The modei is a semi-empirical structured into two series ideal continuously stirred tank reactor (CSTR) models. The optimal objectives include maximizing the yield or inlet rate and minimizing the concentration of 4-carboxy-benzaldhyde, which is the main undesirable intermediate product in the reaction process. The multi-objective optimization algorithra applied in this study is non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ (NSGA-Ⅱ). The performance of NSGA-Ⅱ is further illustrated by application to the title process.展开更多

This work presents an equipment selection knowledge base system for industrial styrene process(S-ESKBS) based on the ontology technology. This structure includes a low-level knowledge base and a top-level interactive application. As the core part of the S-ESKBS, the low-level knowledge base consists of the equipment selection ontology library, equipment selection rule set and Pellet inference engine. The top-level interactive application is implemented using S-ESKBS, including the parsing storage layer, inference query layer and client application layer. Case studies for the industrial styrene process equipment selection of an analytical column and an alkylation reactor are demonstrated to show the characteristics and implementability of the S-ESKBS.展开更多

Moreover the melting points and the fusion enthalpies of musk ketone, musk xylene and 1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dinitro-5-tert-butyl benzene are also measured by the DSC. These solid-liquid equilibrium data and the heats of fusion are reported for the first time. Then UNIFAC model is used to correlate the sofid-liquid equilibrium data. It is shown that the solid-liquid equilibria of musk systems can be predicted by the UNIFAC model.展开更多

Performance test of RAX-2000A showed that the average purity of the PX product reached 99.81%, with an average PX yield of 98.6% per pass. The new generation of PX adsorbents, RAX-3000 not only retains most advantages of the adsorbent RAX-2000A, but also has higher selective adsorption capacity by at least 8%. The actual unit production capability of the adsorbent RAX- 3000 was increased by about 18%. The RAX series PX adsorbents exhibited good adaptability to unfavorable feedstock containing high ethyl benzene (EB) fraction besides their better mechanical strength. Preliminary test results indicated that compared to the adsorbent RAX-2000A, the A/Fa and D/F relating to the adsorbent RAX-3000 were notably decreased due to the hi^her selective adsorotion canacitv of the adsorbent RAX-3000.展开更多
