, we describe the synthesis of a novel copper ion hapten using the copper mercaptide of penicillenic acid (CMPA) derived from penicillin. These results confirm that the novel hapten and relevant antigen for copper ion have been successfully synthesized, giving progress towards an immunoassay for copper ions in environmental and food samples.
