This system in tegrates the embedded Linux system witha n ARM kernel and oc ns ists of a S3C6410 main control module a wirel ss local arean etwork WLAN card a LCD screne and so on.In the scenario of a wireless multi-hop video transmission both the H.264 and JPEG are used and their performances such as the compression rate delay and frame loss rate are analyzed in theory andc ompared in the experiment.The system is tested in the real indoor and outdoor environment.The results show that the scheme of the multi-hop video transmission experiment system can be applicable for VANET and multiple scenes and the transmission control protocol and routing protocol proposed can achieve real-time transmission and meet multi-hop requirements.展开更多
The design, manufacture and deployment of embedded systems become increasingly complex and multidisciplinary process. Before the steps of manufacturing and deployment, a simulation and validation phase is necessary. G...The design, manufacture and deployment of embedded systems become increasingly complex and multidisciplinary process. Before the steps of manufacturing and deployment, a simulation and validation phase is necessary. Given the increasing complexity of systems such as telecommunications systems, control systems and others, a specific simulation and validation process must take place. This simulation ideally made in a single development environment should cover different areas and all components of the system. In this paper, the authors briefly describe the behavioral models of the elements of a large scale WSN (wireless sensors network) used to create simulator, focusing specifically on the model of the transmission channel, and how it can retrieve results from the behavioral simulator. In side to legacy network simulator, for the testing and modeling of communication protocols, this simulator should not omit WSN specific aspect, in accuracy it covers the modeling of node platforms, protocols, and real world phenomena.展开更多
The efficiency-upgrading role that La0.8Sr0.2CoO3 plays in the thermoelectric properties of Bi Cu Se O(BCSO) has been studied. LSCO was introduced into BCSO, increasing the electrical conductivity from 3.3 to 52.3 S...The efficiency-upgrading role that La0.8Sr0.2CoO3 plays in the thermoelectric properties of Bi Cu Se O(BCSO) has been studied. LSCO was introduced into BCSO, increasing the electrical conductivity from 3.3 to 52.3 S cm^-1 at 303 K, from 35.8 to 97.3 S cm^-1 at 873 K; respectively. The Seebeck coefficient of all composites still holds around or more than 200 μV/K. Based on the enhanced electrical conductivity and high Seebeck coefficient, the power factor is enhanced by approximately 35%, with the best sample reaching a maximum value of 476.7 μ Wm^-1 K^-2 at 873 K. The lattice thermal conductivity of the nanocomposites is reduced as LSCO content increases from 15 vol% to 30 vol% due to the phonon scattering by nanoparticles and grain boundaries, resulting in a significant reduction in total thermal conductivity. In short, the enhanced thermoelectric figure of merit of 0.67 at 873 K for the sample containing 20 vol% LSCO as compared to 0.53 for the pure sample; announces the promising effect of LSCO on improving thermoelectric properties of Bi Cu Se O.展开更多
