In response to the call of the Ministry of Education for new engineering construction, ideological and political education must be integrated into the curriculum reform. This paper takes “Thought Basis of Industrial Design” as an example to discuss the reform content and practical application of ideological and political teaching in the training of new engineering for industrial design majors, guiding students to build up feelings of family and country, enhance personal character, cultivate scientific outlook, enhance social responsibility, and train new engineering innovative design talents with both moral and ability while learning professional knowledge.展开更多
